  1. Actually, I would like to hold out hope that Bethesda may address this themselves. I think we can all agree there's no real reason for overlooking the Khajiit and Bosmer, aside from perhaps an oversight. That being said, I expect Bethesda to release a Skyrim expansion or two, and I would not be surprised to see some of the old "horse armor" foolishness make a repeat performance. If that's the way of the thing, would I pay for a micro-expansion that would increase the number of potential spouses in the game? Yes. Yes I would. But what the hey...We'll see if Bethesda or the modder community produces results faster.
  2. Hey, if you make it happen, you get the credit...Or maybe they get the credit for their creations. Doesn't worry me, either way...I'm just tapping my foot 'til the CK...!
  3. I don't see why a clever modder couldn't design something leaning towards a frigate, though. I was just going over the Dainty Sload again...that model should have sufficient space for what I'm talking about, wouldn't it? Of course, it could stand to be a bit more open...
  4. So to avoid spoilers, I will simply say that there is one proper ship in Skyrim, near Solitude, that first put this thought in my head... My idea is a new house specifically for cutthroat pirates and nautical adventurers. The house itself would be the Captain's quarters, and for convenience sake, the ship could also be home to all the essential crew that one would expect from a relatively small town: apothecary for all medical and alchemaic needs, a smith to mind the forge, a quartermaster in charge of equipment and goods to serve as a merchant. And, of course, an appropriate Housecarl. Ideally, I'd like the ship itself to be an initial purchase, or perhaps earned through a quest. After acquiring it, upgrades would be available just as any home, purchased from an appropriate vendor. (Maybe the 1st Mate?) Even better, a follow-up quest to hire an appropriate crew of seamen or brigands, depending on your tastes. Tell me what you think...anyone else interested? Any suggestions?
  5. I was actually having this conversation the other day...in Morrowind, armor was broken into smaller pieces. Pauldrons, greaves, cuirass, etc. How possible would it be to break the armors up again? Wouldn't that make it easier to combine different bits of armor?
  6. I really love this idea! I hope someone picks it up...It would be perfect for the pirate character I want to make!
  7. Does anyone remember the image of the Gray Fox from the Black Horse Courier? http://www.imperial-library.info/sites/default/files/OBbks_wanted_poster.jpg No eyes, glowing blue glyphs down the front...that's the sinister visage I'd love to wear in Skyrim. Of course, it just wouldn't be the same if it didn't have the identity-hiding enchantments...
  8. I concur! Extravagant longcoats, tricorner hats, eyepatches...If I had the experience or know-how, I'd do it myself... I would also suggest more piratey weaponry...cutlasses, flintlocks, harpoons, and explosives.
