  1. Learning something new every day, that's just the best :-) Okay, another issue have occur. If I take a vanilla armor and opens it in Blender, cahnge it, export it as .NIF, reopen in NifScope to cahnge UV Scale, export again, import to OS, do nothing, just exporting again, everything works fine in game. However, if I then alter the texture in Photoshop, it suddenly turn pink/purple in game. I recon that is lack of texture. This is also vallid even not changing the texture, just opening and resave it in Photoshop. This operation have been totaly flawless in SSE, but now for S LE it suddenly starts to bug, and tbh I have no idea where to start bug searching, because the textures showing fine in NifScope and OS, just not in game.
  2. Hi, and thanks for reply :-) I might have found the reason for the problem. So, I just want to start out easy and see how things work togheter. Have edited textures on several armors with no problem. However, in this particular case, I wanna make a "bodypaint". Basicly, just copy the femalebody mesh. So, I copied the .nif, linked new textures and edited them. Went into CK and set everything up as a new armor, all edits I do work, except the texture. However, I think I found the answer, I was reading somewhere that files regarding the body, will always get the body used in game. A work around is to create an own race with the wanted textures, and only then will I get to edit the textures. Now I have to edit the main texture file for the female body to make it occur on the bodypaint "armor". I bet it can be sorted out in way, but tbh I have changed the goal. Build it up from scratch, but again textures is making a mess. After exporitng .nif from blender, back in NifScope/Outfit Studio, textures will not show, even though it shows nicely in Blender. UV map and everything works as is should. By opening UV map in NifScope the texture is there, but not in the 3D view:-( Hah, found the solution. Back in NifScope, the UV scaleing has changed to 0, edit it to 1, open in OS, and re-export from there, and things seems to work fine:-)

  4. Hi, thanks for reply:-) Sorry, that's wrong written in here. I use \ in the texture linking:-)
  5. Hi folks. I have been enyoing the community for some years now, and finlay figured out I wanna try to make something on my own for Skyrim SE. Starting out very easy just to figure out of things, but have a goal to make own 3d models in Blender eventually. However, I have came across a rather annoying problem that I guess is a very easy fix on, but after trying, failing and browsing the net for a couple of days, I can't find the answer. The problem is, I have created a new .NIF, and any edits I do in NifScope shows in game, exept the textures... My relative path is <textures/afolder/nameoftexture.dds>, and the same for the normals and a couple of others. Everything shows fine the way it should in NifScope, but in game, it instead loads the texture for the femalebody, and my relative file path is not pointing to that. Changes done in NifScope though, like gloss and specular strength shows in game. And just to double check, I added some color on the femalebody_1.dds jus to see, and then the color came up in game. No transparacy is activated either in NifScope, and no transparancy is added to the texture.dds. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help:-) Chers Kvabbe
  6. Thank u very much for u'r replays guys:-) For an ex "caster" in other games, I have started it again, and it is ok to do something that is not "ment" for the class while lvling, but in the end, u wan't it perfect, so why not do it the way it is ment to be done all the way:-)
  7. Hi folks, first, sry for bad english. I'm new in this game and rolling a battlemage, love it, but I wondering a bit about the armor stuff, is it so that I should not use armor at all as a battlemage? I did read wrong in the beginning, and have walked some vlvs with heavy armor, and thinks it works very well, but what minus does that give my magic actually? CAn't see it on the characther sheet as far I have noticed. And would u recomand me to stop using armor, or maybe change to light armor instead of the heavy one... Have noticed on tesnexus that ppl are making some light armors for mages, so will those work okay, or best stay away from all armor? Sorry if I'm repeating someone's question that alrdy answered, did search around in the forum and could not find any answers on my question at that time. thanks
