  1. I tried to make a battle between 30 bandits and 30 guards. Everything was okay till they actually attacked each other. Only 60 actors moving at same time made the game freeze. Had to reboot. Population is small for a reason.
  2. Theres a console command for "forcing" marriage with any npc. I agree thought that Bethesda kinda failed in making only human npcs marriageable.

That command don't work on khajiit, because they don't have talking lines about marriage.

But there is another trick you can do, you can change any companions race to khajiit with console, although their voice will remain what it was.

  3. put speedmult 120...i think normal mult is 80 or something you have to run or sneak after inputing to update the speed

It says "script command 'speedmult' not found" - it was probably just my imagination, but it seemed almost faster after I put it in the first time, what you suggested I type. But now it doesn't feel much different, no matter what I type. Hmm.

    So...this command works for you?

its typed like this: player.setav speedmult 200

  4. Can I complete the quest without starting the main quest-line? I am trying to stay clear of the main quest for as long as possible but want to be able to do the civil war quests, is it possible?

No, the stupid Jarl of Whiterun demands you to start the main quest.

  5. Well, there's a theory that claims that the universe never began because it has always existed. It's known as a causality loop, where the universe first "began" in a point outside space called the White Room. It is an infinite plane where anything can be done or created because the law of physics does not exist here. If one were to suddenly introduce a component of the law of physics into this room, it would create a brand new universe with it's own laws and what have you. Simply put, if the theory is correct, a universe is created by another one. Although it is difficult to see how this is possible, the Causality Loop theory is backed up by the fact that the universe is a sphere. A sphere, If anyone knows their Geometry; has no beginning or an end. It just simply exists. I personally believe in the theory. It makes the most sense to me.

That does make sense, but in that case how do you explain the Big Bang?

if the case of the first theory were true, the Big Bang wouldnt need an explanation because it wouldnt have occurred. the Big Bang is just a theory as well.

on an interesting side note. did you know Gravity is a theory as well??!!

Yes, about Big bang. If space expands as much in every point, as some scientists have proven, there can't be a starting point, because expanding happens everywhere at same time. Dark matter increases everywhere same amount and with same speed.

And did you know that speed of light can't be measured? Why? Because every time you measure something in space, it has already changed, because expanding, therefor any measurements done in space aren't correct.

    Edit:

And about lifeforms, SETI has had already few weird signals from space, but because they never have repeated, they have been forgotten for some reason.

Here is the most known signal:

  6. A rat is a very nice pet. I had 2 rats ages ago. Too bad they only live three years, it's so short time. Kind of miss that noise of them grinding their teeth.

For taking a picture, give them something good to eat, that stops them running around, because they sit and use their front paws while eating.

Part of my username (rotta), means a rat in finnish.

  7. Hello Raatorotta and welcome to the debates forum. What bothers me is the power invested in a single doctor, that´s all it takes to take away your civic liberties and incarcerate you in a mental asylum, not a panel of experts, but a single doctor can make that call and the doctor wasn´t even a psychiatrist, but some GP at the hospital.

    Well thanks.

And yes i totally agree with you about influence of a single doctor. In my case the doctor was also some kind of trainee with not much of experience and she was replacing my usual doctor during a summer holiday. In general, if your mental care doctor fails to make any successful influence on you with writing a lot of recipies (that's all they can do) in short time, your doctor will be replaced by another one that tries to change your medication to something else that fails too, and they take you to some rehabilitation place and there is again different doctor, who knows nothing about previous treatments, and it goes on. I have had about 8 different doctors atleast trying to fix my damaged brain with different depression medications. I been in many places over years during this rehabilitation progress and they have finally started to ask from me (which i wonder a lot) that does this help anything at all. Are they really giving up on this? Yes, the progress has failed, I am still depressed and very very tired. But i just wonder can they really let me go like that? After all these years? Well, there would be still a meeting with psychiatrist once a month, but it's nothing really compared what i have been through. It seems that the society has finally given up at trying to make me a normal person. Maybe because it will be just cheaper to make me retired instead of paying all those rehabilitation treatments.

  8. I hear you, and i understand you fellow Finnish. They dragged me to mental hospital too. They lied that it would be a regular doctor visit, but when i did go there, they convienced me to "take a tour" in section, but when "tour" was done and i was about to leave, they didn't let me. I was forced to stay there for some weeks until they finally understood i wasn't so suicidal they had thought about. I learned there that I shouldn't never talk to a doctor about my suicidial feelings, that are very common, almost daily. Even i have those thought all the time, i'm not going to do anything, as i simply just don't care am i living or dead.
  9. Some of these non-marriable/recruitable NPCs belong to a faction named "FavorExcludedFaction" (ex. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Brynjolf) - does anyone think this is preventing the addtofaction command from working? Is there any way to remove them from that?

I don't know does it prevent adding npc to faction, but test it.

Removing someone from faction: addtofaction <faction id> -1

I would try that, but i'm not sure what the faction id for that is.

Type "help faction 0" on console and find it on list (browse list up and down with Page up and Page down keys)

  10.

Minority? Why there is then so many reports like that? And minority or not, it shouldn't happen at all. All what killing innocent civilians (by bomb dropped, shot from helicopter or invading houses) is only making more people angry at you and making them support terrorists and spread the war. Anyway, you are warring this war far beyond your borders. There wouldn't really be any major threat to your country if all those soldiers would watch over your borders instead of spreading war around the world.

  11. "Invading someones house and killing them makes no sense at all."

Still it happens, done by US troops.

    Examples:

edit: And about US citizens not knowing anything happening around the world, i can only say one thing: It seems your media has been isolated you from events around the world. I thought this only happens in failed communist countries like North Korea...Not USA.

  13. "Killing civilians in a justified war is not a problem."

Killing innocent people is always a problem!

edit add: What would you think, if some foreign army with "justified war", would invade your home and kill your family thinking they are enemy just because where they they live in?
