  1. Looking forward to it. It sounds awesome, any idea when it will be done?
  2. Ok, so my last post about FO3 Modding problems is fixed (again thanks!), but I have another one. It crashes upon loading a game. It stops responding as soon as I load a game, or when I get control of my character after customization. I will post my specs below. Any help would again be greatly appreciated! System Model: HP Pavilion DV6 Notebook PC OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit (6.1, Build 7600) BIOS: InsydeH20 Version 03.60 48F. 13 Processor: Intel ® Core i7-2620M CPU @2.70 GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.70 GHz Memory: 6144MB Ram (6 GB) Page File: 3367 used, 8814 MB available (I don't know if that's relevant, so I'll post anyways) Direct X Version: DirectX 11 Graphics Card: Radeon HD 6770M I'm perfectly willing to post any other specs! But please help! Now for my Load Order: I've done probably 10 BOSS auto sorts and conflict detectors in FOMM. I've also disabled all of my mods individually and the problem still persists. Fallout3.esm Anchorage.esm ThePitt.esm BrokenSteel.esm PointLookout.esm Zeta.esm EnhancedWeather-RainAndSnow.esm (Has been disabled, problem still persists) DC_Interiors_ComboEdition.esm (Has been disabled, problem still persists) AlternateStart.esp (Has been disabled, problem still persists) UndergroundHideout.esp (Has been disabled, problem still persists) DC_Interiors_DLC_Collectables.esp (Has been disabled, problem still persists) Enhanced Weather - Rain and Snow in Fallout.esp (Has been disabled, problem still persists) Enhanced Weather - Radioactive Rain and Snow Plugin.esp (Has been disabled, problem still persists) Enhanced Weather - Weather Sounds in Interiors.esp (Has been disabled, problem still persists) Enhanced Weather - Sneak Bonus during Storms.esp (Has been disabled, problem still persists) Fellout-Full.esp (Has been disabled, problem still persists) AlternateStart.esp (Has been disabled, problem still persists) I am not brain dead-I know the two Alternate Starts would conflict each other, and they have never been loaded at the same time. I only downloaded the bottommost one because I thought that the first one was the one causing the problem. I have also ran the game with just Fallout3.esm checked. The Non-responding problem still persists. Again, any help would be great! I will give kudos to those who help!
  3. serious UAC infestation http://www.pcmag.com/encyclopedia_term/0,2542,t=UAC&i=58223,00.asp Windows not allowing you to make the change because it didn't give you permission to be an Admin It doesn't care that you are, it cares that it didn't say you were Thank you that's what I thought. I'll do an advanced install and change the destination to C:Program Files/Bethesda/Fallout3 (No x86) I'm already in the process of doing that so... But come to think of it, Oblivion, NV, and Morrowind are in steam, FO3 is not. x86 f*#@s up everything doesn't it. Thanks again. Kudos to you! you may still have the problem in that directory kill the programs just install to bethesda Yeah the program files didn't work either, but I killed the programs files all together like you said and it works now! Thanks a million man!

  5. I have every Bethesda game since Morrowind on my Computer. Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, and New Vegas. I have no trouble modding Morrowind, Oblivion, or New Vegas. I just got this computer a month ago, and used to mod Fallout 3 on my old PC. (The new one is obviously better and can run Fallout 3 perfectly on High). I am experienced at modding so it is not a problem of human error, as I know how to mod these games. I use 7Zip to install. Anyways now to the problem. Let's say I download the Alternate Start-Shack mod from the nexus, I extract in using 7Zip to the data folder blah blah blah. It says "Can not open output file (C: Program Files (x86)/Bethesda/Fallout3/Data)". I do not have this problem with New Vegas or Oblivion or Morrowind, and I have done quite a few clean installs of FO3. Any help in solving this problem would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
