  1. Whenever I download a texture replacer mod/ new mesh mod/HD Texture pack mod via mod organizer it never replaces the actual in game textures. It seems MO will only actually work with the script/ESP files themselves. Has anyone had this issue before?
  2. I've recently began playing oblivion again. I have roughly 51 mods installed. Most minor enhancements to the game, via landscape. I have a few major game changing mods though. (Namely UVIII and Unholy Darkness). While using UVIII, often using the attack keys for UVIII in combat (not always but very often) will crash the game for me with no explanation at all. I have a bashed patch made, I sort my load order, all my mods are cleaned, I even went in and manually check in tes4edit to see if UVIII was conflicting with anything and it wasn't! Perhaps someone will be able to shed some light on why the combat crashes my game! Does anyone know of a mod for fallout 3 (or hell even fallout new vegas) that allows me to do any of the following: Kidnap wastelanders and experiment on them/turn them into my monster abominations Forcibly convert wastelanders into my cyborg minions (other than RobCO certified) If anyone was to make this if it doesn't already exist I feel like it would have great potential! I would do it myself but sadly time has my hands tied so I'm passing my thoughts onto you guys if any of you want to pick it up!

I know the file was hidden from the nexus and I was told that a new version was uploaded elsewhere but I cannot seem to find it!   8. I recently finished building my ultra gaming rig :D its a vaast improvement over my last one since that one couldn't even run arma 2 at 30 fps on medium. Anyways I'm wondering whats the best and most realistic ENB for oblivion that anyone can suggest?
  9. I installed darnified ui and the first time i experience a crash upon startup after it gets past the bethesda logo. I fixed this by pasting in a new thing under the fonts of oblivion ini From research the problem is an incorrect font setting however I chose the "labrit28" custom font and in the ini it says this: sfontfile_1=Data\Fonts\DarN_LaBrit_28.fnt sfontfile_2=Data\Fonts\DarN_Kingthings_Petrock_14.fnt sfontfile_3=Data\Fonts\DarN_Kingthings_Petrock_16.fnt SFontFile_4=Data\Fonts\DarN_Oblivion_28.fnt SFontFile_5=Data\Fonts\Handwritten.fnt From what i've researched and gathered that is the correct thing in the .ini i've even disabled all mods and ran just darnified ui! So what could be the problem here?
  10. From what I've observed the reason behind this is because the steam overlay on oblivion is not working. I've checked to make sure steam overlay is enabled for my library and oblivion in specific. I even re-bound the key and that didn't work!

Okay so I reinstalled oblivion after an exceedingly annoying glitch occurred where my resolution was permanently 640X480 (yes I checked the windows properties to see if that check box was checked and it wasn't) and no matter if I changed the resolution if I restarted it would still be 640x480. So I uninstalled and now the resolution can change. However, my oblivion is running like obse isn't there. For example I'm using the ringe of console (since I use an infrared keyboard where the ` key won't work so I need this mod to bring it up whenever I equip the console ring) It requires obse and without it it is nothing but a silver ring thats been renamed. It doesn't work. Also I have unnecessary Violence III and the attack moves won't work and the setting item won't bring up a menu! I have both Oblivion.exe, Oblivion launcher.exe and OBSE_loader.exe running as administrator. I also tried using the "steam loader version" where I can jus run obse_loader.exe and it launches the game directly. So if anyone has any advice please let me know! I've checked the obse loader log and the error is as follows: crc = A2408F04dll = G:\steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion\obse_1_2_416.dllSteam version being runFailed waiting to find Oblivion.exe process from Steam

Trust me I have searched relentlessly all over the ruined vault section yet i find nothing D: alot of other people seem to be having these problems as well :( but i can't think of any other map in new vegas that has ruined vault pieces (I haven't done as much exploring in new vegas as I have well modding)
  13. Well I have no idea where to look and from what I've heard others have achieved finding them through these unnamed unlinekd mods that add them that I can't find on the nexus. Also there are a ton of porp pieces in the geck how am I supposed to find the corner pieces out of all of those?

I've been working on a mod for fallout new vegas for the past month or so now and I'm done with the model and I need to unwrap the uvw now but when I unwrap it it distorts the texture on my model! I choose flatten mapping and it just distorts and stretches, or flips the model. How do I fix this?

But other than that I can't seem to find any other good mods that add the other provinces (specifically cyrodill) other than the currently unreleased beyond skyrim. I remember for oblivion there were a ton of these mods but I can't seem to find any others! So In short what I am saying can anyone suggest me some good mods that add the other provinces of Tamriel?

Some of the questions involve a mod I"m working on and for the sake of paranoia I don't want to ask them out in the open. Don't worry its just a couple of questions. But if you could do this that would be nice.
  19. I've started map editing in the GECK for a mod me and my friend are making. I'm supposed to make a ruined vault map but I cannot find a single corner piece for the geck that will fit the Vroom pieces! Also the "object pallete editor" under the world tab is missing all the .opl pallette files! Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Couldn't you just leave it as if getactionref = escaping raider? 2. Also could you explain in specifics what you mean by ";The following line says to set the Variable rContainer to whatever Container has the weapon." Sorry I'm a noob :3 Like what do you mean set the variable rcontainer to whatever container has the weapon. Why would you want to set rconatiner to say the player container? EDIT: I understand now. Sorry I'm tried and my mind is off right now. I read over it a couple times and I understand now. Say I spawn two bandits named MISSIONESSENTIALALTERNATE BANDIT. Both same npcs both share the same ref id's if I kill one I get the good ending kill the other I get a bad end. since both share the same REF id I use the reference to give the one with the good ending the place holder reference for the good ending. it sort of gives a specific generic npc like "bandit" a second name. Am I getting this right? Also I do have a few other questions but can I say add you on steam cause I'd rather not ask them out here in the open forum.
