Would a mod that makes berries/mushrooms/thistles plantable so I can create a farm with them, be currently possible ? The modding scene is still quite new and I don't know if in it's current state it is possible to do so.

But the problem would be that I have to fill up the resource again if it runs out and I don't want to do it all the time.

I would like to suggest a machine (contraptions workshop) which can create items from power. To change what's created you would have to place the item into the inventory of the machine. I got this idea since I kept running out of material and wanted to create big massive factories which process massive amounts of material. I would love if someone would turn this into reality.
