@zaty1 Guns, violence, sex implied or depicted or real has been sadly glorified throughout human history (Guns recently in Dark Age era) and I know there is nothing I can do about requesting to remove depictions of those without bringing attention to it and even then, people will just go "You have no logic. End of discussion." I am talking about possibly the worst humanity has ever done and that's depicting children being hurt and yes I do find it offensive of the possibility of Playable Children in Mature Rated games because it opens up nefarious uses and what if some kids who visit Nexus downloads these mods and grow up with the mindset of not caring about depictions of children in video games or any media being abused? THIS is the bigger picture I am talking about and I am extremely thankful for Nexus putting a ban on depictions of underage children. Took far too long to enact that. Nexus has to chance to take part in ridding these mods with their possibilities. Sure there is no law against violent depictions of children but at one point, there were no laws against disgusting sexual abusive actions and then when people like me with families took action to ban such things, we won. I want the same thing for violent depictions of children and no matter how long it takes, I absolutely believe it should be just as illegal as sexual depictions of children. Everybody being mum and tight lipped on this is appalling. This is a horrible gateway possibility and it's sad that only family oriented people like me, a mother with a 10 year old daughter and a wonderful supportive husband, have the open-mindedness to put a focus on issues that should never be allowed. Nexus is a start and should not allow possible tastless and illegal mods the chance to seep out and that is something to rightfully be offended about and is something tagging it's possible prerequisites as offensive (related directly or indirectly) will not do anything. Only removing, banning, and reporting to the proper authorities should be mandatory.

To zaty1 I am not trying to police peoples' thoughts. My argument is that removing and banning mods that can have the possibility of atrocious uses involving children should be implemented. Why allow the possibility because Nexus is a very popular modding site and with popularity comes ease of use and mainsteam-i-fying unwelcoming content offsite. Are you a parent zaty1? Do you have children? Then imagine one seeing sick f**ks using children mods in this way. I am losing faith in people since everyone is so quick to not even bother discussing these issues such as you zaty1.

To wistfane and zaty1 Then why allow the possibility of a sick f**k to misuse mods in such a way with the Playable Children mod? I stated for everyone to see the bigger picture. I know Nexus has a strict rule for images of children but think about people misusing children mods offsite of Nexus. Everyone is being narrow-minded and focusing only on Nexus and not elsewhere online. Nexus is being used as a gateway to allowing people to combine mods like Playable Children for vile means. These are the only mods that offend me and imagine if you saw your child depicted in a mod or a childhood friend or a relative of yours who was a child. Think outside the box please or you'll see disgusting mod images like this http://static-1.nexusmods.com/15/mods/120/images/1903-1-1283660019.jpg (Which was actually on Nexus this year earlier from Children of the Wasteland) on other degenerate sites when all that had to be done was ban mods involving children. So, is me being a mother and having a daughter irrelevant in this post? How do you think you were born? I use these as frame of reference. I chose not to hyperlink so people will not get paranoid. Nexus provides the tools and access easily to people to mod and I will not tolerate child mods and the thought of some creep using child mods makes me want to kill that creep.

Personally I'd rather a tasteless mod be taken down but that is a very rare niche category for me. I simply do not want to see any mods involving children such as the Killable Children mods. What's next? Nude children mods? That is absolutely disgusting and I would truly castrate someone if I saw them playing a mod with like that (sorry for the expression that's just how I feel.) Don't give me the whole "1984" and "thought control" argument. Do not try to reason a horrendous mod possibility. It will not work on me. It seems the only thing that every single one of us can agree on is that a Nude Children mod is WRONG and disgusting (Who the hell would make such a mod) but why do people disagree with me on Killable Children and Playable Children mods? My whole summary was about Playable Children mods being a gateway to worse mods like I mentioned before. I know that by stating I am a mother with a daughter that some of you may unintentionally get irate but I'm just giving perspective on who I am. If I had to choose which mod to have removed then it would be solely the Killable Children Mods and possibly Playable Children mods if someone were to use it and promote mods sexualizing a depiction of a child. I will Absof***inglutely report that mod and the individual to the proper authorities. If I got off topic I apologize but that is what offends me and tagging such mods as offensive is not enough. I want to see them removed and anyone who even brings it up banned. Do not call me unreasonable because I hate the sight of depictions of children being abused physically. Why would a community modder waste their talent on horrible and vile content? I can't comprehend that at all ugh. I seriously feel nauseously ill after typing all of that. YUCK. EDIT: I will not pollute the mod comment section with my views so I see discussing this in a forum is appropriate.
