I'm getting too old for this.

While playing "The Forsworn Conspiracy", I've noticed something strange with NPCs. It's not just with them though. Eltrys approached me normally, I got the quest. I went to Carmella to do that Mara's Love quest and I did it. When Carmella was running for that girl he loves, he got near her, but then went to her left side, and got back to the site he was before, then they talked. Now, for "The Forsworn Conspiracy" quest, it gets worse; I got in The Warrens and searched that Forsworn guy's room, when I got out, some Brawling Henchman tried (yes, tried) facing me and talking to me, but he moved the same way Carmella did. Finally I had to talk to him. I went to "The Nose", I talked with him and such, and then when I asked him "Why are you telling me all this?", he was supposed to attack me but he didn't. I then alt+tabbed, and the moment I know he now attacks. It probably took him 1 minute or more to attack me. Was he actually thinking about doing it?! Now, when I had to get to Eltrys' hideout again, I saw him there dead, which is normal, but there were only 2 guards instead of two. I went outside and waited 24 hours, the 3rd guard appeared inside. He, just like that Brawling Henchman, tried talking to me but he couldn't. I had to do it. Why are my NPCs so stupid? Should I put my list of mods? If so, how can I do that? For more information, I can only recall Deadly Mutilation being a new fresh installed mod. It couldn't be it causing the problems, could it? EDIT: Highly doubt it is, since I installed it when I was on "The Nose"'s house, and I still had this bug with Carmella.

How to majorly increase performance?
KillerHell replied to GunnerofLife's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
I think OSR CAN actually increase performance. Just enable heap replacement. I can't guarantee it though, my knowledge about OSR is mostly "learned from others". -
So I was just playing Skyrim for about 30 minutes or more, and strangely, the game goes slow for no reason. I had a stable 60 fps on all locations, except the outsides that have a lot of vegetation (My fault for using that mod anyway) but that is not it. It is just that suddenly, when I enter an indoor area (Like the inns at Windhelm) and get out of it, the outside starts to be a lot slower than usual, 25 FPS instead of the stable 60 FPS, but as far as I can tell, there is actually no reason for it to act like it. I think this purely happens after getting indoors, but I'm not too sure. I am very sure that this is not caused by a mod, though I don't really do "clean saves" as they call it. Anti-Aliasing is set on menu by 2, yet I use an injector SMAA. Whole graphics are at Ultra, using some tweaks but they only reduce mouse lag. Is there a fix for this?

Not sure if I said it right, but I think it is another problem. So, I had uGridstoload set to 7, but I wanted to set it back to 5, so I used one of those "fixes". But apparently, after Part 7, the game crashed. I did "saveini" and "refreshini" but, game crashed...I got back to Skyrim, the menu is discoloured, it is red. When I try to play my saves it instantly crashes. I am thinking it really is uGrids...Anyway, that fix, I don't think it will work anymore, so I guess I will go find other fixes, or try SD's. EDIT: So, an .INI file was on my Data, called "WATER.INI", I removed it and now the logos are no longer red, but I don't think the saves still work. EDIT2: Finally, the save does work and so did this "fix" I found, thanks for the help. Now for other problems, I'll make other threads.

So, I was taking that "5 easy tweaks" on Nvidia's webpage (and apparently, the "founders" of those tweaks were the guys at Tweakguides), tried uGrids. I had uGrids long ago, but it was actually worthless so I preferred more performance than quality. I wanted to set it to 5 back again, instead of 7. I followed the guide to restore it back to 5, but at the 7th or so step (The one where you save your ini), instead of making a save and quitting, after alt+tabbing back to Skyrim, it crashed. When I restarted Skyrim... The logo was red, the loading screen was red, quicksave INSTANTLY crashes, the "new" save, one at the start of Skyrim apparently, is buggy as hell (Player runs without control). I tried a lot, like removing/changing the Skyrim.INI and so on, no changes at all, no fix. How can I fix this? It really bothers me.

Finding Form ID (Or Object ID) with NVSE
KillerHell replied to KillerHell's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Thanks, I knew it was the "GBO" function but I was rather confused, apparently it was to put the FormID first and then finally add ".gbo" at the end. -
Long Loading Times, even if my computer has good specs.
KillerHell replied to KillerHell's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Haha, yeah sure, maybe Skyrim can "bring it to it knees" but only when you heavily graphically mod it. I already did what you said, not much help with those. I'm still thinking it's all because of the 1.6 patch. -
I've noticed that I get VERY long loading times. I always had them in around 2-10 seconds, which is apparently normal for every Skyrim PC player. But now, when I go from a place to another, it's like 2 minutes or more. I've never had this problem before, sure I do use some mods, even graphical, but most of them are rather just small changes. And my computer specs reach the recommended settings, and as I said before, if it could load 2-10 seconds, it should STILL do so. My specs; OS = Windows 7 64-bit Graphics card = Nvidia 285GTX Processor = Intel Quad-core Q8400 2.66GHz RAM = 4gb Local Disk C (Harddrive) = 1 Terrabyte. 618 used space, 312 free space. Defragmented. If you want to know the mods, this picture shows them all; http://i48.tinypic.com/akdgrn.png I don't see any good explanation of why I get such long loading times. I did notice it's a common problem now though. Is this because of the 1.6 patch?

Greetings. I have SKSE, and it has a problem, you can't put the +fullproc command on it and it's annoying, I do need +fullproc I think I heard there's a way to do it without using "Properties" Anyone know how?
-
Greetings. So I use SKSE for SkyUI, and it's fine, except one problem; It will crash whenever I put +fullproc on target. Is there any way to make SKSE use +fullproc?

OBGE; Anti-Aliasing Problem

Bump. No more solutions for this? -
OBGE; Anti-Aliasing Problem
KillerHell replied to KillerHell's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Yep, do know how to put shaders. Thanks, I'll try it out and see if it works. Edit: Sadly, it didn't work. It was turned into yellow. Maybe I added shader on wrong path. I put it on Data/Shaders, that's the correct path right? -
OBGE; Anti-Aliasing Problem
KillerHell replied to KillerHell's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
No. As I mentioned before, I used Nvidia Inspector, which makes it obvious I have an Nvidia video card. Unless Nvidia Inspector can also use ATI. For anyone, my Nvidia Videocard is GTX285, updated to the latest version (266) and is normal-clocks -
Well, there's not really a problem with AA, just something very annoying, buggy and/or glitchy. First of all, I always use AA on all the games, 90% of them. I'm a person who hates jaggies, you know. When I got OBGE (Oblivion Graphics Extender) I realized it had no AA capability. So I removed it, but it was beautiful and I added it again. I tried so many ways to enable AA and such. But forget this story as this isn't the problem. I found out on a website that you can enable Oblivion Anti-Aliasing while OBGE is installed. By simply following an Nvidia tweak with Nvidia Inspector. As I did that, it did work. It was very nice. But the big problem is, that there is ALWAYS two cyan-to-white lines. They are very annoying, I want to remove them. Does anyone know how? I can give you a screenshot if needed. They're simply cyan-to-white lines on top and left, the top one is the most annoying. This destroys my gameplay, mostly when it's dark. I always had this problem, I thought VSync fixed this but it didn't. So, is there any fix for these annoying lines? I want to play OBGE with Anti-Aliasing. Other than that, can anyone tell me if VSync improves performance?

I tried it out. If I'm right the "Defender" is one of Marts' NPCs. It's great, but it still got some imbalance, I see some bosses with enchanted Daedric equipment, and I think I saw mages as well.
-
Hmm, that looks like an improved version of Modified Bandits. But, as I can see on the picture, it adds new armour. I don't really want new armour. Though I'll try it out, might as well like these armours. Edit: I didn't try yet, about to soon but I got a question. This modifies all of Oblivion's NPC equipment, right? Like Modified Bandits? I want it so the Martigens' NPCs also have more common and realistic equipment.
-
Sorry, I'd like to try it out but I'm too lazy to go on documentation again. Just want a simply .esp
-
That one? Never tried it. Does it contain the whole OOO or this only affects the Martigens' NPCs?
-
I already tried OOO, it was very unstable on me. And yes, I do have the official patches and all the DLCs. (Also the Unofficial ones) besides I didn't really like it much. And for curious people, yes, I did play Oblivion with only OOO and no other mod, still unstable. I'd just like if somebody made one that looks the same as "Modified Bandits" from Planet Oblivion, just no Dwarven and that's all, leave the rest by chances.
-
Greetings. I don't know anything about Leveled List, only that it's the reason why I see at level 30 millions of bandits full of Daedric armour. That is very realistic. I tried some mods to change it, the "modified highwaymen and bandits" worked alright, but it's only for those two groups. Modified Bandits worked the best, but it was very dull to see only steel and iron, it would be nice to see Elven stolen from Ayleid ruins and Orcish stoled from orcs, etc. Jarol's mod was good, but I still saw some NPCs with Daedric armour. And I use Martigens' Monster Mod, that means, the berserkers will always go with daedric greaves instead of what should be common and obvious (Fur) So I was finding and finding a good leveled list mod but didn't find any. All I need is a balanced one, with on exception, no Daedric at all. I want it to be modified on all groups, so even the Martigens' NPCs don't have Daedric and got what they would realistically have.
