The journal issue is what got me looking around on here for a solution. I can load an older save with the messages working fine but if I interact with the computer or the mirror in V's apartment they break. I'm guessing the update has broken one of the mods I'm using. I'll wait for mod updates as long as I can before deleting all mods and starting fresh. I wanted to give you a heads up, I checked mods that may add messages, and the two I use personally, are Corrupt NCPD and Missing Persons. Apparently Corrupt NCPD, Missing Persons and Phone Messages OVERHAUL were causing the messages issue. NCPD and Missing Persons just got a patch this evening, so if you have those two, you should check them out and it should fix the issue. I don't use the 3rd one, Phone Messages Overhaul, because it typically requires you to restart from scratch which is a no-go from me.

I agree with several others, removing let there be flight and the game starts up. There are still some minor issues, like the Core Eyes mod I am using, before the update, my character had blue eyes, afterward, they are black and kinda freaky. Can't fix it, trying to change anything or add anything else makes the game CTD on loading a save. Separately, I seem to have found a bug in which I can't find a fix anywhere...my Journal doesn't have messages. Its just blank. Can't figure out what caused it, but it was working fine prior to the update. And before anyone asks, I do not use anything that mods the messages in Journal.

Yep, I have opted to wait until everything is updated, though on that front, questions arises....once everything important is updated, is it ultimately better to do a fresh install of everything? Or is it better to just overwrite? Granted, I know certain mods do indeed say to delete the old files not just overwrite them, but not all of them say to do so.
