If raiders and slavers steel kill and enslave for a living how on earth is it that they outnumber the amount of civil and productive humans? If the player kills off a "clan" of raiders that "clan" should be devastated yet it seems like there is an unlimited pool of new raiders. Not to mention the massive gap between means of food production and consumption. Why is it that nearly every raider camp has raiders living there? The wasteland has been a waste land for many many generations, over this period of time raiders/salvers should have moved around a lot leaving "bases" behind. The same goes double for super mutants, since it takes many trys to come out with a "success". What I would like to see is a mod that depopulates the wastes. Thinking it over this could be done by lastly reducing the amount of re-spawning raiders and removing raiders/slavers entry from some bases. The super mutants should also see their numbers reduced, for instance in the story their attempts at taking the capital area should have failed once the player whips them out so no re-spawns for them. Random encounters should be left since they are reasonable and the game would be less for their disappearance. Now I realize that what I have brought up would be a lot of work. Personally I would be happy with a "hack" to get some of the same effect, for instance is there some way to change in-mass the spawn points to not respawn? How about a script that disables every second raider/slaver/super mutant/talon company merc you run into? What got me thinking was that I was contemplating creating a new character and using some of the great mods to change the wasteland experience, but my biggest beef with the wasteland is how impossible the economics and population density are. I can see why Beth made the game like they did, but on my play through I don't want to go around re-killing every raider in the game in an attempt to make the wasteland better place only to have more respawn.

Only if you are the creator of the mod and are testing it before release. "Don't... * ask questions about using mods - this thread is for answering questions about creating mods"

I think you should post in the correct topic.

I don't know about op but in my case I got bored because I did them ALL. In my case I started moding the thing I actually liked about fallout, story. Now that is done I'm kind of lost, I think a break is in order but I do not want to leave the mod. Oh I;m getting off topic, I might bring up that modding might not be the best thing to do. Now that I know how it works I'm finding myself thinking of everything from the "other" side of the game. Oh and ` click "kill" is invaluable for debugging but kind of ruins the game.

If you look in containers there is a house model, this "container" is really a full sized house model setup as a container.

Don't do that, use example.com since that is what it is supposed to be used for.

The first one is real, no reason to think it isn't. The second is fake this sentance makes that clear: "It is an elaborate hoax meant to prey on the innocence of youth.".

ROFL Yeah I don't think either are that, good. Li is a very popular Chinese last name and is too short, unless it really caught on in which case both facts would not matter but since it hasn't those points should considered. As for Loti, it looks too much like LOTR or loli.

When I made my first mod I used moveto from a trigger to a bed, the player would then wake up from the bed as if they had been sleeping. Now I had als ran into some bugs regarding the camera but the point still stands, that somehow if you moveto the player will start off as using the object.

Look at the pointlookout scripts, I remember seeing something about pausing radio stations. Actually the same script might be found anywhere in a quest where a radio is stopped. Sorry I don't know much more beyond that.

Well that is only logical, after all Fallout 3 is a video game and the only way to truly play a video game is on a computer.

Wow, google is showing that there is a well established gamerscore hacking community. Yet I still know of console gamers who go for the achievements. Anyway sorry I guess I brought this off topic.

Weapons Placed In Shop All Have 100% Health
Warll replied to Clint1337wood's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
Deactivating your mod, saving, then activating it should also have the same effect if you do not have a clean save easily accessible. -
Speaking of the achievements is there any checks in place for them? I noticed that it is just called form a script but is there any checks in place to make sure that it is a "validated" script?

'Their are 5 possible downloads available in this mod, and they are specifically modular in design in order to facilitate maximum usability. All of them are standalone mods in their own right and they are compatible with each other and their respective DLC's (if applicable). The Tailor Maid and Tailor Maid Black Retex downloads do not require any DLC to function and are fully compatible with the vanilla game. Using an actual version of 7zip (or equivalent), extract the archive into your Fallout3 > Data folder, allowing any overwrite. You must also use ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated and ensure that the .esps are ticked in your Fallout3 launcher ( FOMM or equivalent). "

GFWL does not work with FOSE you would know that if you had read more about what you installed, I in future suggest you do not install random things on your system without knowing what they do.

Can someone teach me how to convert mods from Oblivion?
Warll replied to GarbagePickles's topic in Fallout 3's Discussion
Yeah it would be possible but a whole lot of work, as in you need to port every model and exture you use. I suggest you get back to reading those tutorials if you want to ever have a playable mod. -
I don't think the Fallout 3 engine does godrays.

If you have to ask, are you sure your computer is powerful enough?

Try selecting just Anchorage and steel.

Wrong topic, this is for much lower level help.

Yeah my guess is that there is a script which uses Jame's death to set the stage.
