  1. Yes I am almost mind boggled that, that specific feature of AFT was not implemented anywhere else. I ended up using Unlimited Companion Framework because AFT just destroyed all of my companions A.I. in my last playthrough.
  2. Hello everyone, I am a previous Fallout 4, Amazing Follower Tweaks user and I am brokenhearted that the mod appears to no longer be maintained. It goes without saying that I no longer use that mod, but it does so many things that I cannot find in any other mod. Its greatest assets appear to be its downfall...but I digress. One of the features I really loved about that mod is the fact that you could send an NPC to any home. I had 20 added in companions and they all had specific homes throughout the commonwealth, many of which were also modded in locations and houses that cannot be selected as a settler/NPC home within the vanilla framework. I think it would be a great idea to create a standalone mod that primarily has that feature. This feature is beneficial because you can set a specific player home for NPCS to dismiss them to as their default location. That means you can even set these dismiss locations in the middle of a random street if you wanted to, but ultimately means you can dismiss them to specific places anywhere in the commonwealth [exteriors and interiors alike]. This mod would primarily be beneficial for managing the homes for extra modded in companions and extra modded in player homes. For example sending an NPC home to a modded in player home like various Goodneighbor player home or one of my favorites the renovated Marlboro Mansion player home (by Elianora). It would even be usefeul for a random location that is not modded, like one of the many Red Rocket derelict gas stations found in the vanilla game. I hope everyone else finds this idea appealing and useful! Let me know what you think! I believe it would be a great addition to the Fallout 4 modding community.
  3. Going to reply to this one still since I just ran into this problem. Hopefully it is still going to help others. I can confirm that it must be Raider Children causing this since coincidentally I am using that and experiencing the problem. Will move it around in my load order and report back findings.
  4. You're the only one who has attempted to explain this. I have an armor mod that has outfits that I want Diamond City Security to wear. I am still a noob when it comes to FO4edit. Would you be willing to explain what you would need to do to have the Diamond City Security wear certain clothes instead of their baseball uniforms and gear? I know you posted this in 2017 and its now 2021. Hopefully someone can help me still. Thanks
  5. I have a mod mod that I want to replace the Diamond City Security officers with. Assume everyone knows the basics of xEdit and please just specify the specifics of what to change and with what to focus (for instance IDs, Form IDs etc.) in this case, I really wanna get rid of their stupid baseball jerseys, armor, helmets etc. All of it. I have a mod that provides helmets, torso and gloves. Those items from the mod are what I want them to wear instead of the garbage from vanilla. Thanks.
  6. This was very helpful and as you noted, I had a few plugins still installed that was causing the crashing. The game starts fine now. Thanks a lot!
  7. I have uninstalled all my mods on Vortex due to constant crashing. Prior to this, I have deleted all previous saves and profiles in Fallout 4. The intention was to start a new game and reinstall the mods. Unfortunately with all the mods uninstalled Fallout 4 starts up up until about the Bethesda screen shows up and constantly crashes to desktop. I verified game files with Steam and even tried to start the game from the Steam hub to no avail. I understand I will need to reinstall the game. My question is, is can my mods be saved on Vortex when doing this? I know this is probably a case of wishfull thinking but I want to make sure I ask about it before I go through with it the hard way.I have not that much experience with Vortex and I am hoping that I won't lose all the mods I have downloaded while I reinstall Fallout 4. If not, are there more efficient ways to save your mods other than writing them all down and revisiting the Nexus to redownload all of them again? Thank you.
  8. Hi I have been looking all over NMM for a mod I thought I saw for Fallout 4. The mod allows you to shoot revolvers like a cowboy (ie flicking the hammer). Does anyone know which I'm referring to? If so please link me! Thanks!
  9. Hi. I'm only starting (just starting) to consider ending my FIRST PLAYTHROUGH since November 2015 because, well mods, mods always changes (I know that was lame). But I have a question about ending 5... It sounds like to get ending 5 starts with "Battle at Bunker Hill"? I killed the silly Courser before he could utter a word and that was that! So I guess after that you tell your son he is being a bad boy and quit his faction? I really don't want to see Glory die in my playthrough. It's not a big deal and just a game, but I treat games I enjoy like a movie and if I have a way to end it the way I like well I should! Haha. Thanks guys! Yeah I should really stop modding this game and finish it by now LOL.
  10. I'd be delighted if anyone could work on a non PA outfit (or armor) and helmet (or just the helmet) based off of this version of Briareos from the series Appleseed. Thanks! Reference: http://ep.yimg.com/ay/cmdstore/appleseed-alpha-12-inch-action-figure-movie-masterpiece-series-1-6-scale-briareos-hecatonchires-hot-toys-pre-order-ships-oct-2015-2.gif
  11. In response to post #39488585. #39489780 is also a reply to the same post. Glad someone else said it. The fault should be the one who made the choice to download. Actually, you'd think Bethesda would be responsible without all the moderating. Or partly responsible.
  12. Hello, I wasn't sure how good of a suggestion this would be, but I figured I request it anyway. Unoctium released the infamous T-49 Power Armor and as much I was willing to wear the mantle of the Storyteller, I doesn't quite feel the same having his armor yet, not having him around. I was wondering if Shoddy Cast was interested in actually working with modders to develop a Storyteller companion voiced by Jason (the narrator). I cannot continue playing my current F4 game without knowing I tried requesting for it at least! Thank you in advance. If you support the idea please +1 this o it might get noticed!!! Thanks!
