  1. Haha man, you might as well add DETAIL if you're going to request something. I think he's refering to the V-22 Osprey V/STOL Tilt-rotor Aircraft, correct me if I'm wrong. And Gamestop is... uh... a game store. Yeah... Also, generally, it's hard to find modders for every-little request. Try things that everyone would want to see, or would be a challenge (yet an enjoyable one) for the modders. As cool as the V-22 is, or the awesomeness of Gamestop, not everyone wants these. Now if you mentioned a replacement skin for the VB-02 Vertibird, into the V-22/MV-22B Osprey... I'd so be with you... but now I'm off topic :whistling:
  2. :( I really wanted this to come to life too... >,<, come on modders, pleasee?
  3. Haha that's alright, It happens to all of us.
  4. Dude... my name. My ONLY request. I made it like, two months ago, and keep bumping it occasionally. I. Frakking. HEART. Half-Life. :whistling: ...okay, maybe I like it a little too much, but I AM THE FREEMAN. But yeah, the more eyes that see thing? Doesn't work -.-... we should do this on our own, modders suck. PS: I also hated the Reskinned Medic armor. Someone kept recommending it to me in the request I made. http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showto...17555&st=10 ...I got two pages of it, and alot of a views, but no modellers were biting. No texture-ers either. So... yeah, we should just try working on this on our own. EDIT: I just noticed we used some of the same reference pictures. Fancy that :P Also, sorry for being such a stick in the mud, but it's Hazardous EnVironment Suit, no -al. The Mark IV and Mark V Hazard(ous Environment) suits.
  5. :whistling: Bump. Haven't posted here in awhile, but still hoping a modeler picks this up. Any Half-Life fans older than seven years of age, who are good with anything involving 3D modelling/texturing/ANYTHING? (I tried, I failed, and than tried again, and than my computer became even less responsive than it was! I didn't even think it was possible...) Also, has anyone else noticed how people just pick up guns/costume ideas from any and all of their favorite videogames (or rather, the three popular ones, Halo, in particular, with a few people taking guns from Metal Gear Solid 4: GotP? Kinda getting sick of people posting the same idea over, and over again. I mean come on, at least I was fairly original in my request! You know, until like, three others decided to follow my example and request THE SAME EXACT FRAKKING THING. Thanks guys. Just clog the request box up some more, that will DEFINITELY get these projects on their way! :wallbash: ) *SIGH* Well, It's late, and I'm tired. I'll *try* (re-)downloading blender, and some other 3D modeling shiz, but I have no bloody idea what I'm doing. So please, please, PLEASE, if you are even the slightest bit of a HL fan, or have some sympathy for me, would you please help me out? :thanks: (Unrelated: Was anyone else at the Paul McCartney Concert on the 21st?)
  6. I like the idea, as complicated (and near impossible) it sounds, for a game like Fallout 3. But if anyone could work on this, I'd like this. I too, have a problem with the ammo magically teleporting from a half-spent magazine, to a fresh one, without anything stopping it. Ammo doesn't work like that, it'd be nice if it did, but it doesn't. And finding proper magazines for a gun would be good. The G3's (known as R91 Assault rifle, otherwise to casual players, the normal Assault Rifle) magazine shouldn't be usable with the Chinese Assault Rifle's (A hash of many AK designs, not even gonna try an' explain that here) magazine-well. So finding correct mags, for a certain gun would be cool! One little error I'd like to point out, as a Gun-Fanatic: It's called a Magazine, a clip is a part of the magazine (on modern guns, such as the G3/G36/M16/AK/etc.). A clip on it's own would be like the Stripper Clip of an old M1 Garand (or most pre-Korean War Bolt-Action Rifles, like the Kar98, Mosin Nagant, or similar rifles), where it is only a strip that holds ammo to it, which is than fed into an internal-magazine, that is built into the gun. Only a minor inaccuracy, and most likely one that no one cares about, but being the gun-activist I am, I just had to point it out. Someone get to work on this, see if it's plausable!!! :thanks:
  7. Haha Im amazed anyone remembered the ol' 109. Though I thought they never worked out the whole 'recoil is too great for any human' limitation... not that it should interfere, xD I love Barrett too ^_^... so someone make this!!! >=O!!! Edit: Also, you forgot to mention not only is the 12.7x99mm NATO (More commonly known in the U.S. as the .50 BMG [browning Machine Gun]) smaller than the 25x59mm, but that the .50 cal is a Rifle round, where-as the 25mm is a grenade. xP
  8. ...*De bump* I usually don't (Read: Never) bump a topic just to get it on the recent posted... but I just was wondering if any modders out there could pleassee pick this up. My models were terrible. Horrendous even... so... yeah... :/ Help a poor doctor out. The Gordon. (Shut up. I ran out of good, unique sigs >_>)
  9. Haha glad to see I'm not the only Half-Life fan around ^^ Here are the picks of the two weapons I mentioned. I'm thinking if no one picks it up soon, Ima find a better computer, reinstall Fallout on that, and mod it myself (my current computer is garbage right now, doesnt run properly ><... it's old, and breaking down now). More referance pics in my next post. Cheers, Freeman
  10. Oh, got an idea for some more Half-Life stuff that could be added... the Tau-Cannon ('gauss gun', but it's actually closer to a coil gun, it shoots particles, not slugs) and the Gluon Gun (the other energy weapon)... I'll add pics later, probably tomorrow, and hopefully someone picks this project up :P The Tired Doctor, because he is an insomniac.
  11. Well that's good. We just need someone with the skills to make a new armor, rather then the retex. And I agree with the sound idea, play all the original sounds... wish I had thought of it sooner >_>... So... anyone got a good modeller in mind who can free up some time for this? Cheers Gordon Freeman
  12. Thanks for the link, and I did look up Half-Life. Forgot to search up HEV, my apologies, im rather new here. But as I saw the suit, it seemed more of a retexture of the T-4x armor, with some... uh... rather... bulky legs. And Shoulder-pads. I was thinking more along the lines of the HEV Mark V Protective Environment System... with Stats and resistances to boot. I mean, sure it wont protect you 100%, but it outta take alot of the Radation out of it, as well as a decent Morphine (Med-X, or Stimpack) -administering system... perhaps with the helmet (brought out with a little more high-definition from its Half-Life 1 Incarnation). Thanks for the point-out to the suit though, but I want something a lil'... closer. And I don't know, maybe in it's own little shack of some sort, under examination, or what have you, with a quest to find it... I know the Modders, modellers, and all those programers may be bogged down doing other projects, but I just wanted to bring something up for those die-hard fans out there of the Free Man, however few they are these days. Sorry I can't help any more though, I'm bad with modding, or anything along that nature. I added a picture of the helmeted Mk. IV, so if anyone ever picks up my idea, and can make it look a little more Mark-V, I'd appretiate it completely :D... sorry about my vagueness before, and that I didn't search enough. But I think it could be done better, not that it wasn't good, it's all good, but there is room for improvement. Yours truely, The Good Doctor EDIT: For comparison, I'm throwing in the armor thats already been made. You know, compare apples, to apples. Cheers. Armor made by Zealotlee, I think.
  13. Hello all. I am addicted to Half-Life and Fallout. As you can probably tell from my name. When I played Fallout, I remembered in Ol' Olney, the Prototype Medical Power Armor. Which reminded me very much of a certain orange armor... Now, I'm no good with computer-stuff... at all. But I would *love* to see the HEV Protective Suit in Fallout, if just but for the fact that it stands out as a symbol of Hope. As I see it, it doesn't really interfere with Lore (considering in Half-Life, String-theory, and multiple universes are concepts touched upon, as is Teleportation, and alot of other theory), and it has that sort of glamor to it. Also as far as I can tell, this is the first request for this armor, but please do tell if it has been done before. Here's a referance, I guess, for the armor. I don't have many pictures, and using the SDK to try and find them is beyond my comprehension (Dangit, I'm a Doctor! ...Not a regular doctor!). Please help this poor ol' Man out :P Cheers and Goodluck, The One Free Man PS: Any works on a Crowbar, Glock 17, or reskin of the Rock-it-Launcher to the Zero Point Maniupulator Gun would be appretiated. Or if somehow you make a Gravity Gun, more power too you!!
