Hi can anyone tell me why I suddenly have Dark Brotherhood assassins after me?
Who has my character upset to warrant contracts for their elimination?
I understand the Bounty Hunters since another of my characters was always doing bad stuff and getting bounties but my other characters a total saint. Is like the Talon Company/Regulators from Fallout 3 all over again? That would be weird since I didn't think Skyrim had any form of Karma meter.

Hi everyone.
Is there a possiblity of a mod or even a console command that stops Belethor's assistant in Whiterun from speaking. Everytime I go with 10 feet of this guy I hear the same old line: "I work for Belathor at Belethor's Goods Store". Does this NPC think I'm some sort of ignorant moron that I didn't understand him the first time?
While I'm on the subject of NPC's my character got married and chose to live in an inn and I hear stupid lines from the locals like "I don't think you belong here" or "What can I do for you stranger". Hello I only live here now you idiots. I really wish someone could fix all the annoying dialogue that occurs in this game.
I thought Bethesda claimed that they'd sorted this issue, at times its like Oblivion cardboard cut out NPC's all over again. Well at least the frozen stares are gone. lol.

Hi, you go to your mod's page, then press "files" to the right (right below "edit attributes"), and then you can see a green big button that says "upload new file"

Hi. Could anyone please tell me how to update my submitted mod file on Nexus to the newest version.
Since this is the first time I've uploaded a mod before I'm not sure how to do it.

They use raw program data. But you can still easily replace textures and models etc. even without the Creation Kit. Sure, it's about as lowtech as coding in notepad, but that's all you got till the Creation Kit comes out.
First of all thanks the answer. Other hand do you know in the older games like oblivion did they give export options in they editor for softwares like max or maya? Did those mods what are already out about just texture changes? What is about the render mode changer plugins? how did they made those? Anyway how can i change a model and import it into Skyrim? For example how can i change a blade mesh? I mean how to import the mesh to maya, and after retopology i change uv and retexture it, than how to import into Skyrim?
In regard to Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. First of all you need to extract the meshes which are in the nif format. Then you need an importer for Max/Maya etc. Heres the link to the site that produces it:

I use the Max one but I assume theres a Maya one too. In regard to swapping weapons and textures over a lot of that can be done in Nifskope, another program which can be found on the site link.
The issue regarding Skyrim at the moment is that the team have not had time to make a new version of the importer or Nifskope at present due to the new format of the Skyrim meshes, they are nifs but they've been changed to some degree. I would just be patient and give them some time since its a lot of work for them. Plus with no Creation Kit available yet people have been using the Fallout Mod Manager to unpack the Skyrim textures and work on them since this is the only real modwork going on at present.

I get it in Breezehome and a veeeery small amount of other places - can't remember exactly where, sorry, but yep. Breezehome seems to give almost everyone weird shadow bugs. Let's just hope Bethesda fixes all these graphics issues people are getting. Weird shadows, see-through creatures with transparency AA, horrible waterfall LODs...

Could you clarify please is that a "yes" you're experiencing the issue?
Or "Yes" its the Breezehome location?

Its definately an LOD issue. Even changing the number of Ugrids to load in Skyrim ini doesn't completely solve the problem and just increases the demand put on the system.
I've also observed static waterfalls in the distance that were actually missing the water at the base of them on occasion, it is unfortunately very ugly. Its possible the next update may fix it, however I think its more likely a modder will have to address this when the Creation Kit becomes available.

Hi.
Is anyone else getting weird shadow contours in Breezehome? The problem is most obvious when stood near the door, but is also noticeable when stood near the firepit.
I don't get this problem anywhere else in game, is there a way to fix it? Or is it just a problem with the Breezehome player home?

I agree suggestion 5 would really add to immersion.
Also I'm in favour of the horse mods too. The auto attack is stupidly annoying and finding the horse after it finally realises it can't take on a dragon and runs away is a real pain.

Well while I thought the new vampire system was something of an improvement on Oblivion's one its still very limited. I like the fact that you can move around during the day for once, with reduced powers but the one criminal aspect of the game is that after becoming a vampire you can't go and join a vampire faction.
Yes thats right no faction. Plus even entering a vampire lair you are still regarded as an enemy even if you're a vampire. Seriously dumb oversight by Bethesda.
I wouldn't mind so much the fact that there are no actual vampire PC quests beyond finding a cure but at least they could have given you the option to at least talk or trade with other vampires and use their lairs as a hideout. For some reason Bethesda are really half hearted when people want to roleplay evil characters take the whole Necromancer faction issue in Oblivion and now in Skyrim and no I don't think a Necromancy perk on the conjuration table is sufficient. Given how the karma meter has finally been dropped I expected more.
So joining a vampire faction or at least using their lairs is something I want to see. As well as a possible become ethereal or smoke perk similar to the Dragon shout ability for people who don't want to follow the main quest. The ability to summon wolves would be cool as well as the potential to turn NPC's into vampires too.

This idea sounds brilliant. I was thinking of something like this while braving a blizzard around Dawnstar. The only problem is you'd need to slow the game speed down or you could have several blizzards occuring and then this idea would become frustrating. However its a cool concept I'd love to see implemented along with Winter clothing and equipment.

You really should play though the vanilla game first then see what things you feel need "fixing" before you download a ton of mods. If you must have some mods at this stage, than you can't go wrong with Project Nevada or New Vegas Bounties 1 and 2.

Hello everyone.
I created a whole batch of armors/outfits a while ago. All the meshes are made by me or use vanilla items. With the exception of a couple of items made by Bronson who I will of course credit if I release this. They are all based on the type 3 body by Dimon, are rigged and have dismemberment.
I don't have a lot of confidence when it comes to my own work. So I'm looking for feedback regarding this. Basically is it worth uploading yet another FNV mod?
I've attached some examples. I have around 25 armors/outfits made and around 12 items of headgear and assorted jewellery.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

DXTC 5 for a normal map. DXTC 3 also works if the alpha channel is very basic.
