As said before the unofficial Oblivion patch takes care of it as does customracefix.

It seems to me that armour could use some subcategories. Breaking it down into male, female, light, heavy, would help with digging through those files.
-
Yeah, get OBM. It's a quick way to check for conflicts between mods and it makes installing a lot of them much easier.

Looking for two things.
1) A quality stealth/archery mod.
2) A compilation of character save games for fem Elf races (Moonshadow/Lineage 2/etc) if there is one.

Do you have Oblivion Mod Manager?
-
Search under armor or clothing and put HGEC in the description. It will give you a list of compatible mods.

I'm 12 and what is this?
On a serious note, when I saw this thread I tried desperately to remember an eccentric character named Vilja in the game. Now realizing that it is a mod, I'll give it a try and see if she does anything crazy. It looks interesting.

There's not a lot of love for Nexus in certain circles of the B type community.

The vast majority of characters in video games are simply fulfulling tropes that existed for decades (if not centuries) before video games.
As far as how females are portrayed in the games it depends heavily on the gaming company. There aren't really many strong female NPCs that I can recall particularly in any Bethesda games. The two Obsidian games that I've played (Kotor 2 and NWN2) both had strong female characters, to the point where I think the females in Kotor 2 could roflstomp the guys in a fight. Bioware tends to have good female characters.
Then you have the mysoginist companies that produce crap like GTA, but they're targeting the gangsta wannabe crowd, so what do you expect? :P

Star Wars would be fun until yet another Jedi becomes power hungry and BBQs half the galaxy for the umpteenth time.
I think I'd go with Space: Above and Beyond, Bablyon 5, or Starship Troopers.
Fantasy universes need flushing toilets :P.

The metric system is so much simpler and straightforward.

Bill the Butcher is the shiznit.
-
Blades are the classic weapon of the championesque heroic character whereas blunt weapons are favored by the poor or uncivilized.
I don't think there are even any good lucking blunt weapons in vanilla oblivion sadly.

It removes the curse that he had and allows him to return to his wife.

It's tricky, but doable. Wearing heavy armor while trying to sneak around is not advisable though.

It could be....
What was the mod?
-
So, I've reinstalled Oblivion and gotten the mods I like to usually have, but I'm experiencing a very strange and annoying bug. Custom races are not showing and I know for a fact I've installed them correctly (I've installed and used hundred of Morrowind, Fallout 3, and Oblivion Mods).
The strangest part is that some other mods such as HGEC are working.
Please help!

<snip>
Great suggestion.
I also think saved games should be divided into a Faces Category and then just another saved games category because for some reason people will load up their level 13 thief for no frickin reason.

Face is a Mystic Elf, part of Ren's Beauty Pack. It's been tweaked by Floydian1 (it's one of his main girls, so don't expect to see it available for download anywhere).I've been working on face and body models and i found this image: http://www.mrfloydian.com/Gallery2/d/46419...eenshot3598.jpgDoes someone know which face, hair and body model and which outfit this screenshot shows us?
thanks a lot.
Hair is from the Saram race, by idkrrr.
Clothes are from a mod made by Floydian1 (the person who took that image) and kalia. Yes, they are modified versions of the Dancer's Clothes. Look up Chapel Shop on PES.

The hair looks like Ren's. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4431
And the mesh doesn't look any different to me.
-
Okay, I have a question.
What race is this http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/images/2...-1233227463.jpg? I've never seen anything else like it. :P
Edit: Is it the Chocolate Elf race?
-
All you need to do is install the textures and meshes for the race in the data folder. Make sure you have the proper ESP file in your data folder. Check the box to enable the ESP. It should work.
If you're using custom races make sure to use the Custom Race Fix

Extra Robe Pack.esp
Underdark Unique Robes.esp
RenDisguises.esp
I'd look at those three.
I loaded these three mods in the CS and did a search for "Tan Robe, Short" which is the in-game description, but had no results.
Only thing you can do is check each clothing mod then :P. Or if it is just a minor issue, ignore it.

Wow, so much stuff here and things to look at, tons of stuff. Want to say hi to all and thanks for all the great work done here. i just built a new rig for more power hungry games and picked up Oblivion on my first run of games to exploit. I've already downloaded a few things here and there but came here to get more specific. In a nut shell I just want big ole boobies plain and simple. I assume Eye candy will be a part of my initial round of mods but all I really want are bigguns. There anything specific to this or am I to edit some files to enhance on my own? I plan to do more digging just wanted to pop through and get some advice on what I'm looking for.
Not to my taste, but I ran across it looking for something else.
EL OH EL
That mod is hilarious.
