Nexus Mods Profile

  1. Skyrim Parallax is fine. Just not for my 4GB VRAM Potato if i want to go heavier later with more mods. Especially Quests/ Worldspaces and fill up more Space = More Data to load.
  2. You must have accidentially switched profile or clicked something lol not sure what but one way this could happen is if there are not animations active anymore or their framework. Sorting surely wouldn't cause that problem at all.
  3. You could try to clean all unfinished ongoing processes at the left bottom pannel. I remember it used to have such issues especially with large files even when adding to mod manager or installations freezing for a while. It became more heavy when you started exceeding 100+ plugins and i think the plugin limit is also 250 or something.
  4. My post wasn't constructive just a useless rant so i deleted it. The point stands though: Controlled Environments like Nexus Mods have rules and regulations that prevent Toxic Behavior and Toxic Competition. This isn't the case with a Split up community on Social Media's (Reddit/ Discord/ Patreon etc. because Modding is technically new there and isn't a Balanced and Regulated Environment, compared to THE GOOD OLD FORUMS nobody uses anymore, in favour of Social Medias so ''Circles/ Communities'' are more ''Closed and unapproachable'' by Newcomers or Strangers who are late to the party. The main reason you wont find much communication is simply the lack of interest for an Old Game such as Skyrim, Age and Social Perspective and Standard differences, many reasons. Communication also remains non-social and cold, instead of friendly and open so don't expect much of it, society is reflected on the Internet as well. Ignore everything negative and be on your own as much as you can.
  5. Thank you. You're right. Was using other browsers lately. Chrome/ Internet Explorer/ Opera.
  6. It was. Problem is Adobe Flash Player was still Installed and it was causing the whole slowdown. Especially with Firefox.
  7. Adobe Flash Player Support was discontinued in 2020 by Adobe. Uninstall it and experience high performance Site loading speed. I had this issue appear the last days and tried to make sure what the cause was. It was funny when i discovered the News even if a Year Late.
  8. Here are some tips: Engine Fixes and other modifications concerning Papyrus can help greatly with Performance bugs such as stutter when turning around etc. SSE Display Tweaks will make the Game run smoother as much as your monitor refresh rate allows. Whatever Mod distributes Items/ Effects to leveled lists is better if it uses Spell Perk Item Distributor instead of cloak spells for example. SPID has an INI for that. In regards to Scripts, you just want to find the most Lightweight alternatives that don't rely on constantly running scripts in the background. A mod can have a ton of scripts but if its a Trigger only its ok. Same goes for Quest Mods that rely on a Quest running constantly. There are alternatives. Some mods also need propper polishing. I avoid those. Doing some basic Optimization to textures for your load order with Cathedral Asset Optimizer saves alot of VRAM as do BC7 Compressions. There is alot of Texture Mods that have too big of a file size while other ''Better'' are smaller, this plays a big role for the Engine Loading them. I for example use a 2K-1K retexture for everything in the Game except Dragons/ Sky/ Mountains that must be bigger 4K-8K. Your Hardware could be a Beast but Skyrim's Engine is older than other Games and has trouble processing in the same speed as they do. Propper patching and conflict resolution aside from helping with stability, also help the Engine determine rules/ values/ priorities properly. There is quality and performance even in Scripts. Some Scripting is simply better and more proffesional. ENB no matter what needs some Ini modification for each user to be fully optimized for your hardware and load order otherwise its always taxing. ENB is a Hack and an attempt to make the Game look better but even its Creator says that the Engine is bad for ENB, and the Binaries themselves decrease the Engine's capability to Process Data and the more taxing that Data or the Effects applied the more it slows down. I am not a Fan of ENB for the exact reason and instead i rely on Weather Lighting mostly and let ENB handle the Colorgrading and Reflections (Wet Shaders etc. instead) but then again i like ENB in other Games where it works fine. Light and FX can also be important. I found Relighting Skyrim/ ELE/ Custom Light Bulb modifications and ENB Light to be much more customizable and consistent for each load order. LODs. LODs are a Lifesaver not just for Visual Quality but if done properly can deliver great Visuals and be much more performance friendly then the Vanilla LOD system. Lastly there is Physics and Collision per NPC. Because Skyrim's Physics are not as advanced and were never designed for stuff like that (such as HDT) any mod added Physics processed for each NPC can slow the Game down greatly as does Polygon count. With my newest Gameplay Load Order i finished modding today altough is till have to add some Character Overhauls (I added even Clutter and better Tomato's lol), i have 9 ESM's, 68 ESP's, 40 ESL's, (around 24 of ESP-ESL's are Patches) and my Mod List Size is 13,7GB and have alot of room for Quest and Aventure Mods while i covered everything else with Retextures, Combat/ Animation/ AI/ Perks Skills etc. I use a 4GB VRAM GPU and with ENB i reach 47FPS the lowest but mostly its around 52-54 in areas around Whiteruns City and over 55-57 always everywhere else with Trees/ Grass. In Snowy Areas it 60+ and Interiors with Retextures it goes over 70+ if i look at the Sky it reaches 87-90. GPU never exceeded 90% usage either. 4GB VRAM = Potato by todays standards but it runs smoothly. So its all a matter of Optimization.
  9. Updated with a Vanilla Environmental Enhancement Only Visual Overhaul that blends seamlessly and can be High Quality, ideal for Mid Range Systems but also Lightweight for Low End Systems with their different Texture Size Options. If somebody exceeds the Recommended System Requirements (More than 4GB VRAM) i recommend Skyrim 2020 Parallax Setup instead. There are also other Alternatives but i find they either change the Skyrim feel too much or introduce more Patching requirements and some zFighting (Large Reference Bugs) but that will depend on your own setup and preferences. Step by Step Installation: DynDOLOD Resources (Basic LODs)Blended Shorelines (Fixes Water Edges) Relighting Skyrim with Windows Shadows(Realism that covers everything, doesn't require Patches and is Consistent and even more FPS Friendly than ELFX. Works with ELE and ENB Light + Addons) Landscape Fixes for Grass ModsSkyrim Landscape and Water Fixes Realistic Water Two or Water for ENBImproved Water Performance for Realistic Water Two (Not necessary with ENB Water)Bright Waterfall Fix for Realistic Water Two (Eliminates Bright Waterfalls during Night Time. There is also a Water for ENB Version) Noble Skyrim (Covers Everything including Clutter. SMIM users will need some Patches)HD Lods Textures (For its Architecture LODs. I deleted the rest)Rustic DragonsRustic Elder ScrollRustic Clutter CollectionRustic Soul Gems Better Dynamic Snow (Blends Snow with everything and mimics fresh fallen Snow)Better Dynamic Ash (For South Solstheim) Tamrielic Textures(Comes with its own Projected Diffuse Maps for snow to be used with BDS that has a better effect on Wooden Planks. Covers Every Landscape but introduces better Mountains and Terrain then Noble Skyrim plus Blended Roads) HD Terrain Noise Texture (Necessary for perfectly matching Distant Terrain Textures LODs, with Close Distance Textures otherwise Distant Terrain might look too Dark. Tested even without it to Generate Brighter LODs but it only makes the Noise ugglier). DynDOLOD Bright LOD Waterfall Fix - Realistic Water Two or Water for ENB version (Eliminates Bright Waterfall LODs) Enhanced Vanilla Trees(Many custom options that covers all Trees and introduces Skyrim Flora Overhaul Snowy Lush Trees including Realistic Aspen Trees, allows for Tree Size and Bark customization including different Branch Color Options) xLODGen_OutputDynDOLOD_TexturesDynDOLOD_Output Skyrim Flora Overhaul (Grasses and Plants only, otherwise not compatible with EVT)There are alternatives of course but it matches the best with EVT, i believe its the more realistic as well and is indeed Performance Friendly. Most of SFOs FPS issues are related to its Dense Forests (Trees) not its Grass. Smooth Sky Mesh Any Weather Modification (I use Obsidian Weathers, Yee-A Snowflake mod, Ethereal Clouds, Night Skies-Milky Realism) Ancient Dwemer Metal (Oldrim)Dwemer Pipework Redone (SSE)Ancient Dwemer Metal Patches (SSE Patches)Improved Dwemer GlassLava ReplacerDwemer Elevator Tower Lights (Also added Dwemer tech Glowmapped) Further FX Modifications include (Arctic - Frost Effects Redux, Embers XD, Voltage)Further Retextures include Dragon Priests Retexture and Eyes and Staff of Magnus by the same authorClever Charfs Apocrypha Choices of Textures took Performance into account and quality at the same time while preserving Vanilla Aesthetics and Enhance them, thus i wont add here anything else that is entirely user preference depending on his/hers own Gameplay/ Storyline Theme Choices.I wont cover Body Hair Character and NPCs Retextures either because these are also highly user Preference and they work more or less the same Performance wise as long as they are not High Polygon and don't rely on HDT Physics. Note, alot of these Textures include a variety of Texture Size Options and might also work for people with lower than 4GB VRAM but that will depend completely on ENB or not, or ENB INI Settings, Skyrim Preference INI Settings, DynDOLOD Settings, GPU Driver Settings. Its also recommended to do a Custom Optimization for your Load Order with (Cathedral Asset Optimizer) Just do not downscale Texture Size, instead pick the right option for your hardware or you will experience serious bugs unless you know propper resizing.
  10. I personally use SkyHUD with Oblivion theme. But there are other Custom Themes for it. There is also iHUD, highly customizable with alot of functionality. There is nothing that comes even close but of course it all depends what someone wants from a HUD i guess.
  11. I would check out Team Tal Armor Mods to see if its included. Pretty sure i saw it somewhere, maybe BDO Armor Packs. Eskyrim blog might also be a source to check i have no idea. Could be difficult to find it. I could also be wrong though...
  12. Not anymore. I used to play with Parallax but dropped it. I think that Snow Pile is simply a Mesh problem but i have no idea how to edit a mesh directly. Maybe whatever modifies Landscapes is doing it so i would ask there.
  13. Well it does work but after testing i reverted to BDS 3. Just like it more. Seems mosts of my issues were related to Terrain Noise and Retexture Combinations. Results might differ for each user wether one or the other is the better option.
  14. Btw. found this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/56235 Simplicity of Snow. It seems it even covers some Vanilla Meshes that otherwise didn't have correct UV Mapping and blends them too. For example some rocks as you exit Dawnstar. Better Brightness blending and uses your Snow Textures. I still use the Projecteddiffuse Patch of course. Its only requirement is SMIM (Which also fixes alot of meshes), propably for the Farmhouse UV Fixes. I tested it and it just works.
  15. All you need is the necessary Files being installed and they will be always available in the MO2 Mods folder. You could even re-pack and un-pack as many times as you want when doing clean installations for example. The problem comes when a mod provides different features during installation option checks because you wont have the actual file with all its installation options should you need it. I would say its best to keep them unless you don't mind redownloading while testing mods like i do. Have downloaded some Weather mod features today dozens of times for example because once installed i delete them. So its best to keep them till certain obviously...
