    I have serious graphical issues with this game. For some time it works just fine, but after playing 1-2 hours graphics just stop to work and nice looking desert turns into huge pixels with different colors. I have to shut down and start again game every now and then to play it. Very annoying. Otherwise it's good fps game, some sort of mix between fallout and doom. No wonder, it's made by same game makers! :laugh:

    Hey! i'm looking for companion mod where companion don't turn against you after you kill few guards. Every companion mod i have tried, companion refuses to follow you to an evil path and either stop defending you and they don't like you anymore or just they join the guards side and attack you. I want loyal companion for my evil characters, as simple as that. Is there any? Or can someone do that?

    What is the error you are getting?

     

     

    I think problem was in dll-files, even i tried to fix em, don't remember error code anymore. My default netbrowser and other browsers started crashing too. Java didn't work. Whole windows was messed up and i couldn't find the problem even i tried fix it for 2 days. I got tired and reinstalled windows. Now all works. Thanks for asking anyway. :)

    I have tip for monitor: If you have good tv with hdmi, use it as monitor. Just buy hdmi-cable and tv-table with wheels, if you need to move tv around a bit. Easiest is to put computertable 90 degrees from sofa (or wherever u watch tv from) and just turn tv 90 dgerees to use it as monitor. i myself have 32" full hd tv as monitor and it's just great. :biggrin: Way to safe money!

    i been waiting diablo 3 for a long time. So you say it has "wowkind" of graphics? I can't stand warcraft3 and wow graphics. Too bad if diablo is ruined with them too. They too cartoon-like! I watched few screenshots and what came my mind was 12 years old rpg game called Revenant (was great game at that time).

    Hi, i have big problem with reinstall. I have removed completely oblivion from my system, uninstalled it. removed documents folder, game folder, registry data, cleaned computer with ccleaner. Removed any file that has anything to do with oblivion, even my save games. Now i want to install vanilla back, but setup wont start. It gets some error and crashes after i hear some starting music.I have tried fix errors from drivers. I have tried to install some windows updates again, it didn't help. I have tried to install files with cab extractor. I get files but oblivion don't start whitout running setup properly. The problem is the setup that crashes not the game itself. What to do? i have red links in this thread, they don't help much. :sad:

     

     

    edit add: i try replace all dll files that show in error data next. i report here if it helps.

     

    Navigate to the C:\Program Files\Common File\installshield folder. Rename it. Try the install again.

    I tried that before and i tried it again, same crash appears.

     

    I think oblivion installs some dll files that make the crash. i have list of over 30 different files from error report and i don't really wanna mess with wrong files. Does anyone know, does installing oblivion add any new versions of dll-files in system32 folder and which ones? And does replacing wrong dll's with old version of them cause anything bad?

    Also my oblivion wasn't installed on default folder and i tried to fix dll-errors with 3 different programs. Nothing seems to work.

    Here is some ideas:

     

    Alien mask, (maybe just alien mesh used, and not xenomorph-alien)

    Predator mask is good idea, im huge fan of predators and i have made myself predator mask in real life too. Though i think there is already predator suit mod for fallout 3 that includes mask. But you could do new mask from movie Predators or just varies like ancient predator mask, celtic mask ect.

    Then Jason Vorhees mask is must! I dunno if it's already made.

    Also Myer's mask from Halloween could be nice.

    I'm also huge fan of Hellraiser, Pinhead mask would be very nice, but difficult to do?

    Gamers, uh, how they can put so many different people under one word? Let's see myself as example:

    I only play one online game. All my games are bought from shop and i have huge piles of gameboxes around. I never cheat online, but i cheat on singleplayer games. Only singleplayer. Cheating against other people is against my moral. I respect other people even i don't like to be with people. I'm somewhat lonely gamer, who don't even play online much.

     

    What this tells you? All gamers don't play online. Most gamers who play online don't talk so much about themselves. Only the part of gamers troll, cheat and ruin other ways netgaming societies. It's not all. Not even close.

    I haven't played any newest games and then i bought this one. Where is my healthbar? How i know when i die? What is this? I only tested the game, killed few first enemies, thats all. I bought PC game, not console one! Still this game is like on console. And there isn't even cheats. I cheat in games a lot, i admid it. I simply don't have patience and time to play whitout, and this game is so weird i'm gonna forget it under a huge pile of other games and install Deus ex 1. >:(

    Convert hair into wigs

    Simple way to make wig:

    All you need to use is construction set. For wigs, make copy of any helmet at armor list and change nif file and icon. Helmet mesh will be replaced by hair mesh. Then just place a container anywhere in tamriel and add your new wig in it or put wig on some merchants list if you wanna make it buyable. Save new esp file.

     

    Way to put hair on any race:

    I think u have MBP,(modular beutiful people) because you talk about moonshadow elves. In this case, you can put new hair in Beutiful people esm file. Go to construction set and open MBP esm file and esp files. Open character menu and choose hair. You can place new hair here. Remember make it playable. Then you must go race menu, drag your new hair to every races body mode hair box with mouse. Save new esp.

     

     

    Waht you need for these is construction set, hair mesh and texture and icon.

    Simple headmesh request

    This is very simple request to someone who has blender installed and know how to use it. Can someone enlarge normal human headmesh for me and post it as modding resource. I'd like to have double size head, as i'm trying to make gray alien race for oblivion. I only make textures and can resize the body, but head is always too small with normal headmesh. So please help me with this one, i give you credit of making mesh in this prospective mod. :thumbsup:

    Bloodrayne 2 problem

    Thanks for checking the game for me.

     

    I get crazy moving and lagg during moving mouse even at 5% both camera controls. So, if there is no fix for camera behaviour, i think i just forget the game and play bloodrayne 1 instead.

    I bought the HoMM collector's edition, which includes every game in the series, plus all their expansions, for R100, which equates to more or less 15 USD. It's on the Ubisoft budget range. If you're unsure, it's not that expensive and for 5 games plus their expansions, more than worth it.

     

    Thanks for reply. I don't know where to get collector's edition and i already have box that contains HOMM3 and 4 and their expansions, so i don't really need those. And i don't really care about 1 and 2. I saw box of HOMM5 and it's expansions in local shop and it was also around 15 € (almost same as 15 USD), i was just wondering is it worth to pay that for only 2 expansions of HOMM5. The game is after all only one of those strategy games i play, so i'm not sure if i get expansions after all.

    Yeah my game crashes too, not in using doors, but anywhere in game after few minutes of play. I installed new patch but it didn't help. I have edited ini's, reseted dirextshow, tried to use dlls that was supposed to fix crash, reinstalled game, used it with and whitout mods, but nothing helps, the game keeps crashing everytime same way.

    I been playing this game for some time. I like it more than HOMM3 or HOMM4. I was just wondering is it worth to buy gold version of game that has both expansions, tribes of east and hammer of fate, when i already have just basic version of game. Does these expansions bring lot of more content for game, like maps. I don't really play campaings, but more like custom maps with my friend or me alone against some computerplayers. So custom maps are what im after for. So do i buy gold version or just download new maps for basic game is my main question.
