  1. Well upon hitting 60% Fan Speed at my Current Settings the Temperature Dropped to 29C on both cards I have disabled all AF and AA and Pre-Loading on NCP I am also reset my INI back to the default ULTRA setting that my card was assigned to and I shall work up from there. Posted CPU Settings: Intel Core i7 Sandy Bridge 32mm Fabrication Specification: Intel Core i7-2600K @3.40 GHz Cores: 4 Threads: 8
  2. I will give it a shot, but I never see my cards exceed 59 C why playing any game and my fans are running at 40% Capacity.
  3. Technical Notes before I jump in game: You guys wondered what default specs I was running on my cards I pulled up my Inspector and copied the data over to here to show you guys to get a better idea of what my cards are putting out right now NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti (0) GPU Clock: 823 MHz Memory Clock: 2004MHz Shader Clock: 1645MHz Voltage: 1.012V NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti (1) GPU Clock: 850 MHz Memory Clock: 2100MHz Shader Clock: 1700MHz Voltage: 1.00V Driver Version: GeForce 314.07 WHQL Again SLI is Disabled Via NVIDIA Control Panel and I have unplugged my 2 side monitors leaving my main monitor attached. Heading in game to note graphic hiccups and I will let you guys know how it goes. EDIT UPDATE: For one I noticed I double posted sorry about that, Upon entering the game I noticed smooth gameplay for a minute or two facing a certain direction and usually after talking to someone and then Horrible FPS that doesn't improve for a while and a moment of smooth gameplay for about 20 seconds and then back to bad FPS Z-Fighting is still ever so present in the game (IE the White Dots version of it) the more severe Z-Fighting however is gone (IE Overlayering IE Doors Flickering and Buildings, Plants, Pipboy, Barrels, Armor, Crates, Fences all appear to have stopped randomly flickering and that is progress :D ) Random Grey Lines Coming from a Single Point and Attacking me So To Speak has also Disappeared (See Skyrim Reference Post for Example) My Observances on this is if we can fix up my FPS Rate to a Smooth Level I can then Use DynaVision to hide the Z-Fighting, Savy? I shall await your reply.
  4. I am going to remove my two monitors from the back, with single card running I can't run my triple-head setup anyway (Not that New Vegas Cared I always had it set to 1680x1050) and see if that works, I eased my ini settings back a bit and see if that clears up I will post back in a few minutes of testing. And isolate what problems are still occurring and we can work from there. Note: 5% Cutback on My Card didn't work.
  5. I will give it a shot, when I can but the Z-Fighting is the only issue I seem to have I attempted to replace the Distant LOD Meshes with HD ones to see if I could improve the abrupt loading of trees and grass in the distance, to no avail it killed my FPS outside. I figure I am likely at my graphical limit much to my disappointment you would think with 2x560 Ti Cards you could push the game more. I will give the one card underclock a try. @SMB92 let me know how the replication goes I am uses a ini with heavy graphical settings and NMC's texture pack (Full) if that helps you.
  6. You see the white dots, it gets worse as you move around and in daylight, along but building edges flashes of light (that aren't flashes of light but white boxes that appear suddenly and give a glinting effect like the sun glinting off a sniper scope) Note: This is not my image but it is the closest I could find to show you as whenever I take a picture of it no longer shows up on the screenshot. http://i897.photobucket.com/albums/ac171/B_Carmine/PC/FalloutNV2010-10-2021-46-13-05.jpg
  7. Ok, That resolves another issue, I am not noticing anymore crazy things in game after turning off my SLI (I found the option though it tends to lock up my PC when I turn it off and I have to restart -_- but anyway) But I still have stuttering around buildings (IE flickering like it is low quality) and lots of white dots and the occasional white box way off in the distance. But the gameplay is smooth. Any suggestions? I likely will head back inside the game to screen cap it.
  8. Well I can try disabling the SLI but I doubt it will make a difference since if I turn off SLI the SLI really isn't turned off it just goes into performance mode and works as SLI with 1 monitor instead of 3. But I will give it a shot if nothing else I will turn off SLI hardware side and see if that works but then I have 2 Graphics cards working on the same game.
  9. Well, it looked good for a few seconds I noticed a bad lag that suddenly started up so I tried a clean save I proceeded out the door to find the same lag and a graphical glitch that reminds me of a problem I used to have on Skyrim seeing as all the shots I took of the glitch aren't showing up in the screenshot I am referencing my skyrim screenshots to what the problem looked like. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/914579-funky-problems-with-skyrim-and-help-with-sli-triple-monitor/&do=findComment&comment=7335264 This problem happened in Skyrim, The problem remains unresolved I ended up re-installing skyrim and had no issues since. The glitch is the same as the pictures referenced only the laz0rbeams were grey instead of purple, blue or green Any further suggestions are appreciated it appears that ENB was causing the transparency problem but it looks like the root of the problem is still existing.
  10. Alright here is some information, all diagnosis requires back in forth you need information I have not posted and I can provide it, proving someone asks. I have 98 mods installed including the DLC's and Master File I am not running Overclocked on my GPU it is strictly stock NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti SLI setup I have the exact same amount in my Data folder I do not have any extra *.esp or *.esm files stored in my data folder. Armor and Buildings Go Transparent meaning I can see that they are there but they are see through, armor is also see through meaning I can see the ground through my armor. Sometimes it is Semi-Transparent meaning I can still see the armor other times it is fully disappeared but flickers letting you know that it is there. Wondering about other games question: My GPU appears to be fine I run Far Cry 3 across 3 Monitors using SLI just fine (But don't get any ideas I am only using 1 monitor for FNV) and Hitman Absolution, Tomb Raider 2013 they all run fine. Unrelated but may be pertinent: Upon Quitting the Game The Game Does: (A)Crashes Despite I was the one to quit the game and give Microsoft Error (B)Freezes the Game Upon Quitting, Task Manager Needed to End Process I was working with someone in chat and I use FNVEdit using something like FNVmasterload or something like that and masterrestore upon renaming it back to FNVEdit and attempted to apply Filter my application crashed, same with Merged Patch Don't know if that will help but I hope to here back to diagnosis my issue further.
  11. I am having problems like this and also happen to have buildings suddenly go transparent, armor vanish only to return after I turn around or walk around, Fences or buildings flickering until I get really close to them, white boxes that look like flashes from a distance but soon vanish, tiny white dots on objects that move as I move. Among other problem. I am using Fallout NV 4GB Enabler, NMC's Texture Pack and ENB but I am wondering how problems like this are causes and a possible fix I run SLI 560 TI Graphics Cards and 16 GB of Ram with my I7-2600K and a Modified ini using New Vegas Configurator If anyone has any idea what the issue is please feel free to reply. I can jump into the game and get other pictures if you wish. http://i45.tinypic.com/v5zbz6.jpg
  12. Let me clairfy this. I was mispoken in saying they had a responisbility. All I am asking for is a more efficent system to keep the flow of Technical Issues going I feel that if I work for 2+ hours helping people with technical issues I shouldn't be buried in resolved threads trying to find someone to help. They should be vanished from my sight so I may continue on with my good will. and I also feel (after noticing this) there should at least be a sticky with Frequent Problems and Their Solutions to avoid people flooding the channel with: Fallout 3 is refusing to open and crashes witha error xlive.dll this is the most common one I see daily. There is 3 different ways to fix this problem and they all are simple. There is no reason for people to have to open a thread to get the answer a glance at a solutions and fixes sticky and they can get to playing and leave the forum a cleaner place.
  13. @bben46 you should really make a sticky with the solutions to these easy problems. But the harsh reality is it probably won't stop them from posting a thread anyway.
  14. I don't see where he posted anything about not being the Administrator of his computer. dusty here are some tips: 1: Give us the readout of the error message 2. It is also helpful to post in the Nexus Mod Manager Forum after reviewing the Troubleshooting Guide most of the problems can be resolved using that guide. If you have any further question feel free to post a response and someone or me will get back to you.
  15. Yes, GFWL the version installed by the game tends to not work at all http://www.microsoft.com/games/en-gb/live/pages/livejoin.aspx Just download the client and the message should clear and the game should launch just fine. There is also a GFWL Remover on the Fallout 3 Nexus that fixes the issue as well.
  16. GFWL can also be installed via Microsoft's website to keep functionality of the LIVE system and repairs that error. Fallout 3 was not designed for Windows 7 as such setting the game in System Compatibility for Windows XP SP3 helps stop a lot of issues related to the game. Thread is: [Resolved]
  17. Have you cleaned your dirty DLC's yet? I have hear that it can fix a lot of issues with slowdowns your game is trying to process a poorly made DLC and can possibly slow you game down. Also Belial666 is spot on about the save game files check you size of your file. Also if possible please post a BOSS log file for us to see if some modification could be conflicting with the introduction of the dragonborn dlc. I also suggest you attempt a clean save to see if the slow downs can be isolated to just the Dragonborn DLC.
  18. @TLymond I spend a great deal of my free time fixing other peoples games as to me solving issues is fun. I really don't care much about the user themselves I just like to solve issues. If I fix a problem I would like the thread to be moved away from the pending requests that way we can get to the issues that need our attention rather than wading through threads that have been resolved. If someone has a problem they can go through the resolved threads to find the solution rather than getting several threads that are still pending help. If a user has self resolved their issue they can post how they fixed it before removing it. It frustrates me to see a user come onto chat asking for help after waiting several weeks and no one has even glanced that their post because it is on page 9 underneath all these resolved threads.
  19. Yes it is a bug you have to wait for Bethesda to Patch it. [RESOLVED]
  20. Sounds like there was some script that corrupted your character. Possible Solution: Attempt to Load a Save before you installed the modification Alternative Fix: Start A Clean Save. Usually there isn't any issues with your removing mods from the game but scripts linked to your character can have adverse effects this is why it is is a good idea to save before you install a mod. a trick is open console save "FileName" to have a custom name on your saves IE: save "Pre-XCE Save"
  21. I see it now I speed read and jump words and I missed the "Finally resolved it" Glad to see you fixed your issue. It is strange that a texture was overwriting your texture and only showed up upon loading the save. [Resolved Thread]
  22. Do you have a B.O.S.S Logfile? and if you can do a quick clean save to see if the problem occurs in vanilla we might be able to narrow the problem to a mod or skyrim itself.
  23. Before Registry Fix: 3 Parked Cores on i7-2600K After Registry Fix: 0 Parked Cored Before CPU Usage Skyrim: 38% After Fix Skyrim: 10% Overall I say this is pure gold, Glad to see the registry fixes are coming back like the old XP days. Still Waiting to Field Strip my Windows 7 x64 Bit Ultimate to remove some of the junk that isn't needed. I recommend Sticky Note: THIS ONLY APPLIES TO CPU'S WITH 2 OR MORE CORE AND 2 OR MORE LOGICAL CORES IE the i7's for example.
