Ok! so i just managed to fix it. To anyone who has the same issue go to the folder C:\Users\(your name)\Documents\My Games\Skyrim and delete EVERYTHING. I literally just pooped my pants when he started talking to me. Thanks for trying to help guys/

Just tried and once again no dice. I've tried uninstalling again reinstalling. Running in different compatabilitys. This is super stressful

like it would be fine if i could actually progress without the voices and talking. but he just sits there in the cart waiting for the guy to talk/

I thought that, but then their lips arent even moving. its like they are waiting for a script to trigger.

update is selected yes, and all the dlcs are included.

So I disabled both and it still won't work? He still just sits there looking at me

I do for the first 2 but I have not yet tried turning off the other two yet

its completely unmodded, straight out of the box so to speak. Just bought it yesterday.

Hey, I'm really hoping you guys can help. I recently bought skyrim on steam and after i boot up the game and start a new character, the first character who talks in the cart, wont speak, He turns his head at one point and just stares at me. I've tried resetting the game multiple times, and I've also uninstalled it a few times as well to no avail. I even tried to load up a save just before the character creation, but after I make the character the guy whos taking the notes again just stands there and stares at me. If someone could help me solve this it'd be much appreciated.
