I found a fix. 1) run command prompt in administrator mode than type in "net user administrator /active:yes" without the quotes 2) sign out than log into the new administrator account 3) On the new admin account, navigate to the locked folder. Right click on it and go to properties than to the security tab. 4) In the security tab, click on advanced than make sure your windows account is set as the owner, if it isn't than change it to your account. 5) Click on the box at the bottom that says "Replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object" 6) Log back into your normal account, navigate to the folder to make sure that you now have proper permissions. 7) If you do, than run skyrim once than reinstall your texture mods

I have absolutely no clue how this happened. Basically there's certain files in both my textures and meshes folder that are being denied access. Like I can't install anything that goes into those folders nor can I uninstall anything from them. In game I get missing textures because of this. When I try to physically go into those folders I get an error "access denied" I've given both steam AND NMM admin permission, I've tried disabling UAC thinking that was causing it, I even disabled my antivirus too, I even completely uninstalled steam itself and moved it to a new a folder outside of program files, and EVERYTHING so far hasn't worked. I have no clue what to do at this point. Any help? EDIT: Forgot to add this. I installed Skyrim to a new folder C:\Games2\steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim I only have a C drive and a D drive so I can't install it to a different drive

I had the same problem with the newest version of NMM. Nothing I did worked, from giving admin permission to disabling my antivirus, nothing. So I had to roll back to an older version of NMM and it's working again. Don't know how helpful this is but something to think about

I keep getting crashes and infinite loading screens, they generally happen everywhere though they're more prominent when I'm near whiterun. I get crashes around every 15-30 minutes in game, while infinite loading screens happen I'd say around 25% of the time I load in through a door or anything. No clue whats causing it? Any help would be appreciated it.. I'm using SKSE and LOOT, both are updated. I also use NMM for my mod manager... My specs are.. My game has a weird glitch, every time I wait or sleep, Jarl Balgruuf spawns next to me. He just says the casual lines like "may the gods watch over your battle friends" and when I try to interact with him, he starts walking back to whiterun. This happens no matter where I wait or sleep, it happens at any inn if I sleep there or if I sleep in a cave or anywhere else, he always spawns next to me, then decides to walk all the way back to whiterun... In response to post #19707899. I live in the US and I've been having this problem though I think you are correct because I noticed a -slight- increase in speed... I was getting around 20kbps and now it's around 50... really hoping this gets fixed soon Xd

I'm only getting about 22kb/s.... I use to get around 900kb/s... Is this going to be fixed soon because it's impossible to download any large mod :/
