Crashing when pressing inspect on apparel items
Codeslamer replied to Codeslamer's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
And I think we're now good. I got the older NMM because I couldn't figure out MO2, and uninstalled, redownloaded and installed everything. Turns out that having concealed armors and AE installed at the same time (for me atleast) breaks the game. Sure, it's not the perfect solution, but I digress. I probably wouldn't have used the mod anyway. Thanks for helping me sort this out! :) -

Crashing when pressing inspect on apparel items
Codeslamer replied to Codeslamer's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Since the last post I disabled everything apart from AE and the AWKCR thing, and it still does it. So it's probably that they weren't installed correctly or something. Do you know any other way of installing them other than through NMM? -
Crashing when pressing inspect on apparel items
Codeslamer replied to Codeslamer's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Right, so I have been doing tests (which involved many game restarts. Much to the annoyance of steam friends :D) and turning off armorsmith extended and everything needing it makes it work. Turning it on without the other things breaks it again. I think that is as far as my knowledge will probably take me sadly. I'll keep checking things however -

Also, would anything be affected if I installed those 2 mods completly and reinstalled them fresh? Also should I install them in any specific order? -

Those would be files that come in the 'AE merged' files, correct? I could try installing them and see if anything changes. Do you know if anything bad would happen if I were to install one that I didn't need accidently? Or installed one where I didn't have all the outfit mods for? -
NMM keeps turning off all plugins and mods
Codeslamer replied to Chotak25's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Don't know if this'll help, but I had the same problem abit ago, and what I did first was update NMM to the latest ( if it wasn't already), and when it starts if it asks you about a file having read-only on/off, let it change it. After I did this most of the mods were staying checked but the ones that were installed in-game (with the in-game mod browser), kept unchecking. To fix this I had to delete all of these mods ingame, and then find the normal version on this site (or whereever else they are) and install them through NMM aswell. If NMM doesn't tell you about changing read only options, then go to the ini files (specifically the plugins one you said about) and check to see if it is read only. If it is, uncheck it then let Loot reorder the files again. It *should* work. (After this, it should be alright to make the file read-only again, if you'd like) -
What the title says. I haven't been in the game to see if anything else crashes it but I tried it on all items in the weapons tab and they worked normally. Edit: I've tested it now on all the other item tabs (the items I have on my character atleast) and they all work normally. It's just the apparel. This happens on the default items aswell (the wedding ring, for example). I've been reading around abit and apparently if it does this it's likely to do it when crafting aswell, so some help would be appreciated  ((Forgive me if posting this load order doesn't work. I have completly forgotten how to do it)) Instant edit: It worked! Easier than expected. Let me know if you need the .ini files or anything else like that.

So as usual when I buy an RPG like Skyrim, I install many mods with little knowledge of what they even do. And, as exspected, the game doesn't work properly. Bare in mind that I only just created a character, I noticed a fire lamp. And with that lamp there was no light from it. Atall. It was pretty dark. So, being a scrub I instantly come here to cry for help. Again. EDIT: It seems like it's fixed. For now atleast.

Random crashes, normally during combat.

Okay, so I found the ID number and it's: Player [00000014] I've also fixed the esp's so that they're not before the esm's. They were in bold so I skipped them when checking. My bad. I haven't been able to check the game properly yet but I should be able to soon. -

Okay, so I've made most of the changes in red apart from the AmyWong.esm since I don't know what the other requirements are. Also, because of my addiction to getting a lot of mods there are a few more in my load order which will probably cause more trouble than what they're worth. :/ (At least they're only really fixes.) I also didn't get the NPC_Player value number, simply because I don't know where to find it. So I also need help with finding that. Updated Load Order: Edit: Forgot the tools I'm using. I kinda used Boss to get the load order, well, in order (I say kinda because some things needed moving around), I use a 3GB thing to allow the game to get more RAM, and a fake full screen.exe so I can alt-tab out of the game. But even when I run the game right off the fose_loader.exe it still seems to have the same problems. Oh, and Fallout Mod Manager to install the mods and things. I think that's it. (Hope thats what you meant by tools :) ) -

As the title says. I've looked on the internet for fixes but none of the ones I've found have seemed to help much at all. Hope someone here might have a fix. My Load Order: -
I've been playing the game for about half a day now and I've noticed that the weather has never changed it hasn't rained once. I can make it rain or be cloudy however if I use the WARM esp thing which gives me the device at the start. I'm just wondering how long it takes for the weather to actually change, or if I'm missing something which means it's never going to change atall.

I didn't use any program to change the files in any way but I got my game from a friend who sent me a copy of it because I broke my disk and wanted to install fallout on a new PC. I don't see why his game would've been any different from mine. What does it mean? Edit: files fixed + removed quote to save space.

Spyro The Dragon 3. It was the first game I completed aswell, and it took me a long, long time. Atleast it felt like it

So Windows 10 is actually spyware.

The Spy stuff doesn't bother me much but AI has literally just been made. It probably won't kill anyone after you see how basic it is but just throwing that out there. No going back now... -
Windows 10 Officially Released - How is the experience?
Codeslamer replied to ElmoTheMuppet's topic in PC Gaming
How is the security? I don't actually have Windows 10 because of something that relates updates with security (unless it's changed. I haven't kept up with Windows 10 for awhile) Anyway, updates are forced on. You can set them to install within a month or right away. This can be a good thing, until you look back at some of the updates released on Vista and 7 which would cause things to break and blue screen. Like the update for Vista that started updating your computer when you pressed shut-down, and never finished. Upon a force reboot, still goes on and on. Now while none of this has nothing to do with security, the next bit does. It said somewhere that if you manage to find a way to avoid the updates completely, which is sometimes necessary to do important things, like, you know, make the computer work; then Microsoft claims that all of your security will be shut off. So at this point it doesn't matter how good or bad the security is, because there is none. So I'm staying away from Windows 10 for as long as possible. (As I said above, this might have changed. If it has, It'd be great to know so I can see if I might actually get Windows 10 or continue to avoid it completely) Edit: Just found another post in Hardware and Software which other people have said about the updates thing aswell, If you wanna look at that.- 18 replies

I'm having a problem with the rain on these two mods where I installed Enhanced Weather then installed Dynamic Weather and used the optional files such as the sandstorms and the rain file. Only problem is in-game I can hear the rain and the radiation from it (from the Enhanced Weather .esp) harms me but I don't see any rain. Not a drop. Can anyone help?
