Mod Organizer 2 ,of course. The (in my opinion) best organizer there is. Far, far better than Vortex (and "yes", i tried Vortex and didn't like it)

Where can i find this?

BTW...I made this suggestion : "Old Feedback Topics" - "I suggest you copy all the old Feedback Topics, which you now have conveniently removed by opening this new "suggestion board", from some of your back-ups. This way we could search the topics to prevent double posting of topics which others already made" .... Just in case it will not be approved by a moderator.... Sorry for my clunky english....
-
And new topics now need the approval of a moderator, which i just found out. This way they easily can filter out unwanted suggestions....

Hello, have recently used the forums a bit, and noticed i have some kind of leaf symbol on top of my avatar. It seems to be some kind of "rank" symbol. Despite my best efforts i coudn't find any usefull information about ranks, not even in the FAQ (so i guess this is not frequently asked either). So my questions are: what are ranks, and what are they good for?

I hate to bring this to you, but there are many "Premium" users, like me, who MANY years ago paid a measly 29,99 € or so for a lifetime premium membership (of course, back in the days it was a gamble if this site would exist "a lifetime") . So i can't just cancel it (and do not want to....). And bad design now or not, i appreciate, that NEXUS kept its promise, and I'm still a "Premium" member, and I'm using NEXUS every day.

EXACTLY THIS !!!

One Moment.....sometimes I'm a little slow ...Are You saying you're going to take away "https://www.nexusmods.com/GAMENAME/mods/trackingcentre ? And you are only discussing IF your 're putting in a replacement. And from what i can see https://www.nexusmods.com/mods/trackingcentre is not a better home. Everytime I need to put in the game name in the "filter" for what i want to see if some of my tracked mods have gotten an update. The game specific tracking centre as it is implemented right now (talking about the old design) is most vital part for me, which I'm using the most. Sometimes more than the new mods part. And since I'm not using collections I don't have somebody who's telling me "Hey there's an Update of the collection. I'll do this myself and it's part of the experience. I'm running Skyrim SE with rouhgly 1700 mods with roughly 1300 plugins and i NEED a tracking centre, or I'm lost....it get's worse and worse and worse ......

Earlier I wrote You (Nexus Staff) could just have improved the code under the hood, and kept the design of the webpage. In case you didn't understand what i mean, here's an example: This is a picture of a VW Käfer (VW Beetle) with an E-Motor, officially approved by Volkswagen VW. (https://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/oldtimer/vw-e-kaefer-2019-elektro-kaefer-ab-werk/) This is a picture of an old VW Käfer with the normal fuel motor. (http://soulcars.de/portfolio_page/volkswagen-kaefer-cabrio-1969/) You see, the changes are just under the hood, but they both look the same. One is new, one is old, simple. You could just have done the same with your webpage and nobody would have complained.

If your address bar show's something like this "https://www.nexusmods.com/games/"Game Name" , you are on the new design page. Remove the "games/" part from the adress and you're back on the old/good design ....for now...they will remove the old address pretty soon, i guess

Nice ones....working like a charm. Thank You !!

OMG....are even more changes planed?.....Aren't you listening? ...I already gave my opinion/feedback about these design changes like many others as well and will not repeat them now, but i fear for the worst when i read your reply.... You know , here in Germany we have a saying: something to "verschlimmbessern". It's like the intend to improve something, that's not broken and instead making it worse at the same time. It's hard to translate the meaning correctly.....

If I may just add my thoughts about the new search function....What i feel is worse with this update: 1) Search opens a new page 2) The droplist (which stayed on the page you were actually looking at), is gone. 3) I would much more appreciate the results in a list form, not tiles with large pictures. And as always, not only on the search page, you are wasting space to the left and to the right. Heck, I'm looking at a 16:9 screen, when will you ever use the space properly? And if you say it's because of the mobile phone users, then open a second NEXUS site which hosts mods just for mobile phones. You could call it "nexusmobilemods.com". Maybe you get some new customers over there, too (not me, though....)

That was the first time i heard about the planned change of the webpage design. And i think i clicked on the banner pretty early (not on the first or second day...maybe not even during the first week) in the process. I didn't read about it in the formus, because, like may others, i simply don't use them very often. I tuned off notifications, because usually it's just about updated mods. So, like many others, i heared about these terrible plans pretty late, BUT since i was aware about this, i forwarded my complains, and , of course, it didn't do much. They are still just makeing everything worse. I'm Nexus user since 2009 and this poop happens not for the first time....

Unfortunately, from my point of view, you are doing exactly the opposite....and i wouldn't call it an "upgrade". "Degrade" is more fitting i think....

Exactly what i was thinking....hate it

The question remains, which was asked by a lot of people, why did you change the style of the UI, which was working just fine, in the first place?
-
Worked like a charm.....Thank You !!

Hi...how do i install this? I installed the Stylus Extension for Firefox, but when i want to import a style it wants files in *.json format. I get the instruction to drag and drop the file on the webpage tab, but the i just get to see the code of your css-file

And i guess any negative critique will not be taken into account. Even the fact, that maybe more people are not happy about the upcoming changes. MANY OF US DON'T WANT THE DESIGN CHANGE. I do not believe you when you are saying that (Quote) "...prioritising the features and adjustments that the majority of users wanted.". I don't believe it's the majority. Keep the design, change the code if you must, but keep the design.
-
I disagree. The more fletched out the description is, the more details are given, the better it is.
-
Why is THIS supposed to be better than THIS? With the present (good) design, i can see 10 mods. With the upcoming new (bad) design i barely can see 8 mods. And I'm missing the background picture. As many said before, if you REALLY must do an "upgrade", make it optional. You can do all your code improvements under the hood and keep the design as it is.

Why not? I have my browser open almost all the time, maybe to quickly check something on a mod page, or maybe to watch a Youtube/Twitch video during longer load times. Pretty normal to have the browser open....
