  1. You should have mages with some form of crowd control; the more the better. Awesome crowd control spells are: Sleep + Waking Nightmare: Cast from a distance and watch as chaos reign. Crushing Prison is another great CC by itself. Force Field quickly takes out a target temporarily. Glyphs and Hexes are also a must. Healing spells are crucial. Of course, damage spells are also needed, but a balance of both will get you through normal easily. You shouldn't need the consumables unless on tougher bosses. Don't forget Cone of Cold; freezes multiple targets, deals some damage, and allows you to shatter them if they're normal rank. Great way to quickly get rid of weaker enemies.
  2. Are you sure you don't have Hold Position enabled?
  3. The same thing happened to me too. I thought it might have had something to do with me accidentally messing up the AddIns.xml file. Haven't been able to fix it yet.
  4. Try the respec mod: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14
  5. Yes, but that's what makes them interesting. How boring would it be if everyone was all "Save us oh mighty warden! We are but worthless insects compared to your awesomeness!" Besides, there are plenty of arrogant, ungrateful humans in the game too.
  6. That's because that save is supposed to be set before the events of the epilogue, sometime after the Landsmeet and before you go to Redcliffe. It even says so in the game. No explanation on dead warden being imported to Awakening, though. That's just an ass pull by the writers.
  7. Because they're jealous of our awesome sexiness, that's why. No, really, I don't know. I think dwarves are pretty cool, and the dwarf society was very interesting. The Orzammar questline had some of the hardest decisions in the game (which is a good thing), and playing as a dwarf you get a whole new perspective on it. I didn't care much for Oghren, but Sigrun was hands-down my favourite companion in Awakening. Though I have to agree with RustyBlade that the beards in this game look terrible. Fortunately DA dwarves aren't as beard-obsessed as those in some other stories XD.
  8. I saw this on the official Bioware forums too. Great video, very moving. I've always liked the US ending.
  9. Yeah, I know that. I just don't feel like playing through as a male human noble, so I wondered if there was a mod that would do away with those restrictions, so I could marry her on my current character. (sorry, I guess my wording wasn't very clear)
  10. ^ what the title says. I've searched, but haven't found one yet.
