  1. Wanted to bring this back up to the top, since we've gotten some early versions of SKSE64 being released. :) (If I'm not allowed to bump please just yell at me. sorry.) No but really, I'd love this mod ported to SSE.
  2. I suppose, but like I said it's all based on your own play-through style and preferences. I like a fully immersive mod style where fast traveling is off, and living off the wild is a bare minimum in order to survive. I tried the Vampire mod you mentioned (if it's the one I'm thinking it is) but personally I like Better Vampires a bit more.
  3. I think it's mostly based on your playstyle. I like to ignore the main questline for as long as possible so I use Alternative Start - Live Another Life, but the major mods I can't play without would be these. SkyUI A Quality World Map and Solstheim Map - With Roads Immersive Armors Immersive Weapons Skyrim HD - 2k Textures Unofficial Skyrim Patch (and all DLC patches, depending on which DLC you have.) Enhanced Blood Textures Cloaks of Skyrim Climates Of Tamriel - Weather - Lighting - Audio Enhanced Lights and FX Wet and Cold Immersive HUD - iHUD Frostfall - Hypothermia Camping Survival Immersive Patrols Enhanced Camera Bandolier - Bags and Pouches Better Vampires (If you plan to do a vampire playthrough it's a must have.) WARZONES 2015 - Civil Unrest I'm sure there are tons of others, but these are pretty much always my first installations. (Also any and all mods that are required to get these to work, just read the mods descriptions.
  4. The main thing about the remastered version is the 64-bit update. Skyrim currently is a 32-bit game and thus can only run on about 4GB of RAM and just seems janky and old. With the remastered you'll have much more stability and performance increases, plus it will keep the game alive even longer. Anyone have anything else to add?
  5. If you normally get 60fps with the capper, you're fine to add mods and keep the capper on. It doesn't matter what your total framerate is, but since you said you can get 120fps then you'll have no problem with 60fps capper with mods. Anything above 60fps and the engine will start bugging out, throwing stuff around and causing character jump issues. Since you have the computer specs to run 120fps without the capper, you're fine to add mods. You'll probably still get 60fps with rare dips in fps. (if any dips at all.)
  6. Actually it looks like I fixed it, but I don't really know what I did. I changed the 2k Full pack to the LITE version and kept the shadows on high like normal. It runs smoothly at 60fps and I haven't had a crash from playing for about 4 hours straight last night. I'll update this post if I figure out what I did to fix this. haha
  7. Hey! I know there's already a ton of these threads out and I tried looking through them to see if a working fix was mentioned, but nothing I've found seems to do it. I'm thinking my issue may actually be with my VRAM or perhaps the high shadows in settings. Alright so when I load into Skyrim it runs perfectly, I load into a save and it's still going smooth... it's only when I leave a city of cave system than I start having issues. I've noticed this CTD issue about 15 times right outside Whiterun. I've run my load order through BOSS, Loot, and have even manually checked through it. I've done all I can with what limited knowledge I have on this subject. The only thing I can find is my 2k HD mod is running on too much VRAM or the shadows are broken in my outside map. I've tested this all on a new save multiple times, mind you. Alright now onto the mods load order itself. http://i.imgur.com/W64jwIA.pngKeep in mind RSChildren_PatchNEC.esp isn't a multi entry, it's the same load order, I just used it as a reference to screenshot.http://i.imgur.com/hjg8Aag.png I was using the Full version of Skyrim 2K HD mod but decided to move over to the LITE version and keep my shadows up on high and I'm getting about 60fps or so solid. My PC specs are as followed, in case that helps. Operating SystemWindows 7 64-bit CPUAMD FX-8320RAM16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3MotherboardASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. 8. I'm 20 right now, started playing moddable games when I was about 12 or so with Oblivion and Morrowind.
