  2. Actually, it sounds pretty intriguing. The reality is even if you make something disney-esque, full of love and light, SOMEone will not like it. Unless your mod clearly goes against the Nexus file upload TOS, I don't know why it wouldn't be ok to create it. You could always add a disclaimer like they do on the movies. You know...."all characters in this film are fiction, not related or meant to impersonate any persons living or dead..."

Even some of the existing quests in vanilla oblivion have some disturbing and disturbed folks/incidents depicted. The only thing I've seen protested here on a large scale was something to do with a mod dealing with children. So I'd definitely and rightly so, leave references to any child violence or child sexual content out.

You should peruse the existing mods. There are some pretty wild things out there already, so your idea doesn't sound outlandish or that bad.

I hope the site mods/admin weigh in on it. I'd be interested in seeing your finished product as well. Good luck with it!

    Ok,I'm gonna do it!

Since you 2 guys first responded to this,I would be more then happy if you to be the one who test it first.I'll do it tonight, and it will be done in no time. Thanks for the support!

  3. While the People of the Provinces may not see the how Ocato didn't pull Legion Forces back to cyrodiil, any Politician with half a Brain would make that clear. If the Empire needed a Campaign to strengthen support from the Citizens, they'd use that.

Provinces seceding from the Empire would be rather stupid, since the Provinces of Tamriel have more political Freedom then sovereign Nations of our World. No one would split from the Empire unless no one can be sure who can represent the Empire.

Maybe we'll get half the Provinces supporting this Aspirant to the Dragon Throne, who happens to be pure evil and puts all his Followers under a Spell or something. Or disguises himself somehow. And the unnamed Hero tips the scales for the good Guy, who has the Support of the other Provinces. The two gathered their Armies for great Battles all over the Empire. Recently "good Guy" managed to sever a support line to the Bulk of the Enemy Forces in <wherever Province the next game takes Place>, prompting a Counterstrike. The Player would have to run missions with objectives like in old ww2 shooters; Destroy this Position, possibly with a Puzzle mini game to get the Enemies Balista to fire upon a watchtower.

Of course, there will be fetchquests to get this and that magical Artifact, with which this and that can be done.

That's a nice idea, and it is similar in some aspects like the idea I have on my mind.I am tweaking it as much as possible,to build even stronger story then it already is.

Balista is something which I had on my mind since I started this 'project'.I will go for it ,for sure.

What interests me,who would support the 'evil throne chaser' ? What is your favorite race and province?Would you like to see them on his side or on the side of 'an unknown hero' ? That's the 'bone' which I want to fit in my 'skeleton'.

Watch it as a football match,or such. You have a choice to pick two teams for the game. One will be your favorite, and the other will be the one you despise.

Which would be the champion team, and who will be in the red corner?

    :)

  4. Yeah, Ardaline's face is nice to see, but my thought is that most faces in the game are made by hitting the "random face" button and doing a bit of tweaking, few faces seem to be tought about. I agree with Megatarius when he says that not all people has to be beautiful and perfect, but I'd really like them to be at least natural. I dislike most of the game faces, and when I make my charachter I try to make some good faces (even if I'm not really that good at it, but I know my way arount the FaceGen).

Going back on topic, I found nice also the face of the book seller in Bliss (SI).

    Oh,the book seller,how I could forget that? ;) Good choice! :D

I think we have a winner, though,Ardaline is leading, leaving other of her brethren in the dust.

We will see her face in another character, then,in the future.

  5. I don't think anyone in the game is attractive. They look like what they are: polygon cartoons. Relatively realistic detail, but cartoons nonetheless. Sure it's obvious that certain characters are supposed to be hot, and if it was real they would be, but I don't remember very many character faces in the game except for ones I see all the time.

Now I've made some characters that I consider attractive, but that's only because I gave them all the features I like. And I still only consider them to be fairly good approximations of what the characters are really supposed to look like.

I hate when people say they're ugly. One of the things I like about the vanilla game (there are a few things, yes) is the fact that so many of the characters are just downright plain looking. You know, like real people. The world doesn't need yet another male (or female) fantasy in which every woman is skinny and perfect and every man is tall, dark and has his shirt off all the time.

The only thing that would make the people in this game better is if there were fat people.

(Of course, the modeling and texturing, from a design standpoint, is sub par, so that can make the NPC's look bad sometimes.)

I thought I was alone ,thinking the same way here, brother.

They look 'real',mostly.Just like in reality, there are all kinds of people, ugly, pretty, fat, fit, etc.I don't mind the characters at all in game, but I would like that Bethesda payed more attention to the altmer people, because some of the women you see of their origin are just out of the place. Not even natural like in reality, some of them actually look like they popped out from David Lynch's mind (I love David though :D ),you get my point. ;)

So,what do you say?Name one of the altmer girls you liked in the game, physically.

  6. Ok,I have an idea for a quick mod

I'd call it '10 most wanted criminals of Tamriel'

What bothers me,is,that I don't want to insult anyone or to dig up someones bad memories, even.Because,I'd make this guys real nasty with some nasty background stories via notes in their inventory, like psychiatric reports, charges they had,and for what reasons, etc. When I say nasty,I mean NASTY,for real.Nasty as Critical Bill from 'Things to do in Denver when you're dead', Kevin Spacey in 'Seven' or even Ralph Ciphareto from 'Soprano's'.

So,I don't want to get reported or anything,if someone who maybe faced some similar individuals in reality feels offended by the mod content.Since is will be a companion mod for devious characters,it's really not a big thing, but I'd like to hear is it a yes or no.

    Thank you for reading. :)

    Mr. Moranda

  7. The forth era begins with the end of the Games main Quest, the closing of all the Oblivion Gates.

"I hope it's just wild talk!" Well, i do not of course, because some War would be a good Background for a new game.

"Realistically", i don't think the Citizens of any Province would like to split from the Empire after a cyrodillian Hero shattered the Jaws of Oblivion, while other Cyrodilians, like the Legion that couldn't help in Bruma, stayed right where they are and tried their best to protect People. Chancellor Ocato didn't pull the Legion back from wherever they where to protect his own Ass, he left them where they are to protect the People from the "dire Situation in all of Tamriel".

People in the Provinces may not like the Legion all that much, but they just saw that they wont be pulled out when the mainprovince is in Danger.

Furthermore, the Provinces have autonomy. So much so, that their Laws widely. Their Politics are vastly different from one another and the Empire doesn't attempt to roll over everything; this is of course because bethesda wants to be able to create different things in every game; if they want the Player to be able to use Necromancy, Necromancy is legal in whatever Province the next game takes Place. If the next game takes place in "Valenwood" and Bethesda decides that Necromancy is used as Source of Power for whoever will be the Badguy, Necromancy will be illegal in Valenwood.

The Provinces can do whatever they want, they enjoy pretty good trade Relations and are left alone whenever they want. They make their own laws and they even have the Freedom to settle Disputes among themselves by themselves. "Nord Warriors are trying to capture the whole of Solstheim!".

    And they have Protection.

Splitting away from the Empire would be a pretty stupid move. The Legion would pull out and everything trade related will be more expensive.

I understand that the provinces have certain amounts of autonomy,so they can deal with their problems on their own, without the Legions fingers involved in it much. And yes,the 4th Era began when the oblivion crisis came to an end.But you can here right after, talking with the legion members and citizens, that the 'oblivion crisis are ended, but at what cost?' Land without an emperor to rule over it and taking care of his people.

You know that old one 'When the cat isn't at home, rats are out for a dance' ;)

I like the idea of Tamriel turmoil as an aftermath of Martin's death.

Chancellor Ocato didn't pull the Legion back from wherever they where to protect his own Ass, he left them where they are to protect the People from the "dire Situation in all of Tamriel".

^^^ I agree on that one,but maybe other poeple from the other provinces doesn't share the same opinion on that matter.I mean,in reality you have people of all kinds. All kinds of ideas and movements, with their own goals. Some of them will obey the current situation and carry on with their lives, some will not,and they'll seek for fulfilling their own interest.

Splitting away from the Empire would be a pretty stupid move. The Legion would pull out and everything trade related will be more expensive.

Well said. ^^^ But,as I've said, some people would sacrifice everything they can for reaching their own destination wished. ;)

What I would like to hear,if you want to provide of course,an answer more accurate to my questions I have asked in this topic.

'If' they wanna go from the empire on their way, etc, etc.

Imagine everything I said is happening at the moment, and pick some choices I have put,or some more ideas you have.Because, everything I asked has its purpose, and means very much to me for a future thing I prepare.

  8. Let's imagine for a second that the Forth Era already began.

Some of the provinces wants to part their ways from Cyrodiil, separatism and hatred everywhere, public meetings of political movements across the empire serves for a call for war, citizens and nobility already grew distance between themselves, especially between races, based on nationality and religion especially involved, soon to erupt from the boiling point.

What would you like to see?

    1. As there are 9 provinces all together, including Cyrodiil, would you like to see an equal force more or less, between the separatists and alliance?Let's say 5:4 or 4:5 ?

And who do you think should be in alliance with Cyrodiil?

2.Maybe you think it would be better to be a little bit of impossible situation for Cyrodiil?Alone against everyone? ;)

3.Maybe they will be all united at the end to fight some...new kind of enemy?Or some ancient one?

4.What would be the biggest reason for such a situation?

    1)religion views

    2)racial discrimination

3)disagreements on political and economical base

4)greater power seek from a mad individuals

    5)a woman maybe? ;)

    6)random reason,use your imagination

5.What would be the best way to make it peace and all to be happy at the same time?

    1)brute force,war everywhere

    2)right political tactic

    3)economical reforms

4)giving more power to the peasantry and commoners

    5)giving more power to nobility

    6)giving them power equally

7)random(what kind of idea you have on your mind?)

6.When it ends, how would it end?

    1)Crowning the new emperor/empress

2)total and absolute control by an autocrat/dictator,self proclaimed leader

3)Slavery and exploatation of the former separatists, tyrant rule

4)actual separation and the empire crumbled into more republics as standalone

5)peaceful end, signed at the round table, with everyone shaking each others hands

    6)random,shoot!

7.Who would you join, and explain your reasons for your choise? ;)

    1.rogue states and rebels?

    2.alliance?

    3.Cyrodiil only?

4.joining the ancient enemy, maybe,if such exists?

This is of a great importance to me,please, give it a try.

    I put up a map too,for some inspiration. :)

  9. Well,I've done many things with a good clean save. I always reload that one since,I am not an evil character,never been.I did the killings,the theft,frenzy spells,paralyze spells,bar fights,etc. :D

I have never killed Adoring Fan before, til a few nights ago.I saw some videos of his misfortunes on youtube,so I decided to kill him in an unusual way, which was not performed by the others. ;)

I installed a mod called 'JM Bar Fight' or something like that, that mod turns cheap wine bottles and breadloafs into blunt weapons. So I gave him a good portion of merciless beatings, then I locked him and gassed him in one of those cells at Ceyatatar Gorihame.

I don't know if it is funny to others, but I literally screamed while having a laugh.

    First Era execution style! :D

  10. I voted for High Chancellor Ocato. He seems like a good guy, been there for ages, loyal to the empire, and any emperor he served under. He is educated and a skilled battlemage, does his job as best as possible at the crisis which caught the land, not to mention that there is no emperor, ass the last heir died.Of course,it is a hard thing for him as well,to hold the empire together while being targeted as a 'power-hungry' by the counts and nobility,so one more thing for admiring him. Also,he showed great respect and was on the top level of his duty when Martin came to the palace and Mr.Dagon came to play baseball with Imperial Watch.Deffo deserves a throne seat.

Oh,and, there are rumors and speculations that High Chancellor isn't an Altmer. One more + ! ;)

  11. Not playing it anymore, recently started to make my first mod, again, from the scratch.

Though,I needed a high leveled character for various testing. :) So,old one got imported :D

Her name is Rielle Aran-Kynd.Rielle means 'beauty',aran means 'king' and kynd means 'child'.I guess it goes something like 'Beautiful Child of The Royal Blood',rough translated.

Her race is Ayleid.Woke up at Elenglynn,by a couple of necromancers, who she slew on sight. The last thing she remembers is the retreating with her people to valenwood in terror from the inquisitors of the Alessian Order, back in the First Era.After the rude awakening, she went straight to the White Gold City,at the Temple Of The Ancestors, now known as 'Imperial Palace,Imperial City',and asked for an audience of the High Chancellor.Got stopped in front of the palace by two drunken guards who beaten her senselessly, naming her 'goldenrod' before signing the papers and throwing her in the city dungeon.

Currently in searching for surviving brethren,to clear the bad name of her race,by resurrecting the true Ayleid kingdom once again, which will be based on a perfect harmony with other races. She has love for everyone, despite being very shy and cold sometimes.I guess that's how those royal bloods are. :P

As a contrast to her peaceful and rather peachy look, she is a vicious warrior, brute force, swift in light armor, armed with a two handed blade, faster then the lighting. She is a very skilled healer,as well. Very much interested in art, especially sculptures, likes to take a walk from time to time by the sunken and demolished Ayleid buildings,to pay respect to the fallen ones, and to remember the glorious days. She likes a a couple of glasses of a good crafted wine, and a nice meal along with it,medium venison steak and some quality cheese, veggies and fruit on the side.

She believes in Auri-El,or Akatosh as they call the God Of All Gods in Cyrodiil today. She despise Daedra, and their foul princes, but respects their warriors as enemies of honor and discipline.Done great deeds form Tamriel, and became a hero, though, she lives pretty quiet and laid back, down to earth kind of a woman.During the sunny days, she spends her time at the Millstone Farm, with a good book, enjoying her time in a hot bath, sometimes painting as well, farming and gardening. When it gets cold, she goes to the halls of Aranmathi,to host parties and to enjoy some quality time with her friends.Collects only elven artifacts, armors and weapons, but has a trophy room filled with nord-themed and dark-themed items as well. She likes to visit Bruma, and to sit at Olav's with common people, for a nice chat and some good old Skyrim mead.Often goes to visit Countess Narina and Captain Burd, and has a nice dinner at the warm castle dinning hall.

Once a month, she goes to pray at the Temple Of The One,to pay respect to her late friend,Amrtin, the last emperor of Cyrodiil, and to recieve blessings of Akatosh, her ancestor god.

She hopes and somehow, she knows, for sure, that the days of a complete Ayleid restoration will come soon...She lives a common life, and waits for the Latta to show her path to the final destination. :)

Oh,and...the love thing...Well,she didn't like a certain character.Actually, she was furious when she discovered his lies and treachery,so she had to put him down, after her tasks were finished.I guess Countess Umbranox really IS better without her irresponsible husband. He won't come back this time, though,no worries.

There it goes, lol.I'm gonna make me girl to write her own biography on here, and everything else, cause my fingers hurts. She has an ayleid character too! :D And a dryad one as well.Good race, though,I am an ayleidoon til the end!

Barra agea ryi sou karan! ;D

    Martin * ^ oops

  12. OK, I see many videos of NPCs and the Player getting taunted at by Guards and other NPCs in combat, I even saw it happen on a friends game, but I never hear them say anything but 'you should have paid the fine!' I do hear the Mythic Dawn agents taunt in combat, and sometimes the Blind Moth Priests, but the guards and other NPCs never say anything...they just grunt, shout or say 'pay the fine'. Is there something missing from my game, or do the taunts happen randomly? (I use Game of the Year edition with Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine.)

From what I heard whilst watching a friend play, I liked a Chorrol Guard saying 'this is the part where you fall down and bleed to death!'

Install a mod called Ayleid Treasury,it's here on tesnexus, and it's rather simple, but it rocks, and you will level fast with it.Once you enter the treasury,be sure that you are at least level 20 though. Anyways, once you get in,you will forget dremoras as scary. These guys from the treasury are pure evil, lol. And boy, they taunt in the darkness like raving lunatics. 'Noow, you will knooow paaaain! 'Todaaaay! You diiiie!'

My favorite taunts,by the way. Good hunting! ;)

  14. such as the necromancer Mannimarco possibly

If indeed Mannimarco went there, it seems to me like it would likely have been on Summerset Isles, but I'd like to see more evidence of this.

    http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Mannimarco

Possibly,as I've said.I've read an archive conversation between two people on some forum a while ago,it was on french, but I used translator for the whole page, and it seems that the 'person A' was interested in remaking this University as well, and I saw Mannimarco's name many times. Also, there is no trace of the actual university of any other except that on 'at Gwilym' or 'Gwilym' (I don't know what it is ,a city of a name for the school'. As I've read the King Of The Worms lore before, though I came across many versions of the same,it seems that Mannimarco lived for many years,it is mentioned particular at the link you posted>>>>

'However, it is known that he started studying magic 230 (ten score and thirty) years after the "mighty Remans" fell. This presumably is a reference to the end of the dynasty of the Reman emperors, which coincided with the end of the First Era. His study of magic would then coincide with the founding of the Mages Guild, which occurred in year 2E230. It is likely that Mannimarco was born roughly 20 years earlier, i.e., around 2E210.' Tjurhane Fyrre died at the beginning of the Second Era.I can only guess,as no other info has been given in the game itself, that this university worked after his death for a couple of centuries,I presume. You are maybe right about Summerset Isle, since Fyrre was an Ayleid and Mannimarco was an Altmer, and these two guys from the forum archives spoke about proto necromancy.

    Proto Necromancy >>>>

    http://tesfanon.wikia.com/wiki/Ayleid_Potentate_of_Vilverin

You can see Mannimarco's name there as well,at the last passage>>>

The religion of the Potentate was not the same as the other Ayleid kingdoms. The Potentate of Vilverin's civilians believed in apotheosis, which meant that when a hero died he would become a god. The Potentate had abandoned the Daedric religion in its early years. The Potentate's priests were the founders and fanatic followers of a belief called Silentium, or Proto-Necromancy, by the Imperial historians. Proto-Necromancy was known to be much more peaceful than its later version. The followers of that belief were not in fact collecting corpses to reanimate them, but in fact, they used the heart of the dead one. After years of practicing Proto Necromancy, the Potentate managed to create a huge number of undead. The Ayleids however had great respect for the dead and believed that any mutilation of them was blasphemy. The mutilator would be executed and his corpse would be mutilated as well. This belief died with the Potentate, its aftermath left behind only haunted ruins. Many years later, Mannimarco sought to restore proto necromancy. However, he failed, and his attempts corrupted him, and his followers.

If Proto-Necromancy was practiced among Ayleid society in Cyrodiil...It came from somewhere, isn't it?Was it Summerset Isle?Very likely, who knows. What is LOGIC to me,is that magic of that type must have been used as an educational segment,as well.Where?Arcane University came long after the elven rule. University Of Gwilym? :)

Anyways,it was the big inspiration of mine and still is,I can only collect bits and pieces, but it remains mysterious, almost completely.I relay on my own imagination of it,as I make it.

Though,interesting..I searched for Summerset Isle lore a bit while I typed these text, and sounds like a magnificent place, especially from the architecture description.I might go that way, when I finish the bases again.

Which sucks, cause I had to start it all over again, since Oblivion crashed on me and I uninstalled every tool completely recently,Now it's up and going to the max again! :D

So,I came to conclusion that we had only one university before the Arcane. That'd be Gwilym,as neither one information about any other popped out in my searches. And,hell,I've searched it deeply for hours and hours.

Thanks for the inspiration for Summerset Isle, brother. :) Now,I am going to hunt some images! :D

  15. Well,I'd go for searching for my surviving brethren,Ayleidoon. :P We would restore some major locations such as Miscarcand,Vilverin,Moranda,Silorn, etc, together, with all our strength.I'd unite elves and men and we would enjoy the perfect harmony between the nature and civilisation.I would help Ocato to crown a new emperor...After all that hard work,as a reward for myself,I'd take Ardaline for a nice evening at the Tiber Septim Hotel. Tamika's best, venison, sweetcake and rough sheet wrestling included.

Oh and..I'd love to start up a fight in Merchants Inn. :) I'd pick the weakest to be on my side, cause I am a brute in reality,so..Calindil,Thoronir and myself would seriously dogpile that ignorant Phintias-Varnado-maro trio. 3 on 3,bring it on,boys!

  16. I've never played as an evil character, never killed a person in game, even there were some nasty ones that really annoyed me.The only killing I did was the parts of the certain quests.I like my Cyrodiil to stay populated to the maximum,I even added some double population mods for the cities. It's nice to see our world crowded, alive,it's goo to enter IC Market after a dungeon crawl and to hear those rumors everywhere. :)

The only person I killed was the Gray Fox,after finishing the quest. Why?Because he was a lying, irresponsible idiot,a thief who tricked my character and manipulated through the whole quest, just to fulfill his own goals.Arrogant,two-faced idiot, who doesn't deserve the title he had, before he became a master-thief.

That leads to the beginning of my list:

I hate all the members of the Thieves Guild, thieves should be punished by cutting their arms to their elbows,so they can't steal again from people. :D

Except,Methredel,Carwen and Dynari.Those3can do whatever they want if you ask me. ;)

    Glarthir:

Hmm...I kinda felt sorry for him, despite him being a total freak.People who are insane needs help, not a sword into their necks.Well, only if the offer for help comes in the right time, before they get nasty.I didn't hate the guy,but I didn't liked him either.

Now Maglir is a different story,I did hate him, because of his lack of bravery,he was two faced as well, and a treacherous one,as well,it turned out at the very end.Enough said.

Ontus Vanin, retired battlemage from IC.Grumpy old man, with no respect for anyone, always against you whatever you do.His disposition to the character gets low for no reason,I discovered that,by engaging with him in a conversation after many quests. He is a pure wrench and deserves a nice package of fists delivered to his face.

Caelia Draconis,Captain of the Leyawiin Watch. A pure example of a farm girl who got her 'important place' which gave her benefits to 'cure' her complexes on the poor and disadvantaged.Classic example of a career woman who forgets her roots and her friends and family.

Countess Alessia Caro. She is nothing like her dear mother,no trace of discipline, order and dedication. She is a slimebag, using that poor old melonhead Marius for her own rotten fantasies and racist frustrations. She is a violent wench, who enjoys to watch 'burning and looting' and blood to her knees.

Mr.Motierre from Chorrol.A real wuss, ready to sell out his own blood just to save his own skin.Deserves a grave spot, right next to his zombie family.

Count Indarys of Cheydinhall.Spineless rooster, all flesh and no guts,he let the DB to get out with a murder oh his wife.

His son has more courage then him, even being a total tool,at least he went inside the gate and tried to do something,no matter what were his reasons, was it just fame or a real noble cause.

Uriel Septim.Because he wanted to conquer the whole Tamriel by the sword, without giving people their own choice.Tyrant.No wonder why the provinces want to part from Cyrodiil.Martin would be much better then his father.

Valen Dreth. Not because his little story at the beginning. It was quite amusing, actually. It's because of slavery.Slavers should be warming the coffins.

Falcar, the head of the Cheydinhall Mages Guild. It's not nice to play with others peoples lives,Mr. Mage.Especially if those people die as a result of your game.Good riddance.

The guy from the chapel in Bruma,I always forget his name...It's the guy who wants to convert Nords to Nine Divine bs,against their will.Paganism all day, every day, baby! Who gives a god damn about your lesser gods?Except Akatosh.Originally,Auri-El,Akatosh was a god that Ayleids worshiped,a true aldmeri god.

The guy from Bruma who teaches hand to hand. 'All I need is a piece of bread and Nine Divines to protect me' I actually liked him, reminded me on my uncle, who is like that,a true believer and a mountain man, strong with his fists. It turned out that Bruma's hardest fist fighter is a useless thief,a servant of that imbecil Gray Fox.

Janus Hassildor,Count of Skingrad.I liked him at the start, but his grumpy and arrogant attitude really left me no choice but to despise him.Yeah,he is a vampire, and a count, which is badass, but he is not the most important man in his world. And a 'master-wizard' like him should know more about his craft, not to fight with his fists like a drunkard.

The Preacher from KOTN.Full of lies, contradictory, vendictive cretin, who serves no purpose to the world, being the nine divine bible chaser, filling the heads of the citizens and those knights with pure bs about the 'real gods'.The only good thing about him was his positiveresponse if you pick up the option 'I seek no fame'.Shows that he has more or less good judgment.

    And last and worst-Pelinal Whitestrake.

Blood-thirsty hot-headed tool, who did more damage then his enemies back in the days.He enjoyed killing the elves, even those innocent ones, without mercy, only because his friend was killed.Out of revenge. He didn't score anything with his actions,he deserves no place in the hall of heroes in history books.Killing a merchant at Sancre Tor in a duel, and ripping out his neck veins with his teeth? Killing an artist sculptor in a duel? Taking it on the disarmed while they are retreating? Wow,well done,knight-commander!He ended up as he deserved, sliced in pieces.and tossed around the world.Safe travels, cerio!

That'd be all from me. :) Good hunting!

  17. From the ingame book On Wild Elves:

Indeed, one of the finest sages of the University of Gwilym was a civilized Ayleid Elf, Tjurhane Fyrre (1E2790-2E227), whose published work on Wild Elves suggests a lively, vibrant culture. Fyrre is one of the very few Ayleids to speak freely on his people and religion, and he himself said "the nature of the Ayleid tribes is multihued, their personalities often wildly different from their neighbor[ing] tribes" (Fyrre, T., Nature of Ayleidic Poesy, p. 8, University of Gwilym Press, 2E12).

Suggests that the university is most like of Ayleid origins.

I suppose it was made by them,as they were only ones educated and capable to make it in the old days, though, later,it seems that university hosted students of all races and from all the provinces.I gathered that by the dates from the books,as Master Sage Tjurhane Fyrre died at the beginning of the second era, year twelve, and he was the 'last Ayleid'.In the second era, reign of the Ayleid tyrants had no trace as they were driven back to Valenwood or massacred on sight by Alessian Order, long before Fyrre died.Around 70 % of ayleidoon joined imperials and nords in the cleansing,as they weren't all deadra worshipers nor vicious murders, but after a couple of years,Alessia took action against her ayleid allies for no reason,or for an unknown reason, and repeated the same ways as it was for the tyrants.Death or running them out.

If the university was of the ayleid origin, was it possible that the university was at High Rock maybe?Aside from Cyrodiil.I came upon that idea, because I've read that the 'last king of the ayleids' ,the under-king ruler of Nibenay region of Nenalata, was involved in a huge battle at High Rock.He helped Direnni clan in stopping the Alessian Order almost permanently,as the Alessians expanded and butchered elves everywhere. What bothers me,is,how much of the ayleid structures and influence is present at the other provinces? If it was at High Rock maybe,I would like to see how High Rock looked,as I never seen it before. The reason I am precise like this,is because I want my mod to be very accurate,lore-wise I mean,to satisfy everyone taste, without breaking anything major.

If you come across on any info,I'd be more then glad if you post it,and thank you for reading this and help you offered. :)

  18. i do not recognize "Gwylum" and the wiki on uesp.net comes up with a blank. Any more Information? Is this even in Tamriel or on one of the other Continents of Nirn? Maybe it's the University in which N'gasta studied :D

It seems that it was in Tamriel, and it was multicultured as well.Probably the only university in whole Tamriel, aside from Garlas Agea and aside from regular schools.Being an only one,I have no doubt that N'Gasta chased skirts in the gardens of Gwilym, between the classes. ;)

  19. A bit misspelling perhaps?

This is all I find of Gwilym:

    Sage Tjurhane Fyrre (1E 2790 - 2E 227)

One of the finest sages of the University of Gwilym and a rare civilized Ayleid (wild) elf. His published work on Wild Elves suggests a lively, vibrant culture. Fyrre is one of the very few Ayleids to speak freely on his people and religion, and said the nature of the tribes of Ayleid are multi-hued, their personalities often wildly different from their neighbor tribes. (Fyrre, T. Nature of Ayleidic Poesy" p. 8, Univ of Gwilym Press, 2E 12)

Is mentioned in the book "On Wild Elves"

    Oops: Cross-posted

Yes,sorry,I spelled it incorrectly,it's Gwilym. And information you posted is the only one I have too, :( ,though,I read some lore and found nothing on location, but it seems that University was multicultural, and some known individuals were the students there, such as the necromancer Mannimarco possibly. One more interesting thing I've read as well,is that the only 'good' type of necromancy was practiced there as a study, and it's called 'Proto-Necromancy',which was of ayleid origin. They didn't touched corpses, that was forbidden to touch the dead, only their hearts were used,it was meant for seeking cures of all types, and extending the possibilities of magic.Mannimarco tried to resurrect the old way of proto-necromancy but got corrupted by power and became evil.

Anyways,I am making an intro mod for a big one coming at the summer time. This intro is a long one as well,I will call it 'Resurrection:The Tomb Of Tjurhane Fyrre'. Since I didn't know where University once resided,I am making two buildings, one will be University Of Gwilym-New Building and University Of Gwilym-The Old Building.I didn't want to breake any part of the lore, that was the reason I asked it on here.

I want to hit almost the exact style of it,so I've been searching for some architecture variations. If you have any suggestions or if you come across of more informations, post it brother! :) I need all the help I can get. Thanks in forward! :D

  20. I have quite a few,and they are mostly the key figures in the game, simply because they were the best developed as characters. Here is the list>>>

    Lord Sheogorath

Why? Because he is the most charming mad genius I've seen in my life.Despite being completely insane,he is very wise, and bought me for a lifetime with his definition of time, just before he says 'Farewell'. Oh,and he taught me that the clouds tastes like butter. And tears.Well, maybe a little.

    Master Mankar Camoran

Why? Despite my hatred towards Deadric Princes and their kyn,and anyone who stands up for them, this old aldmeri wizard certainly fought and won his place on my list, with his dedication to the cause. He even treated Mehrunes Dagon as an equal. How badass is that? ;) And the thing which made the biggest impact on me,coming from him,was his fascinating speech during the travel in the Paradise. Voiced by Terence Stamp, the dark on himself. <3

when you listen to it more careful,it is easily said that it was the most beautiful thing to hear in the game, despite the evil and mad intentions of the narrator himself.

    Lord Rugdumph

Why?Because he is hilarious! :P 'Will 'o' The Wisps are real luminous beings. They have naturalized residances to many spells!' 'Precedeth most urgent-like!' No need to add more. :D Surely, the most unique character with his ramblings.

    Martin Septim

Why? He is the real picture of how emperor should look, inside and out.Simple man, warm heart, brave and dedicated.

He bought me with his misfortune, strangely.Being a Sanguine worshiper in his youth, then being a priest and a healer, then being an emperor..for only 10 minutes. That was sad, indeed. He experienced everything in his life, and died like a hero, but I wished that he survived somehow, because,I grew tired in reality as well, watching how the good people always die young,in such ways that they didn't deserved. This guy deserved to be a Tzar, because he showed more dedication to save his world, more then anyone else,in a very short period.

And he was voiced by 'Boromir' :D Epic voice and a great actor!

    Modrin Oreyn

Why? I am proud to say that I hold the same principles in real life, like he does in the game.He lives rather simple, not wealthy, but rich in his spirit, dedicated to the good path til the end,a quiet man, speaks little, says a lot,,down to earth, and has great respect for his job and his associates in Fighters Guild.Overall,a strong minded individual,a perfect mentor in the Fighters Guild for everyone.

    High Chancellor Ocato

Why? I've seen people like him in reality.Well,I haven't seen any elves, though, lol, but at the same position like him.Holding some pieces together, barely, while being humiliated by nobility and trashing and bashing by the same ones who wants to believe that the man has some secret intentions.Against all odds and possibilities,he serves the Empire very well and fights day and night for safety of the citizens. It needs guts and a strong heart and mind to deal with those stuff, while the dark times are present and ahead.

Oh and...I don't think that he is an Altmer,at all. ;)

    Ardaline from Bravil Mages Guild

Why? That's what I like in reality! :D Tall, beautiful, thin, educated, shy and even cold sometimes, she was always a point of interest to my character. ;) Doesn't have any unique topic or anything, but she is sure a mystery to me,because of her anti-social mood.

    Narina Carvain,Countess of Bruma

Strong, hard, disciplined mountain lady. She has more guts then many of the characters in game.I think neither one of the counts would allow The Great gate to open right in front of their cities. She did and it payed off.She showed her best side by giving 100 % of trust to her upcoming emperor.

    Captain Burd

Why? Powerful nord leader of the people,he doesn't give a god damn about imperials, and protects his nords from the nine divines-bible chasers who desperatly wants to convert his people,by all means, and always disrespecting them with words like 'ignorant barbarians', 'full'o' mead' and such. Everyone should have their choice,no matter of the race and nationality.,if nords wants to stay with their Ysmir and Shor, leave them be.Paganism, all day every day! :D

That would be all from me. :)
