There is a very nicely done mod series in Oblivion known as RealSwords (by waalx), for those who are not familiar is contains about a hundred unique weapon models (assigned to each of the TES races, like Nord, Orc, etc.) I don't know how difficult it is to convert an Oblivion weapon mod into a Skyrim one (I know it is not a sraightforward process), but I thought it would be a very neat addition to the Skyrim mods - particularly the Nord weapons.
