  1. Yea I just checked the version at the main menu, and your right...I'm up to date. Thanks! BTW, how can I Officially close or end this topic now that I know that I am up to date? EDIT by LHammonds: Only a moderator can close a topic or delete posts.
  2. In your article, you say "If you have a pirate version, sorry about your luck. Don't be so cheap, buy the game." I have another N00b question about that...what if I pirated the GOTY edition from a website, downloaded it through Bit Torrent, uninstalled the whole thing, reinstalled the entire GOTY edition FROM the LEGALLY bought CD's, and only had the pirated features still considered "Pirated"? I ask because I did just that...How can I get a *Working* patch for the game? And I personally am NOT cheap, I payed the full price of the game at Best Buy...the "Features" that came with the pirated copy are all of the DLC for Oblivion...I resorted to these methods because I had to pay for them on http://www.theelderscrolls.com but they never sent the download link or whatever it is that actually installs it on the computer. Basically, they cheated us out of some of our money. That's the one and ONLY reason that I pirated the game...the legal copy is currently the one installed and used.
  3. I know that this is probably a stupid N00b question, but here it is: Can anyone help me figure out why, when I try to update Oblivion to the newest patch (1.2.0146), it gets to 50% and then has an error saying "Old file not Found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents don't match." I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 32-Bit Edition; 4 GB RAM; AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ running at 2.60GHz; and my graphics card is an NVidia GeForce 210. any help or useful suggestions are welcome! Please Help!!
