  1. Sorry to bump this old thread, but wanted to say thanks. Also, this works for the special edition. Thanks Akezhar! The dragon mound in Evergreen was bugged too, and your solution fixed it for me. For anyone else, here is the list of Dragon Mound editor ids and their corresponding reference id. You can find a dragon mound's editor id from uesp.net/maps/srmap/srmap.shtml DragonMoundFallForest01Marker FDAD7 DragonMoundFallForest02Marker FDB32 DragonMoundFallForest03Marker FDADC DragonMoundPineForest01Marker FDB05 DragonMoundPineForest02Marker FDAF1 DragonMoundPineForest03Marker FDB02 DragonMoundReach01Marker FDB1D DragonMoundReach02Marker FDAE6 DragonMoundReach03Marker FDB23 DragonMoundSnowy01Marker FDB0E DragonMoundTundra02Marker FDB11 DragonMoundTundra04Marker FDAF8 DragonMoundTundraMarsh01Marker FDAC1 DragonMoundTundraMarsh02Marker FDAD4 DragonMoundTundraMarsh03Marker FDB2E DragonMoundVolcanicTundra01Marker FDB35 DragonMoundVolcanicTundra02Marker FDB37 DragonMoundVolcanicTundra03Marker FDB3A
  2. Thanks Lonewolfz. That worked for me. I wish I could use pleasant UI, though. I like my UI to be small. Anway, I appreciate your help.
  3. Well, checking the script logs has helped. It was indeed a scripting error. It turned out to be the Mark and Recall spell that was causing most of the problem, if not entirely. I deleted all the mark and recall script files in the data/scripts folder and the esp file, however, the log indicates that the program is still trying to reference them. Is there another location I might need to edit in order to entirely remove these script references?
  4. Thank you for the reply. I'll try both of these suggestions.
  5. So, something started to go terribly wrong about 10 hours into my second character build: http://imageshack.us/a/img198/1063/savefiles.png Here is my mods list: http://imageshack.us/a/img855/2583/loadorder.png Something is terribly wrong when save file size jumps from 4,000 KB to 225,000 KB in 5 game hours. My game kept freezing up, and I now know why it is freezing up. I just don't know what would cause this ridiculous increase in file size. Any ideas on the problem here?
  6. Morrowind does have Mark & Recall, Divine Intervention and Almsivi Intervention. Good old times. Morrowind had an awesome transportation system. Boats, mark/recall, silt striders, teleportation from all the mages' guilds and if you completed a quest, you could teleport using the propylon index. I hate using fast travel. It ruins the immersion.
  7. I absolutely agree, OP. It would be nice to have boats and also carriages in every town.
  8. Something like that would actually be pretty cool. Just anything that fit with the lore and gave more options for traveling.
  9. I will preface this by saying that I love Skyrim. It's a wonderfully realized fantasy world with plenty of detail. That said, my one major gripe with the game is the travel system. Okay...horses and horse-drawn carriages are good and fine to a point, but still, the travel system in Skyrim is highly lacking in my opinion. I understand that the devs perhaps wanted to encourage traveling the world and seeing what there is to see, and thus limited the means of transportation, but there are definitely situations when you don't want to have to walk half way across the world and back just to speak with someone and sell some loot. Morrowind did it perfectly. Silt Striders, the boat systems, mage guild teleportation, mark and recall spells and the Propylon index. You still had to walk and explore, but the options were there to travel long distances, often times using several different methods of travel to get there. It felt real. Sure, you can just click on an icon on the map and fast travel if you want to in Skyrim, but that completely breaks the immersion. It doesn't feel like a real living world with working transportation systems when you use fast travel. It would be nice to have more than just carriage-drawn horses in the major holds. Are transportation mods for Skyrim on others' minds like they are in mine? I just think that is a big thing missing from Skyrim.
  10. So, there is no readme with the file. The quest looks interesting, but I can't progress. Is there an actual opening to the city? I cannot find ANYTHING on google.
  11. I'm interested in tweaking the surface of the water. I'm using the realistic water mod. Here is my concern. After a certain distance, the choppy surface of the waves disappear and just look very smooth. Almost like glass. Is there a way to increase the distance at which the choppy surface/waves can be viewed? Thanks.
  12. Oops. Yes, I'm using a custom race. I forgot I needed a fix. It's been a couple of years since I've played. Thank you.
  13. So, my new game starts just fine. The intro plays through. I create my character and walk around in my cell. The problem is, the guards and the emperor never come to get me. The prisoner across the hall from me also won't speak, which I know is supposed to happen. Anyone know what the problem may be? Anyone familiar with this glitch?
  14. Yes, that's it. I knew it was something really simple. Thank you for your help.
