I think that a bow and arrow will be a good addtion to the few thrown weapons in the game. The reason for using these over throwing spears will be a matter of range, DT and accuracy with sights. A weapon like this would also be a good addition to any type of ninja weapons kit. Mods, like scopes would be a natural choice for the weapon itself, but special ammo like poisoned arrows or arrows with explosives attached would add variety to the base weapon.

I can't find the perk owner tab. Where should I be looking?

What do I need to do so that the perk Commando applies to Big Guns?
