  1. Hi everyone, I hope I'm posting this in the right place (I think I am). So I installed and downloaded and installed a variety of mods, which I'll list later. Before installing the mods I started up Oblivion to see if it worked and to get the .ini file for editing, so there were no errors to begin with. All of the mods I downloaded and installed were done so with Wrye Bash, and I got the necessary compatibility patches. BOSS reported no problems and sorted my load order, I used TES4Edit to clean the necessary mods (not the ones that shouldn't be cleaned), and finally I built a bashed patch. When I went to start Oblivion through Steam (I got the appropriate loader for obse and steam) the launcher came up, I pressed play, the launcher closed and nothing happened. The game didn't load, my computer didn't freeze up, no message boxes or errors listed. So I completely uninstalled and reinstalled Oblivion, tried launching the game and the same thing occurred. I enabled the crash dump logger in obse and it created a .dmp file, but I'm not sure how to read it. If necessary I could attach it? My mod list and load order is in the spoiler. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated, and please let me know if there's any more information I can provide. Thanks heaps!
  2. Hi all, I recently had a problem with my installation of Oblivion (with mods) which led to a complete reinstall and updating of my mod setup. Everything seemed to be going well, however I am met with CTDs at seemingly random intervals. They are almost always apparent when I enter the Waterfront District through the Imperial Tunnels (in Better Cities), occasionally when I try to talk to NPCs, when I equip or unequip items, or when an NPC enters or leaves a building. I've fiddled around with the Oblivion Stutter Remover.ini in accordance with my system, but no luck. I'm wondering if it is to do with my load order? I've posted it below, along with my system specs, which I thought were more than adequate. Any help would be great, and please let me know if any other information is needed from me. Also I'm sorry (in advance) for Thanks! Load Order System Specs *UPDATE* CTDs are now happening whenever I leave character creation with the Alternate Beginnings Mod. I choose a starting location and regardless of where I choose, the game crashes once the loading bar has reached about 3 quarters. I uninstalled some of less 'important' mods, such as Natural Habitat, Ravens and Seagulls, and Alive Waters in the hope that it might make a difference--no such luck. Really frustrating as there's not much indication of what the problem could be.
  3. I'm sorry for the late reply. I seem to have fixed this particular issue simply by doing a complete reinstall of the game (with updated mods). I got the updated Better Cities and OOO v1.6 (I think). Now I'm having several other problems which are unrelated to this one, which I might have to make a separate thread for. But thank you for your assistance!
  4. Hi all, Today I finally finished following (more or less) the instructions for the Mythic Dawn mod setup for Oblivion. Everything looks great except there is a major issue in the Imperial City Waterfront. I'm not sure if it's because I'm doing something wrong (as in, I've got a conflicting mod) or if there is a problem with the setup. If someone could guide me as to what to do, it would be greatly appreciated. The screenshot I've attached shows what that the walkways through the waterfront are missing, but so are the ships, the stairs are misaligned, and doors are not attached to walls. My load order is as follows: http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff455/fundamentalnail/2015-08-21_00004.jpg
