  1. Hi there! So this is something that has bugged me since I started playing Skyrim. Both you and your enemies always have the same amount of life/stamina/magicka, in visual terms. That means that, when I'm fighting a 2000 life enemyI feel that my attacks are weaker that when fighting stuff at low level, when bandits go down in a few slashes. The thing is, I'd like to know exactly how many hit points I'm dealing to my enemy, so I can feel how I'm getting stronger, as in level 1 I made about 20 of damage in each attack, and now I'm dealing 300 or so. So, the thing is, would it be possible to add numeric values to the stats on the UI? Thanks for reading! Oh, and I'd like to say sorry for any typos/grammar mistakes I made, as English is not my first language.
  2. There is a mod called Armed to the Teeth or something like that. It 'fixes' your second request. Don't know anything about the first one, sorry.
  3. I'd download that mod right away. I friggin' love that shout, but I can't use it as I always have my companion near or my horse...
  4. I can't wait to see a decent survival mod. New Vegas changed that point of view of me of games like this... Skyrim feels... empty, with all that food and that cool cooking system, but it's so useless. C'mon, people! Make this happen! :D
  5. Hey, my girlfriend plays Skyrim and she loves it, but she has developed some kind of... phobia? to Draugr, since the first encounter. She's playing well and all, but she's trying to avoid every dark cave or ruin, lol. I have even thought about requesting some kind of "my little pony" retexture for the Draugr, to seem less intimidating, or something. But, heh, I prefer her to face her fears.
  6. Those lines does not appear on my skyrim.ini
  7. But, hitting Tab also works... At least for me. When I first started the game, I spent 5 minutes yelling "this game is broken!!" because I kept pressing Esc to exit a barrel inventory.
  8. Oh, I thought I was the only one having that problem.
  9. I'm having that problem too, in Whiterun's house. I do not remember having it in any other place.
  10. I have the contrary issue. The horizontal movement of the camera is fine, but the vertical movement is just friggin fast. It's giving me headaches. At least I can run the game, I should be thankful.
  11. I am a Nord too, and it is true that camera positionates on the neck, or in the middle of the chest even. That's not cool.
  12. Sounds good. What about going adventuring with her?
  13. I think there is a console command to that. Maybe that will be possible after releasing the Creation kit. What about this? You buy a key, and if you use it on a container, the key dissapears and you claim the chest as your own.
  14. One of the dragons I killed dessapeared just when I turned my back. Other one just remained on its place (near a town), and when I fast travelled there after some time, the skeleton just fell of the sky right in front of me. You should have seen mi face. The rest of them are on their tombs, and that's a pretty awesome feature. One of them is on a small island in the centre of the starting village (Riverwood, wasn't it?). It fits perfectly!
  15. +1 to this. I like to have some kind of journal to annotate everything that should be annotated (chests, dangers of the way, recipes...)
  16. That's nice, and I've tried something similar in Fallout, but in my opinion, after some time, it's tedious, I'd prefer a simple version (hunger, thirst, sleep). But that temperature thing sounds awesome and very realistic (this is Skyrim, after all. It's supposed to be very cold)
  17. I can't seem to make those console commands work. Oh well. I guess I'll wait for a mod or something. I don't feel like starting a new game after 33 game hours just because I lost 4 or 5 points.
  18. I still think that feaure is for companions and non-evil enemies. And it is realistic. If you are badly hurt, even if you are a bandit chief, you can't stand on your feet - you are seeing in red and Death is laughing at you!
  19. Yielding also works for companions. Your companion are nearly-invincible, as they will yield if their HP is near to 0. If that happens, the enemy (most of them) will ignore him/her, and go after you, giving your companion enough time to recover and go back into the fight. Oh, and putting back your weapon works for most non-evil characters. (Source: my experience) I like that feature, it's very realistic. It would be nice if your character could yield too.
  20. I only have a house in Whiterun, best city I've seen yet. And I'm happy with it. I have a mountain of books in the entrance, though xD.
  21. I've changed my character's hairstyle a few times, and nothing bad happened (no reset, no achievement block). So, I think I can say it's safe. Note: I only changed the hairstyle and facial hair, I don't know if reset will be done if changed the race / sex.

  23. Curious. Any NPC that got spattered in blood in my game, got 'cleaned up' when I walked away and come again.
  24. +1 to the idea. I'd love to have a journey of my travels. Just to sit down sometime and read all I've done. Or, you could use it to write down anything you'll need to know. You know, the location of X item / person, for example.
