  1. Thank you everyone for their input! :) I think I have finally found what I wanted with the minimum amount of FPS drop: RealLike ENB, Tamriel Reloaded, Skysight and turned off Real Clouds. I get 50-55 FPS in the open world, 60 FPS in dungeons and minimum of 30 FPS during storms/battles/lots of vegetation etc. Just another quick question: saving (whether quicksave or autosave) makes my game stutter. Is there any way to prevent that?
  2. I made a couple of tweaks here and there, and my FPS has not really improved. Certainly not as stable as 60fps. I do have quite a lot of mods running so maybe this is the issue. I am fairly sure that the lightning mods are the ones that causing the FPS drop. If that is the case, can you recommend another ENB mod? I was thinking of RealLike ENB which supposedly offers great performance.
  3. Thank you for the fast answer! Indeed this ENB is pretty amazing, really fits my taste! :) I have to say though, I was in Windhelm and on average I run with the ENB at about 40 FPS, but had massive stutters whenever I was turning. My FPS dropped to 5 and then back to 40. Any idea what might be causing this?
  4. Hello, I just bought a new PC and I am having a hard time trying to find an ENB that suits my system's specifications. These are my specs. Can anyone here suggest what ENB would provide a good performance for my system? Thank you in advance!
  5. I just saw your video and I have to say, I am REALLY looking forward to your mod. The only thing that I think would be nice of you to implement in faster sheathing animation during combat. I do not know of it is possible or not, but it would really make your mod perfect. Keep up the good work!
  6. Oh wow! This is amazing. I will post my comments on the actual thread :)
  7. I just installed Armed to the teeth - Easy version and, even though I love the way my character looks now (with all his weapons and all), I am incredibly frustrated by its main bug. In essence, if I change a weapon without sheathing it first, a weird bug occurs, where I am holding both weapons. Now, I know that this bug will probably never be resolved, but it can rectified in other ways. 1. If the animation speed of holstering/sheathing your weapon is sped up during combat 2. If (through a script) the player is forced to first sheath his weapon before changing. Since I have no experience in creating scripts and/or anything to do with modding animations, is there anyone else here who can help me out? Thank you in advance
  8. Is anyone working on this? This thread has not been updated for quite some time. I am very interested in this script, mostly for the Armed to the Teeth - Easy Version mod, but also for the increased immersion.
  9. Nevermind my problem; I actually managed to fix it by myself. Problem: The issue causing the crash was the quest A New Order. More specifically, I had reached stage 70 of the quest and whenever I tried going back to Isran to turn in the quest, the game would crash in Dayspring canyon. Solution: I inserted the console command of SetStage <quest id> <stage value> by replacing <quest id> with DLC1HunterBaseIntro and <stage value> with 200. This caused the quest to be completed and triggering the next quest Prophet. After completing the first stage of this quest I was able to walk freely to Dayspring canyon without the game crashing.
  10. Hello, Everytime I try to get to Forst Dawnguard, I have to pass through Dayspring canyon, which causes my game to crash. It is a specific spot before even reaching the Fort that, whenever my character walks through, causes my game to crash. Here are the things I tried to do to resolve this: 1. Loaded an earlier savegame and tried to walk through the specific spot. CRASH 2. Disabled all my mods, with the exceptions of Skyrim.esm, Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm, Hearthfires.esm, Dragonborn.esm. CRASH 3. Cleaning my savegame with a tool. CRASH The second points seems to indicate that the problem does not reside with a mod, but rather with something else (right?). What else is there to do? In addition, here is my BOSS Log File in the case that it is needed in any way. Thank you in advance!
  11. Sorry that I did not post this solution to the problem before but here it is: The problem for me was not actually that the scripts were lagging by themselves, but that a script had malfuctioned and was causing other scripts to lag as well. Now, I was unable to find a fix for fixing the bad script but I did use this tool http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31724/? which at first looked like it had solved my issue but after a week of playing it had not. What actually fixed the issue was this tutorial http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31675/?. This made it possible for me to remove all scripts from my savegame. Firstly, I unistalled all mods (actually you only need to uninstall all mods that have scripts, but I disabled them all just to be safe), waited for 10 minutes or so of real time in Skyrim and then did a clean save. Then I followed the tutorial and removed all scripts from my savegame. After that I installed all my previous mods, one-by-one and launched the game several times to check if the problem was still there (and if you still find the problem, then make sure to note down which mod is causing that). That was all I did. Now if this does not work for you, I cannot help you. Though it is advisable, that if you find which mod causes the script lag, you can contact the author of the mod for further assistance.
  12. Thank you all for your tremendous suggestion! I finally settled with ULO Plus, which provided me with the overall quality feeling that I like and a great performance. I have 70-80 FPS in Dungeons, 55-60 in the Wilds and 40-50 in Cities. The overall look is very nice, since I was already using Realistic Lighting Overhaul, Dynavision and Climates of Tamriel with the addition of the HD Official Textures (optimized).
  13. Thank all for the suggestions! I tried the Ultimate Lighting Overhaul mod, which dropped my FPS 1-2 points and had a very nice visual effect. I also tried the Kountervibe ENB, which was very performance friendly, but not really my cup of tea. Could you post some screenshots please? And also your skyrim configuration (AA levels etc)? Lastly, the Realvision ENB worked really great for most of Skyrim (40 - 45 fps at most areas) with the exception of outside of Whiterun which make my FPS drop to 32... Can anyone clarify to me the reason? ~
  14. Thanks for the suggestion! I tried it and my framerate never went above 30 in the plains outside of Whiterun. Any other suggestions?
  15. Hello, I would be grateful if someone could help me out pick the best ENB for my system. By "best" I refer to the ENB which creates a perfect balance between performance and graphics for my Skyrim. Here is my Speccy screenshot: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/I3WAImMPsNCaRAlLln1dFlb Thank you in advance
