So, I'm trying to crate a MOD, which I think I will Split into TWO MOD's to make things a bit easier, since they are Follower MOD's that are not related to each other. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I will start by listing my First MOD Idea, and then what I need for it: Follower: Yuki Height: 0.75 (Total) - Note, this is based on the fact my own Player Character has been Modified to be that small too (Smaller = Harder to Hit / Easier to Sneak) Race: Seelie (Requires Fairie Race MOD) Skill Set and Class: Spell-Sword / Restoration Sub-Class Voice: It would be nice to have a Custom Voice, as I want something a little squeaky, maybe just Edit Existing Files manually if I can (are they .WAV or something?) Location and Background: So, I thought it would be cool if the Player had a Follower NPC from the very Start in Helgan. Either on the Helgan Wagon's, OR that you see later on in the Chamber. So, I think the Chamber would be easier to Code in, so I'm going to go with that (Prevents Breaking too much). I did make a Preset, and saved it via RaceMenu, but I'm having trouble trying to get it in an Exported File to then turn it into a MOD. There is one other thing though, I'm not satisfied with the Hair, and would like to use different Hair, but I can't find a MOD with what I'm looking for. So, her Background, how did she end up in a Cell? The Story could be in-depth, or just left to the Player to come up with. Personally, I think having the basic "She was locked up in a Cell, and might have had Information that the Guard was trying to get out of her" and leave it at that. That should be enough to start with at least, just a potential Spy, and there you go. Skills: To provide a basic Baseline of what she will have. Trait = Cloaking Stealth Sneak - Will turn Invisible when Sneaking - I did see another MOD that did this, so I thought it would be useful. Spell Proficiency = Restoration and Illusion - Master Level in both - I might include 'Teach the Player' Attributes to her for both Skills. Weapon Proficiency = Bow and One-Handed - Will use a Dagger OR Sword in One-Handed Combat, OR use a Bow the rest of the time - again, might include 'Teach the Player' there too. Armour = Prefers Light Armour, but will use Enchanted Heavy Armour - I'm not sure if there is a way to get the NPC to have a preference like that. Problems: As mentioned above, I have a Preset that was made in RaceMenu, but I'm having a spot of bother trying to Export that into something I can use in a MOD. Mainly, since I don't actually know what I'm doing. The Second main Issue is finding a Hairstyle that will look how I want it. I'm looking for something like Silica / Kaiko Ayano (from Sword Art Online) to be the template origin of Hairstyle. It needs to be something that will not look strange with the Ears, since it will be of the Seelie Race. So, since I have no idea what I'm doing, I'm likely going to be deconstructing other MOD's which have the Code that I want, and then learn from them. This does mean a lot of Reverse Engineering of MOD's that contain Features I want (mostly Skills and Attributes). Copy+Paste Demon, LOL. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The other MOD I had in mind was another Follower MOD, but it's basically just a Reassembly of a MOD someone already made for Skyrim LE, but I want to change some things. Original MOD: Donyaakin Followers Issue: It's in LE Format, and the Mesh Data needs swapping out anyway since the Hands are not attached properly. So, while I thought the Spawning Cat Feature was cool at first, it clearly has a few issues, and frankly, doesn't make much sense. So, for that reason, I wouldn't be including it. Obviously, I would be replacing everything, so basically doing a Reassembly with absolutely none of the original Data. This means a completely New Mesh and Texture Set, and completely New Heads. I'm also using CBBE, and I think the Original MOD was in UMP. Their Skills would also be changed too. More Details on this at a later date, as I want to make one MOD first, and then use the experience to make the other MOD.
