Huh, looks like it worked this time. A bit sad I can't keep the zoom in/out feature but knowing where you are is more important. Thank you!

I've been modding Oblivion for my sibling, mostly things to improve gameplay and stabilize the game, and have come across a glitch where the player arrow (and only the player arrow, no other location markers) is missing from both the local and world maps. The maps still centers on the player location, however. According to them, this started around the time I installed Dynamic Maps (I do not know if that is the time it actually happened as I am not the one playing). I have tried uninstalling the Dynamic Maps mod but the arrow is still missing. Additionally, I have tried installing Map Marker Overhaul (and specifically chose the option that the player arrow would appear on maps) but it still does not show up. All of my sibling's save files have this glitch on them as well. I have checked the Oblivion.ini file and made sure uGridsToLoad is set to 5. I have heard that this might have to do something with Cell 3,3 being edited but I have no idea what that is and my attempts at finding information on it have just led me back to the original posts about missing map markers that I found that information on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
