Yeah, no face light mod. I haven't been able to create a third crash either... It's possible both mods were maybe just a fluke? I'm honestly not sure -

Aye, you know what... better third person has been referenced in these crashes before... I've got that, smooth cam and improved camera. If I recall Face light redux causes crashes nowadays but I don't believe I've had it for over 2 years. I will check it out when I get back home. -

Alright so I am not an expert but if I have to guess this must be a conflict or bug with something utilizing precision. It's not happening when I am being hit but I could maybe have some animation mods that these draugrs and imperials share that is requiring precision.dll to always be on. Could maybe explain this freeze near the Whiterun giant fight too. I suspected Diverse NPC Movesets since they should both be pulling from that but no crashes reported. I also left a post on master occlusion to ask if I am right that it shouldn't be the cause of the crashes and should instead gets referenced all the time since it's being used all the time. -

Master Occlusion could be the move yes... but I think like Occlusion.esp it's just always on is all! Still I must absolutely go verify this. Thank you to you both! I will look at Precision.dll too! -
Got a crash today and a crash yesterday. I was taking screenshots last night and deleted these draugrs trying to attack me since it was a clean save just for screenshots so I didn't care much for its stability. I saw one's AI got deleted but not his body so out of curiosity I walked up to him then my game crashed. Today, where I got this crashlog https://pastebin.com/UT6AeBMu, I was also near this imperial npc who was once again in my way of screenshots and crashed again. I have been wondering if ncps in my game are causing me issues as my game can sometimes freeze up when it's spawning the event of Aela and Farkas fighting off the Giant in Whiterun's outskirts. Sadly I am not very good at reading crash logs so I'm very lost. I tried to read the last thing that the game grabbed before it crashed but all I can see is references to NPCs. Here I am 11 days later. I felt like this could be important to anyone who may come across this. It turns out the fairy mod was NOT the cause. It was Vilja. I never had issues using her before (and she's also one of my favorite followers so I didn't even wanna think about it) but I finally looked at all the crash logs and they all pointed to different scripts running to just about every single aspect of her character. Her interaction dialogue, radiant dialogue, NPCs added by her mod, etc. Disabling her got rid of these crashes. I don't exactly know about script limits and how they affect the game, but I know I eventually hit some sort of limit a few weeks ago as my textboxes were blank and I couldn't interact with any NPC until I changed it. Removing Vilja did solve the issue, but I imagine it will creep back up. I don't think there actually is a bad mod so much as I need to start uninstalling some stuff I don't use. I have every big follower mod under the sun as well as like 2-3 long quest mods adding worldspaces and creating scripts on new game to set that up.

Hi everyone! I just found out I accidentally set my min grass size to be way lower than it was supposed to be (40 instead of 60) which explained why things look a bit off. Therefore, I am gonna go ahead and regenerate it. However, before I do, I am confused on this one thing. I have extend-grass-count set to true, but I am wondering how much this kills performance? Even with grass LOD from dyndolod 3 there seems to be some stutters when loading in the grass. Is grass lod from dyndolod supposed to replace this setting? Or is whether or not its set to true or false irrelevant if dyndolod-grass-mode is set to 1? I'm just trying to make sure I don't waste any performance on grass I can't see, but I also prefer to see as little grass just fading in as possible. 25% grass lod does this well enough (though I am thinking of reducing it to 15%) but I just want to make sure I know 100% what I am changing.

Oh... it looks like it *was* dwemer fairy. That's so strange... it's been in my load order for years with absolutely no issues before now. I should not have changed anything relating to that mod. I'll find out what happened. Maybe it's a load order thing? It was a .esl and not an espfe.

Hey, thanks for helping! I'll try disabling fairy. You're right it could be unexpected. Not a huge deal if I have to remove it. I have updated and changed some things. Most noticeably changing my embers xd patch and changing some things parallaxgen is overwriting. It's entirely possible I need the "right" version of an existing patch.

I doubt it could really be dwemerfairy. What I do is enter "coc whiterun" then end up on the whiterun lux via bridge. This is just where I go test things. Of course! I apologize for the slow responses. Nexus does not give me notifs from the website so I'm not seeing your replies since we're on forums I guess. You could try on a new game with new combat range disabled. But what worked for me was toggling it off with the lesser power. If it's an animation mod, try disabling them all. You're probably using OAR which is safe to disable mid-game and won't have any left over scripts.

Try enabling it again. Then from there go into magic, powers, then you will see newcombaton/off. Use the lesser power until says off - Then keep doing that until it lets you dual cast since it doesn't always work the first time. I don't know why it still won't let you dual cast. Either it still has stuff left over if it's on an existing save or its a different mod that's causing this issue for you. (sorry for double posting. I don't know if my replies are notifying you or not since I am very new to this forum. I'm just trying to make sure you see this.)

I've always wished there was some separations between translations and other kinds of mods. Translations are pumped out at an incredible rate and can very quickly drown out mods in new.

In first person it plays an animation where she seems to be opening an invisible scroll, and in third person it just flicks on for a split second then doesn't work (sometimes even causes her to freeze up entirely and I can't move for a few seconds.) Example : https://imgur.com/4lx0SDZ
