I remember in my youth playing FMV games such as Wing Commander 3,4 and Prophecy and the Command and Conquer series. I also played a bit of Privateer 2 The Darkening. Common for all of those games where that instead of a cgi cutscene, they used full motion video where it was actual actors acting out the scene or (as i suspect it was the chase with C&C the companies staff playing the different parts). It has since disappeared completely from video games with maybe the exception of a single game or two here and there. So my question is why did FMV games fall out of fashion was it because it got to expensive and it was much cheaper hiring a bunch of animators to do the cutscenes and then hire some voice actors to voice the characters or why exactly did it fall out of style?

Then i would like the request Nexus Mod to create a sub section for the Wing Commander Series, the entire series would be good. But i think most people would mostly be interested in Wing Commader 3,4 and Prophecy as that was when they started to use FMV cutscenes and use actors such as Mark Hamill, Malcolm McDowell and Tom Wilson in them and make the series fully 3D Wing Commander 1 and 2 looked more like cartoons and used drawn textures, the first game had no voice acting and the second had limited voice acting. But as said i am looking for modders, people who know how to make a subtitle mod for Wing Commader 3,4 and Prophecy that replaces the English subtitles with danish subtitles.

In the games subforum. Larger games have dedicated request forums others don't. Is the game subforum located in the Game Specific Forums Category? If so i have already checked under W and i can´t seem to find Wing Commander anywhere. If not is it possible you could post a link to this sub forum? That's because there is no Wing Commander forum. Wing Commander isn't even on the Nexus (Any of the games or sequels) Okay then can i request modders here to help create one or is that impossible?

Hi new here and i hope this is the right place to post this topic. But where do i post requests to get a moder to help making a mod? Specifically what i am looking for is basically help in creating a Danish subtitle mod for Wing Commander 3,4 and Prophecy.
