  2. I looked back through the file, recompiled everything, and it still is not working. I added the rest of the needed files such as the scripts and such. I honestly have no idea what I am doing wrong.

I can see her in game, I can dismiss her, ask her to carry things and such, but not actually get her to follow me. I am not given the prompt for her to actually join the follower faction despite everything. She's in Warmaiden, in Whiterun. I have no idea what I did wrong. I followed Darkfox127's tutorial (the updated one) as I have several times before, but, for some reason, I just cannot get her to follow me. I would really love to have my little Marshmellow following me. My dad is still heavily mourning her and I think seeing her immortalized would likely be cathartic to the both of us. Can someone please help?

We have the feeling troughs to keep our two-headed cows from spawning all over the settlements, I wish there was some way to make any creature that comes from the cages in Wasteland Workshop work similarly. I really want to make a zoo, with people able to walk around and live, but not have my animals wandering all over the place. Especially after finding a settlement mod for the majority of Nuka World, where there is a zoo ALREADY made, it's so frustrating to think that you could never get animals to stay in those cages. I don't know if re-scripted troughs would work, or a edited guard post that makes animals stand in one spot... I would have no idea where to even begin with working at something like this. I had been reading other threads that said that disabling their teleportation would be very difficult/impossible to do without messing up settlers, but perhaps there is something else to get around that. We have mods that give us all of the DLC creatures for the workshop, but I cannot find one that actually allows the player to have some control over where their animals are. Heck, just getting my rad stags off the roof and out of my houses would be an improvement. Also, if that is impossible, would there be a way to create 'animatronic' versions of the animals in the crafting menu that use the animations but do not wander?
  5. I am new to modding, but I want to learn how to work with meshes and things. Just simple edits to like saddles and things, using meshes from the game. Every tutorial that I've read that I can simply take the two nif files and paste one into the other. The meshes that I want to put together show up in nifskope just fine. I made textures and put them into creation kit: the mesh showed up there as well. I can put the textures on and have no problems with it up to that point; no warnings about nonfuctioning textures or anything. However, the problem is when I put it on the horse: suddenly, the skulls are no longer on the mesh in creation kit, and the saddle doesn't show up at all in game. I'm new with nifskope so I dunno if I have to merge things or something. I don't now what I'm doing wrong, but I'm trying to make a summonable custom horses mod and I would like more than to just retexture the saddles. I'm using the Imperial saddle, stag skull, werewolf totem skulls, and troll skull (with lower jaw removed so that it won't bounce). Please help... I am at a lost as to what I'm doing wrong.
  6. Terra, I finally got it to work. I had tried to loose files, and again, they hadn't worked, so I went back in to make an entirely new .esp, duplicating the old files and then reuploading, and that finally worked. I also had the horse as its own race, and in the second, I made it part of the horse race. I think that may have been part of it. Could that have been a problem?

I only have two retextures and both have had problems downloading without being purple. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I did not make any new meshes, just textures. I am using creation kit and the wolf and the horse show up in game and in creation kit just fine for me, no errors of problems, but when someone downloads them, I have had people say that the textures are not there. I am troubleshot them this morning on other games and sure enough, the mods are working perfectly, expect for the textures. I archived my .bsa files, which I am assuming are the problem, from Creation kit several times. I have even set up the download to mimick the Skyrim files itself: Data>Textures>Actor>Character>File for dds. files. Nothing has changed this problem. I have tried working with the textures more, with and without minimaps, but nothing seems to be working correctly. I really need help. I want to mod, I want to create working characters, but nothing I seem to do works. There is not any extra scripting in Lynch the WarHorse. Other than his aggressiveness, he primarily copies the ENCBlackSaddledHorse. I have made sure that I followed the steps used by the game with the n. files and sk. files that are needed to render the textures. I have made sure that all addons, armours, and outfits refer back to each others. I am out of ideas as to what I am doing wrong.
