[What is your least favorite thing about Skyrim.]

I like the game a great deal, but it does very much lack much in the way of dialogue "choices" in a great many instances....this leaves you "moving forward" in dialogues, rather than roleplaying a lot of the time.

 

The second worst issue is the lack of knowing how you are doing, morally, in the eyes of other people. The only way you know people hate you is when they are trying to kill you. I miss the more subtle shades of grey when you do some little good or bad thing, and can check and see where you stand in the general world of things.

 

I think this hurts the game sense of interactivity within the world. It's a letdown from FO3 and Oblivion, in my opinion.

 

This I agree totally with. Also the range of skills has lessened from Oblivion and the speech skill is "invisible', making dialog even more bland. The mini game for speech was fun and I feel that was a good way to make and break friendships in-game. Seeing where you stand with any NPC was a huge immersion thing for me too.

You may be able to find the code to then advance it. I suggest this site

However ALWAYS ALWAYS SAVE before typing codes in as once you advance a quest it is impossible to go back, even with the console, and repeat it.

 

Not only do they have console codes but you can also look up the quest and they have many of those codes also.

[Misc.quest Find the "Last King of the Alyeds" (spelling?)]

To whom it may concern,

 

I got the quest from the orc librarian at the college of mages. Go find the "Last King of the Alyeds" in the Somethingorother Towers. (the ones east of Whiterun that has the bridge spanning the river with the bandits that attack anyone passing by). Well I have already cleared the towers and got the book. But the quest wanted me to return (via map marker). When I got back it directed me (the floating marker) to the chest (now empty) that held the book. It will not let me put the book back because I cannot drop or store quest items.

 

So I was hoping somebody might know the console command that advances a quest (and the format to use, for I have no idea what the quest ID is or how to get it).

 

Man I love this game but I will go mad and then sublimate if I can't figure this out.

[Are the skill requirements for F:NV too high?]

When I get a shiny new gun at lvl 3 and try to use it only to shoot everything including myself and completly miss my target because my simple assault rifle needs my skill at 100!!!!????

 

This does not seem right to me. Will somebody please make a mod that subtracts 25% off all weapon skill requirements, and values that are less than zero equal zero. What I would like is a mod that does the stat change for all weapons, so that I don't have to change them 1 at a time in FNVE. I am new to modding and this is over my head right now.
