I wanted to post here, in case people found this article first and not one of the others that had the solution. Apparently this issue is caused by using the command "tgm" for toggling god mode and entering lava/molten metal. Although, it could also be caused by other kinds of catastrophic instantly killable damage while god mode is enabled. When this is done, an invisible item is added to the inventory that causes the effects, the most prominent ones I noticed were: mouth full of blood/bones, bloody spine when the character is nude, and bloody/bony bulging wrists. The fix is entering the command "player.removeitem 001E22E5" If you want to check this for yourself, use the command "player.showinventory" I did this after emptying my inventory of as much as possible, then using the command. I found multiple invisible objects that needed to be removed, like guns that I had added to my inventory, but weren't usable/visible.
