Hi, I was trying out phinix enb but when I opened it, the visual effect it gave was minimal but I did get a huge fps drop. So I decided to uninstall. I may have broken something because after that, all my saves that were outdoor wouldn't load but instantlly crash to desktop upon load. This also happens when I select new game. I already check the integrity of the gamefiles with steam and it did say I was missing some files which it redownloaded. If I launch the game normally without mods or skse I can still create a new character, so something is wrong with Mod Organizer I think. I also have these Papyrus Logs on one of the crashes, they seem to point to "immersive children", but before I tried out the enb everything was working fine, including that mod. Disabling that mod or all of the mods in Mod Organizer doesn't change anything, I can only load indoor saves. Other crash reports strangely seem to point out mods that I didn't even install, for example I saw Belua Sanguinare mentioned in one of them which is a mod I don't even have. I really hope someone knows what to do because I don't want to start all over again...

Hi, I'm currently building my modlist for a new playthrough. And I was wondering weather Vivid weathers is actually compatible with Better Vampires. I haven't turned into a vampire, but so far I've noticed (in the MCM menu) that in interiors (with elfx) the mod seems to detect light levels just fine but when I'm outside it doesn't detect tree shadows and the lightlevel detection only seems to change when I'm standing under a structure. In another topic I've read that Better Vampires doesn't even detect Vivid Weather's weathers correctly, like mist . Does anyone have experience with this? Should I just use another Weather mod?

So I was trying to install some mods to improve the appearance of the Vampire Lord. I installed Grimoas Vampire Lord and an HD retexture. The last mod I wanted to install is one that is no longer available on the Nexus, but I was still able to find it on another site: Larger Vampire Lord WIngs. Now this mod is one that I used in the past and is compatible with all vampire lord wing remodels as well as vanilla. It does what it says and basically just makes them bigger. When I installed it through Nexus Mod Manager it worked just fine, but through Mod Organizer it doesn't. It gives me the following error upon running my game: failed to read mod (Larger Vampire Lord Wings): failed to parse bsa E:/Mod Organizer/mods/Larger Vampire Lord WIngs.bsa: not a bsa file (filename: E:\Mod Organizer\mods\Larger Vampire Lord WIngs\Larger Vampire Lord WIngs.bsa) I know this file should work as I got it from the same place when I installed it through NMM, but even back then I knew there was something wrong with the bsa file as editors didn't let me take a look at it. It was required for the mod to work though. Manually installing the mod in the game's Data folder also doesn't seem to work. Is there anyway to make this thing work with MO?

Hi, and first of all sorry for necroing this thread. I've recently downloaded this game for pc and wanted to install some texture mods. I installed Dragon Age Redesigned, only the textures, not the actual mod, and now I have this exact same issue. When I remove the Dracomies Textures VI file from the override folder the blood is normal again. It is definately not a vanilla issue. I would really like to use these textures as they are vastly superiour to the vanilla game but I can't seem to open the file with any of the erf editors I could find.

My CPU is working at 100% all the time, no spikes, dips or anything. The problem does occur every time I play Skyrim, but not constantly, I have areas and places where I get solid 60 fps and no lag at all. The problem mostly happens in outside areas. Interestingly in those outdoor areas I seem to be getting freezes that can last several seconds when I switch my weapons via my hotkeys. Once I have used my weapons a couple of times, they disappear though. 1. I was running the game in windowed mode, changed it to full screen, no change. I don't think I'm using the onetweak mod. Should I? 2. Not sure where you can see this, but I assume it is the setting you recommended to change in the next step with turn hard disk off. If so, then no change here either. 3. The Power Plan was already set to High Performance for me, doesn't seem to affect the game at all. 4. Vsync, was not turned on in my .ini file, I enforced it through Nvidea's Control Panel. With all my vsync options disabled, my fps would jump to over 500 in the loading screens but ingame, in outdoor areas it was basically the same, would go to about 70 fps indoors. At your suggestion, I downloaded MSI Afterburner and locked the framerate to 60 in the app. This didn't improve my performance, and instead caused screen tearing (I have a 60 Hz ultrawide monitor btw). This tearing interestingly enough became worse when I lowered the shadow settings in my SkyrimPrefs.ini. 5. I tried locking my framerate using enb aswell, and for some reason it seems to lock it at 30 fps instead of the 60 I tell it to lock it at. Either that or it actually decreases my performance. Anyway, I would prefer not having to use this option, as I am using Gopher's nightvision mod, which is incompatible with Realvision enb, so I use shift+F12, to turn it off while turning on nightvision with F12. Using this method that would ofcourse unlock the framerate everytime I turn on nightvision.

Ok so ever since I bought my rig about a year ago I have been unhappy with my game's performance. I'm experiencing massive lagspikes, aswell as lots of random CTD's. I made a thread about it a long time ago, and was told it was the 4GB vram limitation for DX9 games on Windows 10. I have recently downloaded the Falls Creator's Update though, which should fix this. This hasn't improved my performance whatsoever. Now I downloaded Skyrim performance monitor and the results it give seem rather interesting to me: These screenshots, besides giving the necessary information of my system specs, show that neither my CPU or my GPU are at full capacity, yet I get fps drops to as low as 10 fps in some places (not shown because I only did a 5 minute run in a forested area here). So I guess something's bottlenecking my performance, but I have no clue as to what it could be. These drops happen with or without ENB enabled, so that is not the issue (I am using the full version of Realvision btw). I really am at a loss here, help would be much appreciated. Ok, so I've been working on my own version of Zab's Witch Hat (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=11301), a Steam exclusive mod. I basically made an HD retexture of the mod to go together nicely with the Rustic Clothing mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69784/?) To give you an idea of what it looks like, here is a screenshot: Now I also renamed the hats, made college robes varients and altered the properties of the magical hats to make them a bit more reasonable. But the problem I'm having is with the leveled lists part of the mod, hence the topic title. I used the same leveled lists edits as the original mod, which puts the hats in the leveled lists for warlocks and necromancers. It works fine, but a problem occurs when the mages are using the hooded version of their robes. The game can't equip both hooded robes and a piece of headgear together so it overwrites the vanilla item with the item from the mod. This means that when those two items spawn together, the npc wearing them will basically be naked (except for the hat and boots). I was wondering if there is a way to make sure the hats only spawn in combination with the non-hooded robes or at least make sure that if they do spawn together, it is the robes that will be equiped and not the hats. If it is not possible than really it doesn't matter all that much, after all it was an issue with the original mod as well, but I still would like to fix it.

If you're running ENB, did you update enblocal.ini? I know when I first downloaded the update I forgot to do that and had the same issue.I know the post above mentions that the 10224 is sufficient, but I noticed I got a consistent 60 FPS with very minimal drops to 54 or 51 once I bumped it up to about 500 less than my max VRAM and I have less than 300 mods running I have updated enblocal.ini but even when I turn off enb with shift+f12 I still get those massive fps drops over there, so I don't think they're enb related.

So I just downloaded the update and the game does feel a little smoother but I am still experiencing lag spikes. In Markarth for example my fps still drops to 16 fps! This is with JK's Markarth and SKY CITY Markarth installed, and no major environmental texture mods, only the Official Bethesda HD texture Pack. My system specs are the following: CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 3.40 GHz 16 GB RAM Graphics: Gigabyte GTX 1070 8 GB VRamSizeDX9.exe is giving me 16224 Any ideas what could be wrong? Surely with this hardware and now the fix to DX9 I should be getting better performance?
