That's not easy to choose ... I'll start with D'arci Stern from Urban Chaos (1999 game, so it's OK if no one remembers ^^). Tough, smart, determined rookie cop thrown into chaos at the beginning of her career, she never panics and keep fighting to protect her city no matter what. Even when supernatural threats appear, she keeps her wits and persevere. I love the fact we can either completely blow the criminals to hell or just arrest them. This is the first game where I tried to save everyone and not kill and I haven't stopped since ^^ Jade from Beyond Good and Evil. In the middle of a horrific war, this reporter decided to offer shelter to the orphans who had nowhere to go. She's kind, motherly, strong, sometimes vulnerable, and overall a very lovely person. I loved that she was awesome enough that we loved her, but she left enough room for everyone else. Urdnot Wrex from Mass Effect. Complete badass who lived for a long time, saw the numerous mistakes made by his people and decides to take charge and unify the Krogans. Very wise and interesting, I wish we could have had hours of dialogue with him, I would have just sat there and listen. He was great :) Mr Torgue from Borderlands. BECAUSE HE'S F%§KING BADASS!!! Also, he respects the ladies ^^

Whats your all time favorite RPG game.
JohanSutherland replied to drmfreezone's topic in Classic Games
Nice. I was expecting to see that here. That game is mind blowing. Love the team you can make, such unique characters  Yay :D Me I can't really choose. Basically Baldur's gate 1/2, Icewind Dale 1/2 and Planescape Torment are one the same level for me. Similar rules and mechanics, but a wildly different experience from one game to another. Rich story, awesome characters and places, epicness and such a complex and interesting combat system. Neverwinter Nights 1/2 and Kotor 1/2 come right after. Great mechanics, epic tales, I recommend them to any RPG lover out there. I agree, Origins was superb. What didn't you like about inquisition? I hated the restrictions on the equipment and the huge-ass weapons, but aside from that I thought it was pretty well done. -

I was very dissatisfied with Diablo 3 ^^ Riprock, on 19 Apr 2016 - 11:44 PM, said: However as far as just games- as opposed to simulation- go, Witcher III feels like the most polished game I have ever played. It simply worked out of the box and had a high quality of...everything...all the way through. Flawless for me and that *really* helps the experience. Plus the universe it is set in just works and makes sense to itself given the parameters you're handed. It never feels contrived or that the developers tried too hard, at least to me. It's not afraid to take a chance at going over the player's head, either. Well done. I only tried Skyrim and W3 in that list, but I agree with your comment. That game is superb. Great immersion, awesome mechanics, I just wish we could spend more time with Ciri. Ah well, maybe we'll get another game for that :) Man that's a long list ... ah well : Baldur's Gate 1/2 Planescape Torment Those three along with Icewind Dale are very dear to me. Hundreds of hours of my oung, innocent life where poured into them. So many different characters, such a rich universe. I still play them from time to time, try a new race, a new class, look for mods, they are just endlessly fun [:)] Neverwinter Nights 1/2 (online sucks) NWN introduced me to modding. I made my first quests, items, NPCs, and in the end a complete campaign on these games. My brother loved it, and kept pestering me to do more. Awesome toolset, so many options to create unique characters and places, I recommend it to everyone. Multiplayer is also very fun [:)] Deus Ex 2 (3 sucks, 1 is awesome) As much as I love the first one, and as much as I miss the skill system, something about Invisible War just fascinates me. I don't know what, I just love playing this game. A few things I don't like (you can't convince your sister to stay with you instead of listening to terrorists, can't flirt, can't save JC Denton from the AI overlord ...), but it's still an amazing game Tomb Raider 1/2/6/9/10/11 Those are my favourites, but the whole serie is great. I love that the 3 different Lara are unique. The original is more badass, maybe a tad too violent. The second one is more emotional, sometimes too much. The last one is really great. Sweet, but strong as hell and capable of mowing down her enemies like grass, and also smart. Also, she's definitely Wolverine's daughter and I'm waiting for a X-Men / Tomb Raider crossover game ^^ Fallout 1/2/Tactics/New Vegas The one I played most is probably Tactics. And yeah, it was kinda lightweight compared to the others, just combat and not much of anything else, but it was fun, and I loved making my squad of badasses and saving the wastelands in our kickass vehicles. Fable 1 The best of the serie. 2 was nice, 3 went to hell. The gameplay of the first one in infinitely fun, the world is very colourful and varied, the characters are very cool, I loved that our Avatar kept changing depending on how we played. Mine was mostly a white old overweight cuz I kept playing at night, used a lot of magic and kept feasting on pies XD Pod gold Best racing game ever. See for yourself : Skyrim I mean, of course. I've modded Skyrim to hell many times, had to reinstall, learned a lot. That game is just never-ending, with mods anyway. There is always more of everything. And I can't thanks the modding community enough for making it so great. I have more but it's enough for now I guess ^^

The most heart touching moments in Skyrim
JohanSutherland replied to FreddeN93's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
That quest broke my heart. Poor little girl ... I kinda wish would could have come back, play games with her, until she was ready to go. My first real emotional moment was when I was playing with my Jolana Cermak (Altmer/breton child rogue/mage). I was completely ignoring the main quest since she is my non-dohvakiin character, and one night I decided to sneak into Windhelm and steal some jewelery and other shiny things. As I was leaving a house, I saw Sofie sleeping in the street, with snow falling down on her. I could not just leave, so I reverse pick-pocketed my cloak on her and used console to make her wear it, sat beside her and charged the flame spell on both my hands, and then I waited till she woke up. The long way. I went to get coffee and came back and waited ^^. Seeing her so miserable changed this entire play-through. I of course bough all of her flowers, and then saved and came back on the nexus. After adding a few more mods, I went back to the game and asked her to go on adventures with me, since I couldn't adopt her (also, it would have been weird since my character was around her age ^^). I kept making adjustments in the mods I had just for her. As time passed, she learned a few spells, trained in archery, joined the college of Winterhold, and accompanied Jolana in most her adventures. And the main quest was never touched ^^ I understand that. I get attached to a lot of "minor characters", Lydia being one of them. I love how the actress was able to put a lot of life in her with a few lines. -
Ah well, I'm gonna work on it some more, I'm a bit shy with showing off my work ^^. But yeah, I'll definitely put something on the nexus. Thanks for the welcome

I've been downlaoding mods from the Nexus for years now, but I've decided to join the forumites only recently. I mostly play Skyrim (and after all that time I should really finish the main quest XD ), but also Oblivion, Morrowind, Fallout 3, Falout NV, Dragon Age 1/2 and Neverwinter Nights. Over the years, I've had many fantastic adventures thanks to all the modders who shared their work, so thanks for that guys, you're awesome  I've dabbled into modding myself, but nothing complicated (new spells, npcs, quests, slight change in dungeons ...). I should probably start posting that stuff somewhere so I can get feedback ... I'll think about it. So anyway, I'm sure I'll have a good time here, looking forward to it  Also, I'm French

Your Top 5 "Must Have" Follower/Companion Mods.
JohanSutherland replied to JJDrakken's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
It's nice to see Sofia getting so much love. She is pretty awesome  Ok, here's my list : 1 - Mirai The Girl with the Dragon Heart (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53867/?) She's adorable. Mirai lives in a cute house near Riverwood, has a cute pony, and wears cute flowers in her hair. The voice actress did a fantastic job, she's very pleasant to travel with. She has an interesting story and makes makes adventuring more fun. Bonus point for being very accurate in her spell casting. I've travelled with her for dozens of hours, and she never hit me once. Go check the pictures, she's so cute  2 - Arissa The Wandering Rogue (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53754/?) Very interesting companion, with a great voice. She dual wields like a boss and has interesting reactions to your actions (she likes you more when you do stealthy stuff, ...). She comments on the places you go, on events, has cool quests and tons of dialogue. Now if only she could drop the torch when we sneak ... 3 - Sofia (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54527/?) Hilarious companion, tons of dialogues, her own versions of the Skyrim songs (that alone make her worth traveling with). She'll keep you laughing  4 - GARM THE HUSKY (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33061/?) Garn is awesome. All the cuteness of the Skyrim doggies, + 100 stealth, + Light Foot perk. He'll folow you everywhere, share all of our adventures. Nothing else to say really, I love doggies  5 - Den Nordskav The Dovahkiin Many people made mods to recreate their other Dovahkiin or Oblivion characters as companions, and I'm one of them. Den is my first Skyrim character (Nord/RedGuard, heavy armor/shield-sword, no magic) and the easiest to play. I gave him a few shouts and tweaked him so he would emulate my fighting style, and now my cute elf thief-mage can travel with her big brother  I should work on him some more and put the mod on the nexus ... we'll see. -
Would People Play a Fallout 3 mod these days ?
JohanSutherland replied to alexmercer984's topic in Fallout 3's Discussion
A good indicator is to check out the Nexus, see if mods are still being made, how many and if they are downloaded. Just a few seconds in, I found mods made today, 3 hours ago, already downloaded. A mod made yesterday has +70 downloads. Another mod, a week old, has almost 2000 dowloads. People are still playing  -

lol poor Sam, he was traumatized XD -
That would be cool. I manually reset carry weight everytime I play (I play a tiny character ^^) and it's kind of a pain, I'm gonna look into that :)

JohanSutherland replied to alexmercer984's topic in Fallout 3's Discussion
I still play "old" games (Fallout 3, NV, Tactics, Oblivion, hell even Baldur's Gate, ...) and I love mods, so I will happily try whatever you want to make :)
