Hi, I'm currently developing a custom tracker for Skyrim AE (or SE, it's practically the same), I'm quite new in this modding thing but after a few basic tutorials I could create a functional tracker with unique voice and the normal functions of a tracker, but it still lacks many things to add and I don't know how to do them really, I don't want to overwhelm with this series of questions I have, but I would appreciate if you could help me with them. 1: How can I make my custom follower refuse to follow me if I already have a follower following me? I have all the basic functions except that answer 2: How can I create a prerequisite mission for him to be my follower? By this I mean that before he is my follower he asks me to help him with a small problem (in this case killing the leader of some necromancers in a cave) it is supposed that the dialog is activated as soon as you interact with him, he will tell you that someone of your skills can serve him and you can ask him questions about the necromancer to kill and if you accept to help him he will pay you 500 septims (then I would also like to know how to make him give you X amount of items when you activate the dialog “I will help you”, in this case 500 septims). After the mission the player can talk to the follower and ask him to accompany him, the follower should drop a unique dialogue for that occasion saying that maybe they make a good team. 3: How can I make it drop comments depending on the mission, the item the player uses, the item the player equips and where they are? 4: How can I create a dialog option that shows more dialog options? An example: (Player: I want to talk a little bit. Follower: Ok, let's talk.) And so various dialogue options will appear from personal questions or what are you thinking about. 5: How can I add the function that every certain time (1 time per day, I know that to achieve this I must change a certain option to 24.0000, but I don't know what conditions I must add) the companion can give you a specific random item (in this case soul gems, from a very weak one to a black soul gem). I apologize if this can be annoying, but I haven't really found many sources that help in such a specific way.

Thanks for the clarification friend and I think I could try it, what obviously complicates the thing is that Casdin is an NPC from outside and not from an interior, although I could make you need to go somewhere with fast travel (or enter an interior) and then Casdin (replaced by the version that is companion, although I have to investigate how to do that first, geck is somewhat confusing and crashes a lot) would tell you that he was thinking and would accompany you perhaps in your travels in capital wasteland, he does not want to lose a valuable trader.

I mean I'm too new to this modding thing, I don't plan to do such complex jobs and I'm just starting to learn how to create companion mods, weapon replacements, new npc, etc and I want to ask a little thing, how can you turn an existing character into a companion? For example (in case of using TTW): I want to turn Protector Casdin into a companion after completing his mission without marking to give him a certain amount of items, does anyone know how to do that?
