  1. Because really, that's what mods are. Content by the people, of the people, for the people.
  2. I have been struggling with this for a while, even through the 1.32 update was supposed to fix the issue altogether. After solving this problem I have a few suggestions for anyone still struggling 1. Update to the latest PerMa and PaMa versions available. This seems like a no-brainer but it can make a huge difference 2. if you're struggling with getting the patcher to work, i.e memory errors, turn off all your mods, then activate the Unofficial patches, the DLC, anything that SkyRe specifically needs a patch for, anything containing weapons/armor, and small gameplay overhauls (i.e. Sneak Tools Overhaul, Apocalypse Spells, Ultimate Combat, Dragon Combat Overhauls, etc.) This will ensure that you are patching the things that are of greatest importance, the things that SkyRe will need to take into account when calculating damage and such without overloading Java and causing the patcher to crash. 3. Remove/delete ALL old patcher files. I didn't get anything to work properly until I deleted all the old patches and created a brand new one. For one thing, most people have an evolving mods list and the patcher may start looking for weapons or spells or ASIS data that simply isn't there.
  3. For those of us with Steam, sometimes shutting down the Steam background processes can help. Don't know why. Also, having BOSS orders or Tes5Edit working in the background can cause NMM to crash.
