that's not what i was referring to, what i meant was that it could be some third party claiming to have gone through the paper work in an attempt to simply extort money as a business model, riding on the premise that people will simply pay the settlement money instead of trial fees before they realize the case itself has no standing. from notch's site:

6 caravans, 3 on your side 3 on NPC's side. the game ends when 3 caravans have 21-26 points(card value=points Ace=1) you can only place cards going in ascending order or descending order, for example if you place a 10, and then a 6 underneath it you have to place a card lower than six underneath it. Face cards are place beside regular cards and change how other cards works: Joker: placed beside an ace removes all cards of the aces suit(doesn't remove ace), placed beside a number removes all other cards of the same number. King: placed beside a number will cause the king to be valued as that number, so if its next to a 10, the king itself acts as another 10. Queen:changes the order by which the cards can be placed, from ascending to descending or vice versa. Jack: removes card's beside the jack once placed. write down the face card rules, it helps a lot.

it initially did that with mine, but after either leveling up a bit or playing the game a few more times they started actually bidding.

someone should make a mod, simple enough, to allow you to repair Ed-E maybe attach it to a repeatable quest(thus you can recall where it's "corpse" is) or allow you to put it in your inventory as a misc item and take it to a work bench or something.
