  1. Title. There are so many mod descriptions and forum posts all over the place that are outdated and still use tesnexus links to mods. For instance, the description of this mod has a link to another mod that uses this URL: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15517, when the correct URL is this: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/15517/. Clicking it just sends me to the main page, so I have to manually type the URL, every single time. Surely it can't be difficult to just redirect the URL, since the string of numbers on the end stays the same. I mention Oblivion, but I'm sure it's the same for older mods from all of the games. Thanks in advance.
  2. I don't know Skyrim's mechanics well enough to know if this is possible, so this entire post may be irrelevant. I would like Skyrim to operate in real time, synced up with actual time. Akin to Animal Crossing, for those that have played that. If you have played Animal Crossing, you know what I'm talking about so this should make sense. For those that haven't, I'll explain. The game basically runs on your system clock, and time passes whether you play or not. If you run the game at 4 in the morning, it will be 4 in the morning in Skyrim's world. If you stop playing for 3 weeks, 3 weeks will have passed when you next play. Time would run at the same speed as real life, so days would actually take 24 real hours to pass. I know you can use the console to slow the game down to real speed, but that isn't really what I'm looking for. This of course would eliminate waiting and sleeping in their current form. I don't really see how waiting could be incorporated, so it would have to be disabled, but sleeping could work as it does in Animal Crossing. To stop playing in Animal Crossing, you would have to go to your house to save and exit. If you shut the game off without saving, you would be greeted by an angry NPC to scold you. Skyrim could work in a similar fashion. To stop playing, you would have to return to your purchased house, or a bed, and sleep. This would save your progress so you can quit. Another potential problem would be fast traveling. As it is now, time goes by when you fast travel. That wouldn't work if this mod was made, so fast traveling would either have to be removed (for hardcore players only), or it would have to not pass time. This would probably require rewriting of a LOT of the games script, but I can't even begin to guess how much. If this is possible, I think I know how it could be done. Basically the game would check your system time on startup, then "wait" until the right time before starting. This would jump all of the NPCs schedules and whatnot to the right time, then just continue at real speed, as in the game speed console command. Thoughts? Questions? Comments? Concerns?
  3. Awesome! Thanks!
  4. I would like to know if there's a way to copy an NPCs face and use it on my character. More specifically, I'd like to use Serana's face for my character. Is this possible? I tried searing for a thread like this, but could only find people asking to copy their character's face onto an NPC.
  5. ummmm...get to the end of dawnguard and shoot the sun...then you don't have to deal with the sun... That's not permanent.
  6. I want to be a vampire, but having to deal with the sun's negative effects is just annoying. I just want something that leaves everything else about vampires the same, just the weakness to sunlight is removed. Thanks in advance.
