Threeshades

Basically all im looking for is an item that forces versatile weapons to be wielded in one hand by occupying the other. Some classes can get the duelling style but have no shield proficiency so they can't use it with versatile weapons (such as my Blades bard). I imagine that would be very easily achievable by making what is effectively a shield item that doesn't have a visible model, add AC, or anything else and that every class is proficient with.

I just found the hireling system in this game and my god is it bad. They have all the drawbacks of both custom characters (no interesting story and dialogue to explore) and story companions (pre-built, no option to customize their appearance) with none of the advantages of either. This mod needs to happen so bad. Im so tired of dragging astarion and shadowheart everywhere and have them permanently occupy all but one companion slot because no one else can reliably heal or deal with traps and locks.
