Actually I planned on doing just that. Buying one good GPU and then buying another one later on after I have saved some money. The stuff I listed is the stuff I already bought. So I already have the Vertex 3. I just need to get Windows 7 Home 64bit and two video cards to crossfire.

He has a 360 with both FO3 and New Vegas. The problem is he has seen me play FO3 on the computer and wants the gun mods and I know he will want them for New Veags when he see me play it. I am almost done building me a new one. current build Antec 300 case Asus M5A97 Motherboard AMD Phenom II 965 X4 2X4GB G.Skill Ripjaws Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD OCZ Vertex 3 SSD Sony DVD Burner Rosewill 850W PSU All I am missing is OS and GPU which I plan on crossfiring (any suggestions here would be cool too) :) I will probably just build him a much cheaper rig than mine. I might be able to reuse the emachine case. I don't know about airflow in it tho. I might just get me a bigger case since I want to crossfire 2 GPU's and give him the 300 case. What if I upgraded the PSU to a 400W or 450W? And is 2GB the max ram? The motherboard specs say 4GB. I don't mind spending some to do this.

So this is the computer I have. Only thing I have upgraded over the years is two 2x1GB of ram and a 8600GT video card. What I want to know is if I can upgrade the CPU and what should I look for. Also the computer specs say upgradeable to 2GB Ram while the motherboard specs 4GB. Can I put 4GB in? It takes DDR2. Only other thing is if I can find a better video card and possibly PSU for it. I have played FO3 and Oblivion with it with glitches along they way and occasional crashes. All he will be doing is playing a few games on it. It won't be used for the internet except updates and such. I know he will want ot try New Veags on it when he sees me playing it on my new build and was wondering if that would be possible. Everywhere else I have asked have said buy a new computer and use this as a paperweight and have offered no other suggestions to what I am asking except changing the motherboard and cpu together. That is not an option at this time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow thank you for the quick responses. I had tried that 14e8f and it didn't work however when looking thru other posts about the same thing I noticed me and the other guy had one mod in common and that was Falloutremastered. I turned this mod off and of course I got the radio signals for the other downloaded content that it disables temporarily but it did start the Taking it Back quest. Which sucks because I like the fallout remastered. So if Jeoshua (sorry if I misspelled that) is reading it seems it might have something to do with that mod. Thanks again Eefluxx

I just escaped Raven Rock and the title "The American Dream" came up and said the quest was completed. However when I get to the citadel everyone is just standing around not talking. The Taking it back quest never popped up and it won't continue. I have tried several console commands and can't seem to figure out which one I need to use. I have a save right at the door leading me out of Raven Rock. I tried from an earlier save right after I was captured but to no avail. In the quest menu the Escape from Raven Rock is not ticked saying I completed it but the American Dream quest is dark and says I completed it. Is there a console command to finish the escape from raven rock or one I can use to start Taking it back? thanks Eefluxx

Most people I think play a modded version of Fallout 3 without Games for windows live. There is a Games for windows live disabler on the nexus you can download. I would suggest trying that and see if it works.

Ever since Nexus changed its layout I have had one small problem downloading. It's nothing major but in the old layout I would click download and either where I wanted to download it from or it automatically chose for me and I would click the dropdown bar at the top of screen saying it was okay to download and then click save and so on and boom I was done. Since the layout change when I click the dropbar to say it is okay to download it takes me back to the first page of the mod with the description and I have to repeat the process of downloading it again. After I do this then it downloads with no problem but only the files that are on that page. If I switch to a different mod to download I have to go thru the whole process again. Is there anyway I can get rid of the dropdown bar from windows asking me if it is okay to download to make this process quicker and so I don't have to do everything twice? It's not a big deal. I mean I still get the mods I want to get and all but it is a bit frustrating going thru this process for every different mod. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Eefluxx

It doesn't even have to include the slavers if you don't want it to. But some things, like the Red situation and the Marcella one, or the one I came across where I was in the Fairfax ruins and came up to a hut and two raiders attacked me. I killed the raiders and searched the hut to find a scavenger that they had killed. I searched the scavanger and got his things off his person, but then take a negative karma hit when I take things from his hut. Why? I mean he's dead, he's not gonna need them for anything, and I wasn't the one who killed him. If Ihad killed him then I can understand the negative hit to karma when I take his things but he was already dead when I showed up.

I did a search for "Owned" and it is similar but you still get bad karma for taking the items I don't think you should get bad karma since I didn't kill Red, the super mutants did. I didn't get Marcella either, the smugglers did. I did kill the slavers but I mean come on, they are slavers and it shouldn't be bad karma for taking their stuff

I have only played the main quest and some sidequests as well as all of Point Lookout and I was dissappointed that I got negative karma after killing the Paradise Falls slavers and "stealing" their items in Paradise Falls. I was also dissappointed when I found Marcella? dead and then lost karma for getting her medical supplies. I can understand the bad karma if they were still alive and you were actually stealing the stuff but if they are dead then its not like they are going to be using the items. So my request is a script of some sort that changes the bad karma affect if the NPC is dead. I don't know how many of these there are in the whole game and DLC's but if someone knows and can script then this should be a simple change. I am not asking for it to change all stealing for I feel if you go on a murder rampage and kill everyone in Megaton then it should still be stealing, but it's not your fault Marcella was killed and I know if Red dies in the one mission and you can't save her then it is considered stealing of her medical supplies in BigTown even though you can take anything else from there. And I would consider killing all the slavers and Eulogy Jones would be a good thing instead of becoming a slaver for them. I myself can't script for anything which is why I am asking.
