  1. yeh none of that helped I have not modded either oblivion or fallout in a while and I think it has something to do with my system
  2. I have been having a problem lately with bethesda games, whenever I press a key a little black bar appears at the corner of the screen, sometimes when I press the mouse rapidly the computer beeps, and the games have become increasingly slower and less responsive. I have a Nvidia 8800 and its not the driver, because I have the most current for my card Additional Details ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 5/1/2010, 09:05:55 Machine name: SEWARD-DFF08535 Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_qfe.100216-2016) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Dell Inc. 4. this is a topic for anyone who is ending there Oblivion modding career Since the elder scrolls 5 game is supposed to be announced this year its probably a good time to be finishing off I am deciding to end my modding career with a bang, with what I hope to be my best modd air island how are you gonna end you Oblivion modding career?
  5. I did that with a goblin and I am trying to do it for all the other animals http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbrnAmjWfuc
  6. I am just wondering because I see all these unnecessarily long and gigantic armor and weapons that wouldn't be practical if it were medieval times (yeh I know its fake), but that is about the time frame are there actually weapons that are realistic?
  7. I am currently working on a mod that involves a talking animal and whenever I try to talk to them the camera zooms in on their torso instead of their head? does anyone know the node that the camera is supposed to zoom in on?
  8. yeh they were both object scripts and I think that might have been the problem thanks
  9. Did you put the object you want him to pick up under the location or target? if you put in under location just put in under target then go to location and select current location and no he cannot lockpick, but I have made a way for creatures to be able to talk
  10. ok well I dont have any trouble right this second, but I do remember an old script that I had that didn't process all the way ref self short var begin gamemode set self to placeatme.item self.disable end I did this and it just kept putting the item and not disabling I did have one more script that was very complicated, but under some function I had player.moveto (forget where) and player.enablecontrols and all that it did was move me somewere I couldn't do anything else
  11. why don't you just try to make new LOD and save over the old
  12. for the longest time I have been having trouble with scripts whenever I save them more than one I put different lines in, but none of them process has anyone else had this problem and if so how do I fix it?
  13. yeh i did the havok sim in the construction set, and I think it may be the properties, because I took it from another mesh so ill check that on nifskope
  14. ok so I have been having this problem with collision on two objects I made a gear and a rock I tested out the objects in the CS and it did not have any problems, but when I go into the game they stuck in the floor wherever I put them this is not the first time I have done collision so I do know how to do it correctly, but I have no idea what is wrong ps. the collision for the objects are relatively simple
  15. this is for the construction set for Oblivion if you go under landscape edit (or something like that) and go to the last landscape texture on the list and hit down the construction set will crash
