  1. If only I could act  Have a nice CAD Condenser Mic and plenty of audio editing software. PM me some lines of dialogue (including context so I now what my attitude would be like) and I can take a crack at it and show you the results. You could make your mind up then :D No promises.
  2. Honestly could never get blender to work for me. Never seem to get the right combo of Blender/Python/pyFFI for the Blender NIF Scripts to work. But thats what you need to work with them in Blender. Gotta have all the right versions of the above to use the NIF Scripts
  3. I think you would have to edit the actual .nif file to remove pieces of that actual mesh. Some armor though, have multiple parts that are attached seperatley with the geck. You could try renaming the armors Form ID then change the Biped Model List dropdown to NONE. If it takes things away you don't want it to you'll have to make a new Biped Model List and put the attachments you do want on it. Not sure if the leather armor has pieces set up like that, think its a full mesh so you'd have to actually remove pieces in Blender or some other 3d modeling software. (can't help ya there)
  4. When people say 'room markers' are they referring to Roombound/Portal? Just curious since I have never dealt with anything called a Roommaker. (might clear things up for him) If it's the Roombound as far as I know it can be hidden, and usually doesn't cause me any problems, but if there are room markers, further explanation would enlighten me on it also. I rarely edit existing cells and when I have, I haven't noticed any issues like the above.
  5. Think some modified handguns that can burst or do full auto have stocks like that. (not all, but I swear I've seen that somewhere)
  6. Not sure if this is the right answer, but is the static piece set as Collision Geometry? That might be all you have to change and of course make a new form ID for pieces you change so you don't mess with vanilla stuff. I'll go in and check out the pieces myself a little later and see what the deal is. Good luck. Oh one more thing might want to ask these questions in a geck specific thread to get an answer faster. I use the one here at Nexus too but I find I get quicker replies over at G.E.C.K. - Fallout 3 Forum
  7. Great idea! Can't believe it hasn't been done yet. I recommend heading over to G.E.C.K. - Fallout 3 Forum a lot of guys who frequent that forum know their way around the geck and then some. They have helped me with my mods tremendously. From my experience it definitely sounds possible. Might require some 3rd party software like Blender or Gmax to mirror it and set it up for the other hand, someone there should be able to help or point you in the right direction.
  8. I'm curious too since the question didn't seem to get answered. Are these assets from other games your bringing over to Fallout3? Either way no worries, more guns is more guns :D But if you actually modeled and textured these from scratch you get a super big
  9. Definitely easier than when I first got in there. Still very tempermental none the less  Glad you like it
  10. Glad you like it, and many thanks for an endorsment  Plan on making another wasteland player house on the small scale soon. Pretty much freestyled this one with nothing in mind. Was a great learning experience (the G.E.C.K. makes me want to :wallbash: sometimes) Thanks again!
  11. Just tossin' up a thread in case someone might be interested. Initially released it a few weeks back, but have done plenty of updates. If your in the mood for another place to call "Home" check out my mod. Player House by ziRomE :thanks:
  12. Okay let me know if this is a no no as I don't want to get in trouble on future posts. I just want to see if people who frequent this forum have any idea whats wrong. If you have the stamina to read through my thread on the geck page of the bethsoft forums the links below. Read through it, and see how things have progressed. I didn't really want to start a completely new thread here since this other one is somewhat deep already. Feel free to give your two cents here or there. THREAD LINK
  13. :whistling: Haha I'm lame. Was as simple as making the folder \Data\Sound and NOT Sounds.... so I'm good and now I can move forward.
  14. still not able to select a sound after redoing folders, so if anyone has any idea whats wrong let me know.
