  1. with survival mode, limited amount of bullets, and npcs using ammo when firing, they usually end up with 0 ammo, after a few seconds, and then just stand there waiting to die, doing literally nothing

    so is it possible to make enemies flee/ resort to melee with fists when they are out of ammo?

     

    i was thinking , with the right mod, you could basically make the game more like the last of us, where melee is a major part, and guns are not used often,

    also, even further down that line of thought, you could make melee weapons be breakable and have like 1 time use shivs for stealth backstabs. to balance melee

  2. mods locked the 2 threads trying to discuss this, this mod is essential and i cannot play my game until it is updated

    so whats the deal? why is it taken down and why cant he just remove whatever BS skin some author is flagging his mod for constantly?

     

    seems like REALLY slow process for such a massive site and such a massive mod. this guy is essential for the modding community and i want to know wtf you guys are doing to make this stuff not happen again

  3. similar to turning enemies into goo with plasma , or ashes with laser rifles, add effects when you die by acid, fire, bullets- like no more clean bodies when they die, if someone gets shot, like a giant bullet hole where he was shot is visible, if you are killed by an explosion while in power armor have your power armor be fragmented/destroyed

     

    reason im suggesting is because i was just doing the mirelirk queen and died by acid, and the only effect for my death was some green shader effect on my body, would be awesome to see like the my skin melt off during my death cutscene

  4. i made a thread with this mod request but i dont think people got the game i was referencing

    theres a game called state of decay, and pretty much every aspect of that game should be inside of fallout 4 . its settlement/survival done right.

    but the major reason im suggesting this is , you can use your radio to call for your settlement members to come and loot an area you are at. so you don't have to sit there looking through everything

    also the way they handle resources is SO MUCH better than fallout 4's . like you know the shipments of whatever you can buy from merchants, you would find those in the game world, and when an npc would loot it, it would be like a huge duffle bag . and if you had vehicles you could throw those dufflebags in the car and get more, and when you recover those resources , then random loot of that kind of given

    also thigns like where you can break down those supplies in the field, you would get less amount of loot, but wouldn't be burdened by carrying the huge container

  5. if you've played state of decay, you can radio for your base to send npc's to come loot the area you're at

     

    they have a chance of getting killed coming and going from the location, so thats balanced

     

    would be great if you could incorporate some of the state of decay systems in this game, because its just a better survival/ base management system than fallout 4's

  6. things like modding guns should require gun nut 1, modding armor armorer perk 1, etc

    and like scraping altogether should be limited by scrapper perk

     

    and most importantly, limit settlement construction via perks, so you can't build complex stuff immediately, only very basic shelter / walls, and some way to learn new schematics through magazines

     

    edit: maybe some sort of builder perk ranks 1-5, unlocking new schematics per perk level
