These books do set horrible examples for children(only 16 ), i mean cmon, your bf or gf leaves you, then you kill your self?! :ohmy: Plus, in the last book isnt there a lot of vampire
"woo-hooing"? :pinch: doesnt seem like something that should be put in a movie that kids are watching and reading befor the schools(if they even do) teach sex ed

I got into games at a young age thanks to my uncle, who was a big Medal of honor fan, who decided that i should learn to play starcraft, warcraft, devil may cry, and medal of honor, when i was like 8. :thumbsup:

Is there not a part in the books were the girl gets a paper cut and one of the vamps trys to kill her? This makes no sense seeing as they are in a highschool, were fights and blood are sure to be around.
So yes i agree with you Sniperwhere, the image of them makes no sense.

off: Exactly, there are so few good rps that appeal to more than a small group of people (ie: this one appeals mainly to people who like survival scenarios and zombies, no offense Anton) so most of the rp community has moved elsewhere. I would start a few new rps but the problem is since I can only be on every two weeks or so I wouldn't be able to GM efficiently if they do pick up pace and then the rp would die without a GM and we're back where we started. I have brainstormed some decent ideas for rps if anyone who can be more active than I would be interested.
Off: this is very true, and even one such as this(zombie) is not as active as i would have thought.

What irks me the most on this, is that if you read the books that trublood is based off of, you will see that a lot of ideas and names were taken from this series and used in twilight. Some one who steals ideas shouldent be getting this fame.

This is true, there have beeen many other times when we thought the world would end, but, this has been predicted fofr a very long time, there fore it will have a lot of belivers.Even if its all nonsense.

If i may, regardless of wether or not it does happen, there will be hundreds, no, perhaps thousands of suicides, killing sprees, looting, and other unlawful behavior.
This, to me is common sense, this will be like the Haley's comet on steriods(that was the one with all the suicides right?)
I dont know. if it does end then im gonna go sit on a lawn chair and drink sweet tea.

Many of you have seen the lost boys right? Did you know there was a second one? Its becouse it was drowned by this Disney land vampire saga thats done nothing more than rip off ideas and names from the books and tv seris-Trueblood.(the movie came out around when all the twilight books did)
Another thing...in the twilight series isnt it were they have to cut the vampires in to little peices and burn them to keep them dead? if im correct the most common ways to kill a vampire are as follows...
-Decapation(the removal of the head from the torso)
-Stake(or any other sharp object) though the chest
Ive never, ever heard of that befor. And it makes no sense. If i put one through a meat grinder it will still regenerate?
The movie sucked, the only reason it did as well is becouse as a number of you have said, the twilight addects think the charecters are "Hawt".
After seeing one of my freinds reading the 4th book 'breaking dawn' i took it from her and gave her the book "dead untill dark", and told her "i will give it back when you read this". She didnt go back to twilight afterwards. This shows that pf all the absolutly amasing books out there, this one which isnt even written well and has a sucky plot line, can beat out these authors who deserve the fans and movies. :wallbash:

As he approched he noticed the eyse on him. His tech nine was straped to his right leg. It would be the fastest choice if things escalated. he didnt want to aproch them, but he was on his last clip for the tech nine, and only had half of one for the UMP, and needed supplies. as well as the fact it would be nice to have company.
He walks up to the one closest to him. after examining the group he drops his firearms on to the ground.
"i mean no harm. ive been watching you since you got here. i think we can help each other. about 20 minuits from here i have a little camp, i have tanned hides. You could use them to expand you cave, or use them for whatever. ill trade them and my labor for supplies. do we have a deal?"

Oh wow thats sad. looks like the worlds heading towards daywalking sparklers
but really, imagine that a girl is with a boy and said boy breaks up with girl. then said girl decids that she will kill herself becouse it was in twilight and it would be cool. im all for older ppl reading and watching this book and movie but kids who are like 12 13 14 prolly shouldnt, becouse of said(like saying that) reason.
